I am sooo excited that “The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge” is included in hop. Woo Hoo! To start at the beginning of the hop go to the Altenew blog . If you are coming from the Tag You’re It Challenge blog you are in the right place.

Most of you know I love flowers and butterflies and Altenew’s flowers are always so lovely and I especially love this stamp set called, “Spring Daisy” I love how you can stamp the shading on the flowers if you don’t love to color. The background was created with Simon Says Stamp dot stencil and some distress ink.

I do have a video that I intended on position today but, it’s not finished due to some travel and bad internet connections. Soo sorry 🙁 ! I will do my best to post the video in a week or two if you can wait. In the meantime if you want to watch or subscribe to my videos click here.

I used my misti and masked off the flowers with some masking paper. Everything was colored with Copic markers and then I added colored pencil accents. A little twine and a water drop finished off my card.

If you look close I added white accents to each little seed in the center of the flower…then I added a tiny black dot on top of the white dot. (yes .. its ok to call me crazy) I also added white accents to the butterfly.

I thought it might be fun to send you off with a few different color combos. This particular flower I brought the darkest color down the center of each petal like I did for my card today.

On this flower I used the “feathering” on the petals to create an artistic look. ( this technique  is something I have enjoyed doing on and off through the years)

For this just a light touch down the center of the petals.

Go bold or go home lol. Love bright colors and this is a new combo for me.

    Oh my gosh! I love your card! It looks like it’s in 3D and it also looks real. The way you did the dots on the inside of the card is amazing because that is how the flower really looks, but you knew that, right? You would love this picture I have. It’s a picture of Paul McCartney that someone made and it’s totally made of black dots! I should send you a photo because you would be amazed at how it looks. You will never look at dots the same again.
    I also love to see all the different colors you used on your other flowers. That would be me, I would make it in a whole different color then it should be. I too love butterflies and flowers. They are my favorite things to stamp and to color among other things.

    I also love blog hops and can’t wait to see what everyone has done. I know I will be amazed as usual just like I was with your card. Winning something is always a plus too. My foot is still broken but I will be hopping along just the same.
    Every night and day I pray for everybody I know and I don’t know in the whole world and I’ve been doing that for years now so you and Veronica have been in my prayers and will continue to be in my prayers. She will get a special one tonight though.
