Hello Friends, How are you? Did you happen to notice that all week at the Penny Black blog we are showing cards with Christmas stamps but, using them for a card that’s NOT for Christmas.
Today is my day at the PB blog and I made two cards to share.
I love this “snow globe” called “sending love”. I could use this globe for every season. For months I have had this fish tank idea floating in my head and was so happy to finally put it on paper.
The random stitching was applied to the card base and I colored everything with copic makers. Glossy accents works beautifully on the bubbles and don’t forget to add more white bubble dots. Here is a card by Elizabeth using this same stamp and one by Ashley here.
This next card was inspired by a sunset I saw the other day and made a mental note of the colors. I just had to add this adorable penguin for some whimsy to the card.
The tree and penguin are “Christmas” stamps and again very versatile. Emboss the tree on white paper before you start distressing. For the penguin I used more copic markers and a very fine marker to add the details to the scarf. (it’s in the supply list)
Thank you for stopping I really appreciate it and I’m pretty sure that your holidays are crazy and your time is limited! Have a fantatic weekend! Hugs, Kathy

Wow Kathy these are so gorgeous! I love how you created the sunset on the second card – so stunning! 🙂
Awesome cards Kathy. Love the fishy globe. All those lovely white dots appearing again. Your sunset card is stunning and the penguin adds that little bit of whimsy perfectly.
Although both of the other girls cards are nice, I like yours the best. The other card you made is great as well.
so creative and fun, love both!
Beautiful cards – the colors are so vibrant and alive – just like that fun, cute penguin.
Great cards! I love the bright colors, and that penguin is adorable!!

Both are cute and beautiful at the same time!
FABULOUS creativity today, Kathy! Love both amazing, fun cards! Hugs!
Beautiful! Really amazing work of art, Love that fishy globe so much!
I love both of these cards, Kathy. But, the fish in the globe, as a fish tank, is soooo clever!!!
These cards are out of this world!! “NO-body does..it ..better…” 007 song came to my mind!
Beautiful cards, I so love the background to the penguin one, you just used distress inks! wow!
Wow what a fun idea using your christmas stamps in this way. Love the snow globe fish bowl!!
I lived on the tropical islands for 12 straight years. I luuuuv the “under the water”, beach, summer scenes on the cards!I swam with those beautiful fish in the ocean! I luv the way you stiched outside of the globe. I also luv the crab’s legs, hanging out from the globe! I also luv that you didn’t color the whole globe, left the white part on the top. This card really reminds me of my time in the islands 🙂 The 2nd card… i really don’t like Cold Winter, Period, but your coloring on the background of the tree & trees’ combination is almost the same pic. I took, a year ago, on my way home from the New Year’s lunch gathering. It was beautiful! as beautiful as your card!! 🙂
Love the colours on the tree card, just gorgeous!
you are amazing, girl! love love the beautiful colors and coloring on both cards. absolutely gorgeous!
Wow Kathy – amazing cards – gorgeous coloring!
