Hello Friends, I have a few questions that you all asked so I thought I would post them. I also have winners for you and a few links for Caylin’s Cure. I hope you will have time just to stop by and maybe leave a sweet note for sweet Caylin. More about that later. 🙂
Question: How do you connect the die cut pieces to make an opening for the card? Do you glue them? Or put an extra sliver of paper at the top so it opens properly?” This is the card she was wondering about.
Answer: I cut the same shape for the back of the card and I score it about 1″ from the top to create the fold when you open up the card. I attach the scored paper to the back of the card with two dots of Glossy Accents. ( I like to use Glossy Accents as my adhesive )
Question: I have had a few of you ask me if I will create more of my “Tuesday Tipsters”?
(you can them in my blog side bar)
Answer:I am thrilled that you like the “Tuesday Tipsters”. I have been thinking about using some of the tutorials that I have put on my blog in this format so you can print it out.Â
Question:Â What ink did I use when I use Tombow markers in reference to this card.
Answer: For this particular card I used a pigment ink. (VersaFine Onyx Black) but, I also use Memento Tuxedo Black. I am somewhat careful that I don’t over saturate my paper so I haven’t had any problems with either ink.
Just a note: I am happy for you to email me your questions. You will find my email under my photo on the blog side bar. It’s an easier way to respond to you personally. 🙂

There are always so many opportunities to win some great things in blog land. Have you heard of Caylin’s cure?? The only requirement is a donation for $10.00 and ONE of the prizes you could win is an IPAD!
Also there is an auction at Caylin’s Cure that Jennifer created a beautiful piece of art to “auction off”. Jennifer McGuire’s talent runs deep but, her heart is even bigger than her talent. Check this out. Jennifer has created a beautiful button wall hanging to raise funds for Caylin’s Cure. This is Caylin’s blog to donate directly if you would like and you can read all of the details.
I think this is the first time I haven’t posted a card to share. I hope I didn’t disappoint you but, I know you all are getting anxious to see how won. Don’t worry if you didn’t I will have many more opportunities coming up soon. Why wait….. just leave a comment for Caylin at her blog to win this stamp from Penny Black. I love this cake and here is a card I created with it.
