Hello Friends, This is my last post with my crafting space and I would love to hear what you are doing in YOUR studio and what’s working for you…. OR if you have any suggestions for me to make my space even better.
I never throw a card away that was made for me. If my CD storage fills up then I transfer the cards into a notebook. These are CD storage sleeves that I sewed together and nailed to the back of my door. This also works great for clear stamp storage.
I was lucky enough to take one of Jennifer McGuire’s classes last year at my favorite LLS.Yes, it was awesome!! I keep the cards I created in her class here too along with some stamps from Lawn Fawn and a few other clear stamps that I have.
I love markers and over the years have built up my Copic stash. I do wish I started with the sketch though. It bugs me they are mixed up and you can’t see the numbers on the Ciao however, I am grateful to have all of these after all my blog is named “The Daily Marker”. Lately I haven’t had time to color daily but, my markers are very lucky…they go on vacation with me. I take them with me when ever I might have a few minutes to color.
A sweet friend of mine, Jana uses this swatch book to plan out her cards. With Jana’s influence I find myself using this all of the time too….. The Copic Color Swatch Book…LOVE having this. You can find them here at Simon Says Stamp. I use a paper clip to keep all the pages nice and compact.
The wonderful ladies in my Penny Black stamp club at my LLS use this and carry it with them with shopping for Copics so they don’t purchase colors they already have!! These are the last of my studio photos and finally I will have a card for you on Friday from Lily Pad’s Color Palette. I am always grateful that you stop by. Hugs, Kathy

Great stuff!! it’s been a fabulous week “visiting” your creative space! I’ve really enjoyed it – I still am literally drooling over that button holder! I adore my Copic’s I’m not using them as much as I should. What do you have them stored in? Is that an antique piece you found?
Thanks for the peek of the Copics. I sympathize about the Ciaos – I’ve spent the afternoon labelling mine with the numbers (adhesive address labels cut into tiny rectangles to fit between the cap end air holes!!!).
I love the look of that Swatch book too – increasingly I find I need a colour chart of whatever medium I’m working with. Looking forward to your Lily Pad project.

wow! I love how you have your cards on display. ooo.. and I see my card there. I think your studio is fabulous. I have seen a metal rod on some peoples walls so they hang all their punches out.

Thank you for giving us a peek into your craft room. It is fabulous, well organized and so personal and personable! Just love how you use vintage objects like the replacement parts stand and filled the bottles with buttons!

Oh Kathy, I have so enjoyed visiting your world virtually, wish I could be there in person to play, I agree I wish I had bought sketch pens from the beginning rather than Ciao as many of my ciao pens have already ran out, so frustrating.

I love the CD sleeve card display on your door, very clever!
I also am a bit sorry that I started with the Ciao Copic markers and I have that mixture of Ciao and Sketch. I love the way the sketch feel when coloring and the ease of seeing the colors on the ends. I have my Copics stored in a plastic storage bin and would love any tips you may have in keeping yours organized so nicely. When I take one out of my bin, I have to put it back or the others shift and I lose the place for it. I find myself re-organizing my Copics way too often. Any tips would be appreciated.

So love your craft room. This would be a dream come true for me. I love the fact that you have a place for everything and everything in it’s place. I am starting to organize my own supplies, but it seems to be an on going issue. Trying to find containers that are long enough and see threw can be difficult to find. Any ideas from others is always a plus. THanks for sharing.

That is a great idea for the cards. I sometimes have made mini albums from cards, but hate messing with them. TFS!
