giveaway SSS october card kit

Hello Friends, How have you been??? Goodness…sorry it’s been so long since my last post.  I think it’s safe to say that by Halloween we will be in our new digs!! That overwhelming and exciting feeling is sinking in a big way 🙂 
This is Simon Say’s Stamp October Card Kit and I am THRILLED TO SAY THAT

Each  month I delight in seeing what surprises await me in my Card Kit boxes. This month I was so excited to see another stamp set with this beautiful flower! (Kristina does an amazing job creating beautiful stamps for Simon) ! This large chipboard sentiment is worth every penny. I added black enamel accents to mine. Take note of this beautiful chipboard coaster that I cut in half to get make another card with it….you will see the other half in my next post. 
I had to show you the glossy enamel accents in all it’s glory (that I covered the “Always” with). Did you notice how I used my white gel pen to make lines adding a detail to the petals?? Each seed in the middle of the flowers has a blob of glossy accents on it. 
The fun center of the flower I cut a few times cutting each a slightly different way to give me a variety of sizes to use as embellishments. I should mention that the stamped sentiment “& Forever” I used this die from Spellbinders to get the wonderful shape and lightly distressed it so the shape would stand out.

    I know you’ll be glad when the house is done & you’re actually loved in. It is such a chore! This is such a pretty card. This month’s kit has great neutrals and that makes it fun to add whatever pop of color you want! It would great to play around with!!!

    Kathy, It’s beautiful! I love how you used the flower center over and over again, they remind me of the water flower, lotus, seed pods. I’m amazed at the mileage you get out of your white gel pen and it gives great detail, that I would not have thought of. Thanks for a chance to win some great stamping goodies.
