Hello Friends, How has your weekend been?? Last week was totally unproductive for me. My first experience of debilitating back pain. Wow! Now I truly can have sympathy for those of you who suffer with back ailments. Today I am feeling better and have so much to catch up with.
I colored this absolutely adorable mouse from Penny Black weeks ago so it was easy to give him a home. The BasicGrey papers are finally in the store and I in love with them. Incidentally they are called, “True Love”.
Here’s a little tip for tying a bow around something small and it usually works really well. In this case I tied it around a paper piercer…sometimes I use a pencil or paint brush but, for this tail I needed something small. When you are finished slip the bow off of the piercer and slip it onto the tail.
I added some Glossy Accents to make sure the bow stayed in place. (I use GA for everything and I mean everything. You will not see me use a tape runner) You might notice the back of my image? I use this marker on the edges so you don’t see a white edge.
The candy heart on the cupcake I used two coats of Glossy Accents. After the second coat dried over night I added Rock Candy Stickles to the frosting. (This post is making me hungry) Black Enamel Accents were added to the nose and the eye. A larger blop was added in the nose so it wasn’t the same size as the eye. One more detail…. love the coordinating stamps & die Talk Bubbles from Simon Says Stamp. I shaded the talk bubble with a Boo, Bo2 and Booo Copic markers so it would stand out more.
Thank you again for your visit here. Have a great week! Hugs, Kathy

Take good care with your back – they’re not to be trifled with.
I had to chuckle as I clicked on the link for the marker – I was doing just that & it is THE best one for the task in my humble opinion. Love the little bow on the tail & as always it’s the small details that make your projects so professional.

OMGosh, you ARE lucky for this only being your first back pain experience!!! I’ve been dealing with my back going out since 1994 after being in a car accident. Currently sitting on ice as a matter of fact LOL. Glad you’re feeling better! This card is gorgeous, love the coloring! What I’m in awe of is the shadows you put on the grass! Awesome!!!

I am sorry to hear you are suffering with back pain. As a major back pain sufferer I understand 100%. It consumes your life. I have been dealing with mine for the past 6 years. Not fun. Rest and alternating heat/ice will help. Long HOT showers too, if you can stand. I have days I can’t move at all. {{{HUGS}}} Hope your feeling better soon.
