What a super fun technique! Loved your tutorial! 🙂 xx
I had no idea you could use distress ink on acetate and that paper towel technique gives such a fabulous texture! Thanks for sharing and for a chance to win the stamp set.
How clever – a new technique. It is like polished stone on acetate. Now I need some inks.
Love the blending technique and samples! Very pretty!
Great customizable cards and technique! I left a comment on the BG blog. Thanks for the technique tutorial. This looks like it would work well with alcohol inks, too, although I love the DI colors. 😉
Such an amazing technique Kathy, would love to try it. Thanks for sharing the tutorial, the step by step is so helpful!!!
so cool, thanks for the technique!
That was such a great tutorial! I broke my alcohol inks out for the first time ever last night, and I love them! Your tutorial got me thinking of other materials to try to get a similar effect too….if you’ve tried any others, would love to hear about them!
I visited BasicGrey blog–Very cool technique with the paper towel!
That’s a cool technique and I haven’t seen the alcohol inks used in awhile so it was nice to see you using them again!
I really like the look of the reddish one with the paper towel marks. Funny. I’ve tried this before and always did my best to NOT mark the ink up. Purposely marking it looks great. LOL!
I visited the BG blog and WOW WEE that is so awesome.. great technique… girl you are so creative and inspiring.. thanks for sharing..love your card..
Great technique tutorial on BG.

I visited the Basic Grey blog, wow! thanks for sharing the technique, the results look amazing! I don’t have any alcohol inks but have lots of reinkers. I’ll get some blending solution and definitely give this a try! 🙂
Wow, what a fun technique and fun theme with the month stamped. Love that you can make plenty and use on LO’s or cards! Thanks for showing!

Great technique, Kathy! I am a follower and love all of your fabulous ideas.
amazing technique using the Reinkers – I’d really not have thought they would work with acetate. I love the way you discovered the way of using the texture from the paper towel too – you never know what is going to occur next when crafting do you? I particularly like the way you have highlighted the date in the first card.

I was just talking to a friend yesterday about wanting to craft with acetate, and now I have a very cool technique to try on it! Great tutorial over on the BG blog! One question…I didn’t understand what you did with the circle you cut out of the acetate with the word May on it. Is it darker because of the Glossy Accents you used to adhere it back in? ~Hugs!
Super tutorial. Thanks for sharing this wonderful technique.
Thank you so much for a chance to win this stamp set.

Your Think technique tutorial was fantastic! I have never used acetate before but you have inspired me to add it my scrapbook wishlist. There are many steps to the process but it is so worth it. I love how you highlighted the month of May, so unique!! Great work and thanks for taking the time to post step by step instructions.
You are so creative!!…I love your projects…they never disappoint!!…Thanks for sharing!!
Well, I never would have thought to use refill inks on acetate. Or that the alcohol blender could even be used with them….interesting, must give it a go.
Love the stamp too. I’d be tempted to cut each month out, but I suppose just taping all the unwanted months would be easier, then stamp just the one month.
I’m excited. Laura
