Hello Friends, How are you today? Any fun plans for the weekend? How about something sweet?
It’s Simon Says Stamp Card Kit time! You know what that means right?
I have Simons JULY 2013 CARD KIT TO GIVEAWAY TO ONE LUCKY WINNER. You know the drill…. just leave me a comment and I will randomly pick a winner to be announced July 4th.
I couldn’t decide what photo I liked best…with the stone wall or not. Would love to hear your feedback on that. 🙂 Creating these realistic sized cupcakes was easy and fun. I will be cooking up more cupcakes this weekend without heating up the kitchen or giving me a sugar high.
I just love how Glossy Accents brings stuff to life. Do you like the look of the outlined hearts?

love the cupcake cards, and the glossy accents are a great touch! (I like the pictures best against the plain white background.)
Great cards! What a difference the black outline makes on the hearts – good call. Love the use of Glossy Accents, too. And I prefer the photo with the brick background, too – I think your cards show up better thare than with just the plain white background. Either way, they are very cute cards!
Love the enlarged cupcakes and, you were right, the outlined hearts really pop more. I agree with you about the glossy accents, it adds a lot. Nice job and thanks again for sharing.
Great instructions, thanks for sharing with us.
See, this is why I love reading your blog — a great idea every time! I would never have thought of enlarging a stamped image and using it as a template.
Both photos are good, but I like the one in front of the stone wall because it has more contrast, and the texture adds interest too.
Definitely with the stone wall Kathy – adds interest. TFS ways to alter the stamps.

I LOVE these Kathy! These are so, so adorable! I’m going to have to make some myself. Paper piecing is the funnest. I do see why you outlined the hearts. They needed to be as bold as the rest of the cupcake. Thank you so much for sharing!
These are SO cute! I love the glossy hearts. As for the background, I prefer white. The wall looks nice, but I like just seeing the card itself. 🙂 Thanks for all your awesome giveaways!

What darling cards and I love the brick wall!!
Thank you for the chance to win.
What awesome cupcakes! Thanks for the chance to win!
Thanks for showing us how to enlarge our stamps. Cute cupcakes. The white background makes the cupcakes stand out but the stone wall gives them a setting ( as if they were real and set out on a table to eat).
Love your cupcakes!! Would love to win the kit!!
Adorable! I love cupcakes!! Thanks for the chance to win!
Ask and you shall receive – that’s my opinion! I like the dark background to show off the cupcakes best. The beautiful cupcakes fade into the white background, however I like seeing the 2nd view to see the cards in a side view and there you have it. LOL. Yes, I love what Glossy accents does to stuff. My bottle is never off my table. Also, the marker around the hearts is perfection.
Boy, long winded here, but wanted to let you know how cute these cards came out. And a big thank you for putting up the card kit as a prize.
Adorable card! thanks for the chance to win! ~God bless!
Papers are beautiful.
OMGosh these are adorable!!!!!! You’re so crafty and creative, love it 🙂 Ok, sadly, I can not choose which backdrop I like better – the brick or the white. They BOTH look good! I do think it was wise to do the hearts in black on the edges!!! Made a huge difference 🙂 Take care!

What an awesome idea! One I’ve never thought of, but so have to try now! Thanks so much!
Hi Kathy! Okay, this is one of the reasons I love your blog so much. You make me think of crafting in ways I never thought of. I have enlarged a stamp before a couple of times, but I did it once to make a large stamp to stamp on fabric for curtains. LOL And I did it once to make a tiny drum set to fill an 8 1/2 x 11 inch card stock and it started large card envy at my husband’s work for birthday cards. LOL What a fun way to get a shaped card. Now if I could just get my printer to work right. Ha! Great cupcake card. What would we do without glossy accents? Love that stuff.
Super cute ideas. Thanks for sharing!
