Hello Friends, How are you on this hot summer day?
As promised I have Simon Says Stamps August Card Kit 2013 to giveaway today!!
 You know the drill by now…. just leave me a comment and I will pick a random winner by the end of next week.
I have already created two cards with this delightful card kit so if you missed them click here. The stencil in the kit is such a pretty pattern I hope we will be seeing it in a die cut. The background was created using the moroccan stencil and Unicorn white ink. The circles & flower center were inked up with this & this ink. I used daubers to pull in the color on some woodgrain paper. Easy and fun. 🙂 ( If you need storage for your daubers this is awesome. I have one for my distress ink and my other inks as seen in this post) One more thing… If you don’t enjoy cutting out flowers this is the die cut I used for my flower.

Isn’t the paper delicious? So happy! It’s called, “Up & Away” and love how the colors work together. The window was created with Simon’s Die cut called, “Apothecary Labels” and I use them to create windows all the time. (there is a sentiment set to match the labels here.) The badge on the card is exclusive to the card kit but, here are many more from Kelly Purkey if you like to create fast and easy cards with them. That’s it for today.     Love what you did with this month’s kit…awesome! You always inspire…thank you! And thanks for the dauber storage suggestion…I know you showed it before, but I didn’t need it then I guess. Now my little container I’ve been tossing them in is such a mess and this has been on my mind lately so it always is appreciated when you revisit a great idea once in a while.     Lovely idea with stencil, I like the second card too! Although I never choose to put black patterned paper on my cards, your is pretty cheerful and far from depressive. I like it a lot!

    Your cards are so eye catching and vibrant! This card kit looks very interesting – I have not tried stencils yet but the Moroccan is definitely intriguing and I can see how it would add a lot of new dimension and texture to a card or scrapbook page.
