Hello Friends!! How are you today?? It’s always a fun day when I have one of Simon Says Stamp Card Kits to GIVEAWAY!! Thank You Simon!
TODAY I AM GIVING AWAY THE SEPTEMBER CARD KIT. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS LEAVE ME A COMMENT LETTING ME KNOW IF YOU LIKE GLITTER…OR JUST SAY HI 🙂
(I will pick a random winner on the 29th at midnight & post the winner on the 30th.)
Did you join in the blog hop for the September Card Kit?? I created several cards for the hop but, this time I wanted to make a masquline card. I also needed to use more of Tim Holtz’s distress glitter & Kelly Purkey’s die AGAIN called “Triangles” and oh the possibilities!
Did you happen to notice that ONLY ONE of the triangles on the card is glittered with Peacock Feathers? The other two glitter colors are this & this.
It’s super fast when using Glossy Accents on your die before adding the Distress Glitter. Shake off excess and set aside to dry.
Your can get more mileage from your die cuts by using them on an edge as I did here. Trim with black card stock to highlight the fun edge. The sentiment was stamped with the “Life is a Journey” that’s included in the card kit. That’s it for today and please remember I am always grateful for your visit. Shoot me an email if you have questions. Hugs, Kathy
P.S. If you don’t have a blog please LEAVE YOUR EMAIL so I can contact you if you win.

Hi, I love the glitter. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful card! Love the glitter 🙂
люблю глиттер. Еще бы научиться делать так, чтобы он совсем не осыпался)))
love glitter)
Love your layout!!! Nice job!! ….and who doesn’t love glitter!!!
Not a fan of glitter unless it comes from a pen or brush. However…There is a collection of tiny jars of glitter in my craft-room on the shelf to keep the FAIRIES happy just in case:)
Yay! Glitter!!! Love this, Kathy!
Love that triangle diecut … and I sometimes use glitter. I prefer stickles though.
I do love glitter, although I do not like the mess. Thanks for the chance to win!
Oh yes… I loooooooove glitter :)))))
I do love glitter but not the mess it makes 🙂
I’m so loving that awesome glitter! That die is to “die” for as well….lol! I love your masculine card! Those are something I struggle with myself! Your blog is such a great inspiration for me! Thank you so much! Hugs-Shaughn
I conditionally like glitter!!! I like it on birthday cards and things like that but not layouts as much! Thanks for a chance t win!
I LOVE glitter!:)
Well it does say on my blog ‘I’m so glam I sweat glitter!’ Hugs, Jo x
Brilliant card and the glitter adds a perfect finish x
wow I love love love how you added the glitter.. fabulous card..
I love glitter! Thanks for the chance to win! hugs, Helena
It’s messy but I love it!
My relationship to glitter is a love-hate one. I love the effect of glitter on finished products, but I hate how messy it gets when using it…
Love the triangles, but I don’t always get on with glitter
Great card and I looove glitter.
I love glitter, infact made a sparkly card yesterday:) Gorgeous and perfect masculine card. I’ve never tried a kit before but it seems like I have to try once 🙂
Beautiful card…. And, no, I did not notice that one triangle was different until you said so. LOL
resatwo at sbcglobal dot net
Beautiful card.
Gr Elly
You can’t go wrong with glitter! Cute card!
What a great card! I didn’t notice that one of the triangles was different til you told me.
Thanks for the chance to win…and no, I’m not a huge fan of glitter. I’ll add shine with glitter pens or stickles but I don’t use glitter often.
Love glitter! Those Distress Glitters look very cool.
Ang
Hi Kathy. Love how you have balanced all that glitter with a neutral background. Glitter is great, in small dosages. ; -)
Marianne x
I love the look of glitter but the not the mess, so tend to use pre-glittered things more often that the loose. That being said, I’m probably going to cave and get some of the new Ranger TH glitter! [If I was lucky enough to win, just want to mention that I might not have much access to the ‘net or email in the week following the close of the giveaway!]
Love the glitter!! Thanks for the chance to win.
Love the shape your using on your card! And a little bit of glitter is perfect here! Inky greetings, Gerrina
Hi. Saw the peek on Instagram. Yes, I like glitter. those this!
I love glitter!! Stickles or loose, I don’t care. Just love the prettiness of it on a card!
Great card, the distress glitter looks fantastic! I LOVE glitter, you can never have enough, I will have to get some more soon 😉
That glitter is beautiful, great card. I must confess I hate the mess it makes so I don’t use glitter very often. The kit looks like it is a lot of fun. Hope your week is off to a good start.
What a cool die and of COURSE I love glitter
Yummy colors on your pretty card! I love glitter!
Your projects are always so unique! I love the die cut off the edge and then outlined in black!
Yes, glitter is OK but I seldom use it. I make a lot of cards for Operation Write Home (they provide blank cards for soldiers in remote assignments to write home on). Glitter is a strict no-no because it could migrate to them and be picked up by enemy night vision tools.
Great card! I have glitter but I haven’t used it yet. I’m a little afraid of the mess. LOL
Fun card! I like what you did with the glitter but I love the cut-out at the bottom. Unique and cool!
Hi!! I love glitter….just hate the clean up!!!!
Great use of this die and I like the colors of glitter you used. I tend to only use a bit of glitter on my projects.
slrdowney at hotmail dot com

i love the idea of glitter and i have it but i must confess i never use it! LOL!

Absolutely love Glitter!! I’m actually kinda sorta addicted to it right now. I just can’t make a card without it…it just looks too plain to me anymore :). Thanks for the opportunity to win next months card kit!
I love dies and love glitter, so I think that the combo you made is super!!!
fiorellacorini@alice.it
I like glitter, but I hate that afterwards it just gets everywhere!
Finding it on my face, arms and in my hair is nothing extraordinary, but finding it in my bra is silly. 🙂
I love glitter, preferably in Stickles form 😉
Awesome card and glitter,Thanks for sharing!!
I do love glitter and are trying to find new ways to use it. Thanks so much for the chance to win.
kazfree(at) xtra(dot)co(dot)nz
I love glitter! But when I make masculine cards I don’t really know if it’s too glitzy for a guy to use them :/ But it really make a differenc in the end result… everything looks better with some sparkle on 🙂
I love glitter!! I don’t use it as much as I should, though, so love the inspiration I get from cards like yours!

I love the new TH glitter! I can’t wait till it gets to New Zealand!!! I didn’t notice the single peacock feather glitter triangle until I read your comments – it looks fab though! Such delicious colours 🙂

Yes, Glitter is nice. Thank you for sharing all the beautiful things on your blog !
Hi Kathy, I love glitter, and I love how you used glitter on this card! 🙂 Thank you so much for the chance to win this fantastic kit! xo
Too funny, but I was not a fan of glitter until taking some Heartfelt Creations classes this weekend. Oh my, just a little bit of glitter brightened up both cards and layouts. So I’ve already made a couple of cards at home and put glitter on them! I think I’ll be using it a lot in the future!
Love to work with glitter, thanks for a chance at a great give away!!!
I love your card ( interesting edge treatment ) , love triangles and love glitter … Thank you for the chance to win the kit .
I love glitter, but I have not worked with it much lately. Thank you for the inspiration to get it out again. I didn’t notice the peacock glitter the first time around but went back for a second look and there it was. Thank you for a chance to win an awesome kit.
Gorgeous! I love the look of the new TH glitter. Haven’t tried it yet, but looks like I need some. Hope I can win the kit.
I have to say yes, because my first thought was “who doesn’t like glitter”? 🙂 Gorgeous card!
Love your cards! Thanks for the chance!
Your card is great and the glitter just makes it perfect! Love it!
I love glitter although I don’t use it very much.
I love glitter and I love die cutting, a marriage made in card heaven! Love your card tip of using dies on the edge, a very nice touch!
Triangle Genius! Love a chance to win the kit. Thanks
I like the look of glitter but commonly use Stickles as it is less messy.
Oh Yeah! Gliltter is my best friend. I love all things glitter. It gives everything that extra kick
Great card! I love glitter without the mess! ~God bless~
Your card is delightful and the kit looks filled with fun! I live in a hot climate so the question is not do I like glitter, but is it cool enough to turn off all the fans while I create this?
Thanx for another chance to win.
My dot billiejo at gmail dot com
Love glitter. Messy, but fun.
Love glitter but don’t like the mess after. 😉 Love how you used glitter on your card!
I like the glitter but can’t use it on most of the cards that I make. They are going to OWH and glitter can be seen by night vision goggles.
Really loving those glitter triangles
lovely card and i like the glitter a lot thanks for the chance
Do I like glitter? Do clouds open up into rain? Oh yeah! I absolutely love the color of glitter you used here.
Love the glitter, but I make a HUGE mess when using it… 🙂
Distress glitter.. life just gets better and better.. love your card the colors you chose. Thanks for the chance to win this awesome kit.
I am attracted to shiny things so of course I love glitter! That small triangle die is on the way to my house, too. Great card!
I love glitter!
I just LOVE glitter! I think it is one of the easiest ways to add that little extra something to a card. 😀
I like the glitter
although I don’t use glitter very much!
I like the paper where it’s already on it,
thanks for the chance to win.

I totally love glitter as I love simon says stamp kits 😉 your card looks gorgeous with all the different colors of glitter.
Love what you have done with the triangles! Thanks for a chance to win!
Love glitter!!
I love glitter! But I hate the mess it makes. I’ve used one of the funnel trays, but the glitter sticks to it more than I’d like. Thanks for the chance to win!
I have to use glitter when I face paint; it makes all the difference!
{I use special face painting glitter}
But I stay away from it when I craft since I mostly make cards for Operation Write Home and glitter is a huge NO NO for safety reasons.
I do like glitter!!!
My email is cmq3@aol.com
I don’t use a lot of glitter but I love the effect you’ve gotten using it on this card. I really like Kelly’s new dies & stamps!! This is just a great kit all the way around.
I LOVE glitter.
isoscia@aol.com
I love glitter, but I don’t use it very often. I’ve started to use Stickles, because it avoids the mess and lets you control the application. Is the Tim Holtz glitter chunky or did you put a lot on? It looks fabulous! marcielovett at Hotmail dot com
Oh how I love glitter, but this Distress Glitter is new to me. What a fun kit with so many wonderful fun components.
The sparkles are so much fun and I like that you used different colours. I have a blog, but too nervous to write in it. lol Thanks for sharing and the chance to win. Have a great day! 🙂
I love how you played with glitter on this card, Kathy…so pretty! I love glitter, too…just don’t love the mess 🙂
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Bling – any way, any type of product. And glitter is definitely BLING!!!
I happen to love glitter and this card is really nice. Thank you
I love glitter but often forget to use it. I love what you did with it in this card. It’s very southwestern looking and as I live in Arizona, it’s very appealing to me. Have a great day. Hugs, Julie.
Fantastic card! Love glitter? I absolutely love glitter…all forms and types! Can’t wait to try the new Distress Dry Glitter!
I LOVE glitter! Your card reminds me of space invaders!
Do I like glitter??? Isn’t that the same as asking if the Pope’s Catholic? LOL. I don’t know any crafter who doesn’t LOVE glitter, including me! I love your card and especially like the single peacock triangle. It adds a pop and some uniqueness!
Bling is ALWAYS good! 😉 Love this card!

wow that glitter is stunning!!! This card is so awesome too!
Love your card, and the glitter looks fab! I have that on my wish list! Not sure what colors to begin with!
Hi and I like glitter and what you’ve done with it!
Thanks.
Hi Kathy
Glitter is my new obsession, it works better with a Glossy Accents type of product, less mess. I had been crafting cards earlier and while watching TV with hubby I started to giggle he had glitter on his cheek. Now how did that get there? Thanks for sharing your creations.
Joe-Anne
Love the glitter! You are so creative!
Thanks for the chance to win.
Duh…who loves Glitter? This gal! Love the card!
I’m a glitter QUEEN and love the way you used it on the dies. Haven’t got any of Tim’s glitter yet, but will soon. Thanks for sharing.
love your card! I love glitter but it does not love me. So I’m with Stickles now.
Love glitter, but I’m just not sure how to use so it doesn’t look like a 5 year old played in it.lol Your project makes me want to try it:) Thanks so much!
I am dying to get my hands on the new Distress Glitter! I loooove all the Distress products and techniques and love how you incorporated some of that into your card. I can’t wait to try out your suggestions and ideas. And I did indeed notice the triangle you singled out from the others with a different color. LOL. I have done something similar in a few of my own Zentangle art pieces. Cheers to you! (Hope I win. As per your request, my email address is acfranks@bellsouth.net.) Hopping along…. 🙂
Great giveaway. I love glitter, I usually coat it in glossy accents once it has dried so the glitter doesnt flake off.
I love your card! But then I love all the cards you make! Thanks for the chance to win an awesome card kit!
Here’s the thing, Kathy. I like glitter if other crafters use it and in moderation. The only glitter I use is glittered paper once in a great while or Stickles. The real stuff is too labor intensive and messy for me. (Did you want this much of a rant when you ask this?) sorry! he he.
Who doesn’t love glitter!!! What a wonderful opportunity…THANKS SO MUCH Kathy!! 🙂
I love Stickles! All the fun of glitter, but without the mess!
LOOOOOOOOVE Glitter!!!!!

What a fun card Kathy. LoVe those triangles covered in sparkly glitter. Awesome kit!
Who said you can never have too much glitter? Oh, that would be me!! Yes, I love love love glitter and I LOVE your awesome card!
I think glitter has come such a long way since I was a kid at school (30 odd years ago….) and it looks amazing in so many different ways. I love how this card is more masculine but the glitter doesn’t look out of place at all. Colour combo is brilliant and love the triangles and hexagons together. Fantastic!! shona.chambers@orcon.net.nz
Love your card. The triangles and glitter look fabulous.
OH YES!!!!! I LOVE to use GLITTER!!!!!:)It DOES depend on WHAT you use it on too!!! Certain cards just CRY OUT for GLITTER!!!!:) SUPER CARD KATHY!!!!:) LOOOOOOOOVE those TRIANGLES!!!!!:)

I love glitter but don’t use it often as I can’t do it without making a mess. My compromise is a glitter Gelly Roll pen. Thanks for the chance to win!
What a lovely card. So much fun with the triangles and all the glitter. And yeah, I love glitter.
I have quite a few of the Distress Stickles, but now I “need” Distress glitter, too! Your card is fantastic, Kathy, & I’m putting that die on my wishlist!

I loved using glitter as a child and I still love the look of it but, somehow, the thought of the mess keeps me away from it now! Of course now I have glitter nail polish, eyeshadow, pre-glittered paper, etc.
Love your card. TFS.
Glitter can be fun but I do not use it much.
