I stand firmly on the side of full post…..I hate having to go back and forth between the internet screen/email when I am reading on my phone…..easier just to keep scrolling down.
Kelly Massman says
If it is not too much trouble, please include the full post!! hugs,
conil says
Full post, yes, please.
Deann says
Full post please.
Shannon says
Not sure if my opinion on this applies since I read your content via Feedly but for what it’s worth, I would prefer to see the whole post in the Feedly listing, rather than read only some of it and have to “jump”. Even on posts that I love, that extra bit of effort is annoying and ultimately, I view those blogs less because of the effort needed.
Kathy Racoosin says
Yes, your opinion matters even if you don’t “subscribe” thanks for taking the time to let me know your thoughts 🙂
Joan says
Full posts are much easier to view, thanks!
adele says
I started to say “half post” is fine because I visit your Blog every day via RSS feed anyway; however in thinking about it, full post would be better when I need to see the whole thing on my phone or Kindle.
Nupur says
Full post is a better option for me…
Brenda says
I definitely prefer the full post!
Maryann says
I definitely preffer the full post too, as it´s much faster to read it this way.
Hope you get everything sorted out here soon.

I would prefer FULL POST… 🙂
Sandra ltb says
well, this is a funny one to me, I love to see the full post – but then I always end up bouncing over to your blog to leave you a comment since I am always stunned and amazed at what you do and need to tell you how wonderful you are … so I guess in the long run, it does not matter to me – I end up here anyway!
Sandra ltb

Ayelet Barkay says
Hi,
Congrats on the new blog 🙂
I read your posts via bloglovin’, but I think it’s better to send only the beginning of the post, so people will actually click and visit your blog so they will be able to leave a comment and that way, you’ll have more hits (entry) to your blog.
And thanks for the chance to win a goodie bag!
Sue McRae says
I prefer the full post as well.
Lucille K says
Hi Kathy – half or full post will work for me as I check your blog daily . I love your new web site 🙂

Full post… please! Great site I just love all the changes!

I’m actually okay with either full or partial post. I don’t mind coming to your blog to read the full post, because sometimes I like to page down and look at older posts again, too. You have so many good ones!
joy says
When I get your post in my e-mail, I always click on the title and switch over to your blog because most of the time I leave a comment and I can’t do that from the e-mail site. But, I can see how those who use their phone or other techie thing would prefer the full post. Either way, I have been following you for a long time now and don’t want to miss any of your gorgeous creations and fab tips!!
Carla Hundley says

Paula Ponton (PEP) says
I tend to come straight to your blog so I’m happy either way. The key for me is to know that you’ve posted.
All the best with the new blog endeavour.
Paula (PEP)
Beatrice Lawson says
I follow on Bloglovin and I really dislike the “half” posts where I have to click again to read the content. also the half posts do not show the picture in the Bloglovin list which is another argument against it… so please, full post! I think that regardless of how we read the content via email or reader it makes more sense to get the full post. There may be a good reason why bloggers switched to a half post though, curious to know it.
Julia says
I get your updates via my RSS app “Reeder” on iOS and on the Mac. I personally prefer the entire post to be visible, simply because it makes it easier for me to consume. But I understand that this lowers the page-hits you get, so if these are important to you (for sponsors, etc) I get it if you don’t share the entire post.
For what it’s worth: if I see an article that I find interesting and need to revisit (because I like a photo or I want to try a technique), I usually mark it unread in Reeder, then go back to it when I have more time and actually open it in a browser. That allows me to easily pin an image or watch a video if one is included for instructions. So, for tutorials etc. I usually always go to actual website, eventually, because it’s more comfortable to consume the content there.
Thanks, by the way, for your great tutorials and website. I really enjoy reading your articles!
Gail says
Full post please…thanks!
Marissa M. says
I definitely prefer the Full Post option. I know it’s nice to get people to come to your blog, but most of us do anyway! 🙂 It’s really nice to see the whole thing when I’m on my phone.
JanMcD says
Full post are best for me.
Laura Papercuts says
I vote Full post as well….but as long as they’re still coming 🙂
Kathy Racoosin says
Hi Laura, I emailed you the answer to your jel pen question but, the email bounced back. I will add it here just in case.
I have found that the jelly roll ones don’t work quite as well but,
this is what i do for all of my white pens… i have both but, mainly use the signo one.
i always always hold it up right and put the tip on my finger…. i will keep it there moving it slightly until the ink is flowing…moving the tip in circles
it’s best to hold the pens somewhat upright when writing… using them very slowly to give the ink time to flo evenly.
let me know if you have any luck if not i would suggest calling the manufacture and see if they will give you a refund.
Jennifer S. says
Either is fine with me as well. I visit your blog everyday but it is nice to have information delivered to my inbox as well.
Mateja P says

Angie Linton says
I like the full post.
Rhandi D says
I always pop over to your blog and having half the post will

Greta H says
I like the whole post since sometimes if I’m on my phone I can’t get web pages to open, but can read e-mails. It’s probably me being so un-techy–LOL!
Nicole says
I think I’m in the minority, but I like the half posts because it reminds me to visit the blog (so that I can read the rest and see what’s new) There are so many things out there these days, it’s nice to have a little reminder of my favorites so I don’t get too far behind. 🙂
Sue D says

I was thinking partial post, because I ALWAYS have to come & see all the details of everything you’ve done! A partial post is like BAIT! LOL Especially, if you want people to comment, they HAVE TO come to your blog! 🙂
Jean Nielsen says
Full post please! Thank you for asking!
Linda K says
I choose whatever is easiest for you. I can easily switch back and forth and always check out your blog anyway. I’m retired and have lots of time to view either way. Have a great day.

Traci Rogers says
Full post please 🙂
NANCY WOOLEVER says
Full post please

Linda Tupper says
I definately prefer the full post.

Linda says

My initial response was half post, but I read what others said as I scrolled. I understand their reasoning and agree. I am going to follow whether it is full post or half so I am fine with either way. I appreciate all that you share. Thanks!
Cali says
Full post please. It is esp helpful when I am traveling! Thanks!
diane morales says
full post please! love a good teaser
Sharn Harnist says
Beautiful new blog design, Kathy!
Petti says
Full post please, definitely. The half post requires us to open another browser and then depending on the machine sometimes it would slow things down…
Linda Gordon says
full post seems to be overwhelming!…I usually jump to the blog right away anyway so its easier to comment, so it doesn’t matter much to me, but I’m sitting at my computer, not getting it on my phone or other device.
Flo says
I prefer full post. If you open the email to read it, who wants to click anywhere else to finish reading it. Thanks for asking.
stick says
I don’t really care one way or the other …. but if the full post is in the email I’m much less likely to comment or visit the blog. I don’t at all mind clicking through from an email to continue reading. Guess I’m the odd one out on this 😉
Michelle G. says
I like full posts….mainly because my internet service is dicey and the less I have to click in and out of places, the better!!!! Thanks so much for all of your wonderful ideas and creativity. You are so inspiring!!!!

I like half posts… I get the gist of the post and I if I like what I am reading I like to flip over
to the website. While I’m there I may browse other posts that catch my eye.
hth!!
Faith R. says
Full posts. Thanks.
Bev H says
Full post please even though I like to visit your blog to comment or see other posts. Thanks for listening.
Renee R says
Full post, if it’s not too much trouble : )
Mardi Weber says
Whatever works best for you. Though, after thinking about it, I think I like the full post in the email.
Celine Blacow says
Actually I think I’m in the minority but I think I’d prefer a half post… it gives enough of a taster to want to read more and then you need to click into the link to go to the blog and read the rest. If I’m not on the blog, then I’m less likely to post a comment which seems unfair to you, who takes the time to write the post. Hope that helps! Celine
Kathy B. says
Full post, please.
Niconick says
My preference is also for full post. Thanks.
Tammy Joyce says
I’ll put it to you like this. Whatever is most convenient for you. Because u have so much your doing anyway. So make it easy for yourself. I am happy either way.
Sheri K says
I think to comment you need to actually go to the post itself–so I think half post is ok too. I end up going to the website anyway to post, especially if there is a giveaway or an opinion asked.
Torrie says
I would like the whole post for easier viewing on my mobile devices. Love the new look.
Michele says
I would love the full post too!
Amy Donohue says
Full post please. But if I like what I am reading I will do as many clicks as needed to get to all the content! THANKS for asking!!
Shirley says
I too would love the full post if possible.
Jasmine Patrick says
Hi there, I follow you on bloglovin plus I do hope over to your blog, but I do like full posts on your e mail, I could not understand why half posts seem to be prevalent, always love to see your projects, they are always lovely, thanks for listening to your readers!!!
Winnie says
Hi! Love the new look of your blog! Very mod and clean. I like the whole post, but either way works for me as I click and comment often anyway.
Linda J says
Full post makes it less clicking, but either way I will be happy.:)
Lisa (ThePurplePlace) says
NO worries! I would LOVE to see the whole post at some time, but NO rush! You can email it to me at Purple_Place@verizon.net — But again, if you are crazy busy, I can wait.
Plus, I totally understand about new blogs or pretty much changing to anything new….I recently bought my first iPhone and I LOVE it, of course, but lost a lot of my “contacts” somehow and that is my “to be fixed” thing at the moment. I know you’ll quickly figure this out and then we will ALL see your beautiful projects again!!
Hugs and Happiness,
Lisa
PS: I am LOVING Watercolor class and looking forward to your debut…
Carmen says
Full post please!
Cheryl C. says
Definitely full post! =)
Felicia Aaron says
Hope the kinks get worked out….arrrgghhh! LOL!! I think the consensus is FULL post! We love your blog!
KellyRae says
Liking the new look of your blog. I prefer full posts (with photos) – it’s just easier and quicker to read. Sometimes I’m [cough] sneaking [cough] reading at work, and I like to save your posts for longer reads at home.
Jenn Morrill says
I like to receive the full post. Love your color schemes!
MoJo says
Definitely the full post. Busy lives and all that.
Dottie J says
I really don’t have a strong preference… I just enjoy seeing your projects.
Saundra says
I appreciate getting the full post in the email.
Anne V says
Full posts, please. It save a step of going to the blog to read all of it. If the full post is in the email, I can be sure to read it all, and not get sidelined by other things online.
Donna McMillin says
I would like the full post please. I really like new website.
Wendy Gould says
It doesn’t really matter to me, I always click through to your blog, even when on my phone. I can see the pictures better that way. 🙂
Chiara T. says
Full post is better for me. Thanks
Cindy Berquist says
I almost said half post, and realized that I’d love full post to view on phone or iPad.
Thank you for asking!
JanLee says
Full post please! Much more convenient! Thanks
Chris Archuleta says
Well I don’t use my phone for much so my idea of partial is kind of mute considering most do use their phones… I would have to stand by the majority of what is wanted. That being said, I am new to your site, and love all that you do and share. TY
Jan M. says
The full post please. 🙂
Jane says
I follow you thru feedly but just to weight in there are some posts I get from other sties that are not full and sometimes I click through to the entire post and sometimes I don’t. I like to see the entire post.
Tricia says
I would love the full post!
Angelina says
Love to open your mail and see your beautiful creations!!
Full posts please! Thanks a lot! Have a great day!
Cindi L. says
I prefer the full post. If I’m pressed for time – and who isn’t? – I’m more likely to read the post if it’s all in the email. If it’s not I will usually keep going through email with the best of intentions to come back and check the post when I have time, but I don’t always get around to it.
Donna Silber says
Full Post would be great!
Joan VanCourt says
Full post, please. I don’t want to miss anything. Thanks and have a great day.

Cathy P in AZ says
I don’t mind either but I see full post is getting the most votes, so I will side with the majority! Love the new blog no matter what! 🙂
Katie B. says
I would go with whatever the majority is on this matter as I go to your blog from the email. I would prefer if I could see the full post on the blog though and not have to keep middle clicking the more info link… And I may start viewing via feedly…I need to find a more efficient way to look at all of my favorite blogs. Thanks for asking us. 🙂
Katie B.
Dedra Wolff says
Full post.
leslie says
I read you in Feedly, but I prefer full posts. I don’t like having to click through to read the rest.

Sallee P. says
Full post, please!
And by the way, I also like it when I can follow the link to post a comment directly from inside the email. I’m much more likely to do so if that’s the case 🙂
Alanna P. says
I prefer the full post in my e-mails. It saves that extra step when I’m in a hurry and therefore I’d be more likely to make time for reading the new post. Thanks for asking your readers for their opinions on this, and for the chance to win!
cath t says
Full post, if you can.
Alanna P. says
I prefer the full post, as it saves me a step when I’m in a hurry, and therefore, makes it more likely that I’ll keep up on all the new posts. Thanks for asking our opinions and for the chance to win!
Alanna
Cindy Daversa says
I like the half post, because it’s fun to anticipate what the rest will be!
Sue Scripture says
I go along with the majority vote and for the same reasons. I read a lot of blogs to get inspiration (or maybe just to waste time, ahem) but the extra clicking does mean that when I run out of time and energy I delete the double click ones and I’d hate to miss out on yours. Thanks for all the inspiration you’ve given me.
Kimberly Eddy says
Hey Kathy!! Full post is wonderful!! If you did half I’d still click to continue reading, but full would be appreciated!! Hugs!!!
Patti K says
I would cast my vote for the full email.
Shawn Wenrich says
I would appreciate the full post if possible.
Jessica S. says
I would prefer to see the whole post in my e-mail. It’s just my preference. If it’s not all there I will go to your blog to read the post because I don’t want to miss your posts. I really enjoy your blog posts.
Debi says
Full post please!
Patricia B says
Kathy, I love your blog, so half or full post doesn’t matter to me. I view on a laptop. So maybe one day if I ever get a “smart” phone or a tablet, my answer might change….lol Whatever you do, I’m here! Love ya’
Rebecca Ednie says
I prefer to get the whole post in the emails.
Sophia says
Full post
Patti says
Full post, please!
Mary Beth Stull says
Yes, I’d love if you could put through full post in the email. Love your work btw.
CindyK says
It really doesn’t matter to me. If I see a half post, and really interested in the content, I will leave a comment, and to do that I would need to go to your site to do that anyway. The full post would be a plus, but again, to leave a comment I would still need to go directly to your site.
Like the new look BTW!
TracyT says
I don’t mind either. I like having to click over to your blog it gives me more stuff to look and review ideas you have shared and give me more inspiration. Whatever you do is great I just love seeing all of your posts!!!
Shelle Robinson says
I’d love to have the full post in my email just to save time, but at the end of the day, I really don’t mind.. I visit your blog regularly anyway 🙂
donna mikasa says
I would like to receive half a post and be drawn in to your blog for the rest of the post! 😉
Vithya says
Love the new look. I like to read it in full.
Shona Chambers says
To be honest I quite like getting the full post. Makes it easier for me to go thru all my blog update emails to see what everyone is up to and save the ones I really want to concentrate on later in the day. I only receive one blog post email that gives you the first few lines of the post and honestly if I can’t see anything relevant in those few words, I won’t bother to go to the blog.
Leanne S says
Full post please.
Mary Hurt says
I prefer the full post. Thanks for asking our opinion.
Kandi says
Full post please
Paulette S. says
Hi Kathy!! I have been following you for a long time. I can go either way. I do not mind to click over to your blog for the second half of the post. I LOVE getting my subscriptions in my email box, because I don’t have to go looking for content, it’s delivered right to me and I can read it when I catch a minute here and there. If I’m going to comment, I have to click over anyway. For some, it might depend on how things show up on their mobile things? I view my content on ipad, but I know a lot of the younger crafters view from a phone. Food for thought. So maybe less is more as long as your blog is phone friendly for viewing too. I’m getting too old for some of the techie stuff, but I just noticed something on my blog that I could click to make it more ios or mobile friendly for viewing. HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY, my sweet blog friend. xo

Hi Kathy. I love to catch up on you’re posts, but I must admit I prefer to get the whole post on my email. It makes it so much easier to quickly see what’s up.

Half posts are fine, To get more info it’s no big deal to come to the site itself.

I am on the side of full post please. When I receive a blog post email that has only a partial post, I rarely will click on it go to to the website to read the entire thing, especially when my mailbox is full. Another thing that is nice is when the blog title comes through as the sender, rather than just part of the post. Thanks for asking. It’s a wonderful blog.
