Hello Friends, Welcome to The Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop. To start at the beginning of the hop click here. I created three entirely different projects using the beautiful & practical new steel cut dies. The stitching lines that boarder the dies gives any project an elegant feel 🙂 Did I mention sequins? Pretty Pink Posh has just about every color imaginable and in different shades too.
Below is a raw, uncut, unedited video on how I created my shaker tags….so be forgiving please. Â I wanted the tags without any sentiments so I can use them to brighten up a bottle of wine for a friend, throw on a goodie bag or some macroons, or even a card.
I wanted to share a photo so you could see that the background on the tags is cut paper in delicious solid colors. See the supply list for link and exact colors 🙂
For the card below I turned my die sideways and created lots of layers with patterned and white paper.
The paper called, “Snow Day” is from Lawn Fawn. I love the simple but, festive patterns. Â The sentiment is from Paper Smooches called, “Christmas Words”.
Why not use a Halloween-ish image for a Birthday card especially for a little one. I used 3 of PPP dies on this card. The “Stitched Boarders 2” I used on the grass. The oval with the sentiment is one of the new goodies called, Â “Stitched Tags”. To cut the card shape I used “Stitched Duo”. I always love a stenciled background especially one that’s called.”Festive Chevron“! (The image is from Tiddly Inks.

Hi Kathy, I just really LOVE your pink card with the boarder dies. It is just gorgeous! I think the pink and the white just makes it look so so pretty. I also really enjoyed your watching your video on how you have made your tags. Great colors as well and I truly love seeing the sequins inside them. Really cute idea and with the stitch from the dies it makes it look like you did stitch them down. As for using Halloween stamps for a child’s birthday card, well I don’t know why I haven’t been doing that for my nephews all this time! It is just a great idea and it makes it all the more fun. LOVE IT! Hugs Lisa G

Love your sweet shaker tags!
Hola, Kathy! Oh, you always have great projects. I love tags for some reason, but what I really liked about your tags was how beautifully arranged your ribbons are. So pretty! Ribbons and I fight a lot. (ha,ha) I am having a great week. Remember the injury that I told you about that I have had for a year now on my leg– from the shaving accident? Thanks be to God that it has finally started to move and get smaller. Oh my gosh, Kathy, it has been a long and painful year, but finally things are getting better for me. I am just excited to share my news with anyone and everyone! Anyway, your projects always give me hope. Thanks and have a great week! Your friend in San Antonio, Texas GO SPURS GO!
So happy to hear your news Marisela!! Just had to let you know 🙂
What fun and colorful projects! I especially love those great shaker tags!
The little tags would be a good way to use up scraps. As you said – leave them unadorned and then put a sentiment on as you need them. Great to be prepared.
Love the card with the cut running top to bottom. Lots of depth to the card.
