    Like your heat embossing. I first learned to do embossing using a stylus & light box. Then along came embossing folders. I enjoy heat embossing & watching the embossing powder melt.

    Super cool kit, and awesome card, as well! Thanks for a chance at this giveaway! I have a question, the other day I was embossing using Ranger’s white embossing powder on Bazzill cardstock, and when I was done a part of the embossing powder disappeared, and only the colour left by the Versamark was left! Would that be because I over heated it?

      Hi Dima, I think that you probably didn’t ink your stamp up on that part of the surface so the embossing powder didn’t stick 🙂

        Haha yes I did consider that 😀 But I was able to see the versamark ink on the cardstock because it was pink cardstock, and it got darker when I stamped it. I thought it was very odd, but I was able to restamp it and add more powder and heat it again 😛

    The silver embossing powder really pops on the navy card stock. Beautiful card! I love the little banner peeking out of the circle.

    Thanks for the video I love the magic of embossing too. If you twist your quickstick more “goop” will come out the tip. 😉

    Great colour contrast with the darker blue! I still love the “magic” of watching the powder turn to shine when I heat emboss.

    Another way to make the quikstick work: i leave the lid on..then turn the lid to make the goop come out…make sense? Also..pull the poibty stick out from the stick…you can use that to take the sequin off the stick and push it onto the paper..i learned that from watching kristina werner…kind of like surgery! I hope tjis makes sense….

    Hi Kathy!! I totally LOVE that you are doing videos on your new blog. This is a fun kit! I love how you used the stitched circle all over the face of this card. Embossing is fun, I think I may do some for my Christmas cards. I love my Quik-Stik, but it does get gunked up from the fibers in card stock. Just twist that bulky part of the pen that looks like a hex nut and more sticky poster clay will come out the very tip top. It is a slow tough twist because the clay is cool. Happy ThanksGiving, Kathy!

    I liked watching your creative process, I’ve been making cards and that quicker picker didn’t want to stick anymore till I pushed more putty out by twisting. It’s the glue making the putty not work anymore. Such an adorable card!

    I love the card. It’s pretty and funky. I love the circle stamp. A tip for your quick stick, just turn the top a little so some of the sticky stuff comes out and pinch it off with your finger nail. It will be like new.
