I just wanted to share a little tip. The jumbo poinsettia wasn’t fitting perfectly on my card base with the “Christmas Blessings” sentiment so I cut off one leaf and one petal just above the “B” and was able to arrange the flower and pop it for more dimension. Hope that makes sense 🙂
I stamped the outline in Gathered Twigs used these watercolors to “color” my image. Then I used wink of stella and white gel accents on the tips of the petals.
I wanted to watercolor one more poinsettia for you with only one color on the petals (red) and I stamped the flower in a pink distress instead of brown. What’s your preference? I feel like it’s not finished but, wanted to share with you…stay tuned 🙂 My next post will be some watercolor leaves. Thanks so much for your visit today 🙂
NEXT ON THE HOP IS the oh so talented SANDY ALLNOCK.

So pretty! I’m always amazed how any kind of crafting can look like a hot mess at the beginning and turn into such gorgeousness at the end. lol I’m always afraid of the hot mess part myself, so I tend to “play it safe.” But I really need to just take a breath and jump in — it’s only paper, right? Thanks for giving me some courage!
The hot mess part made me laugh… yes it was a hot mess. Best of luck with that 🙂
