Hello Friends, How are you today? Are most of you experiencing spring in your part of the world? Nothing better right 🙂 Today I am popping in for a quick post with a double layered stencil card.
I love this doily stencil from Tim Holtz. The darker distress inks like Seedless Preserves are so rich in color and are perfect for the first layer of my card.
Now I am adding this stencil once (for my second layer) and then I will move the same stencil and ink it up again with some Worn Lipstick. Die cut the “Big Hello” a few times, glue them all together and adhere to your card. Here is another card with layered stencils in this post.
Doubling up your stencils is a fun way to make a quick card. I have two more quick cars in my next post.
I wanted to thank you all for your sweet and kind comments on my wrap up post for the 30 day color challenge. I will be answering the comments soon. Thank You all for shining light on me. Hugs, Kathy

Hi Kathy, here on Crete, we’re seeing the signs of early summer. I have just completed a large job and I will probably be spending a large part of the afternoon enjoying the sun on my terrace. Love the effect of these double layers, and I can always use ideas for quick cards (who doesn’t?). Also love the colours. I recently bought Seedless preserves, which I discovered I didn’t have yet, since it was originally part of one of the seasonal sets.

I like the idea of using 2 stencils to create a background. I need to get my stencils out and get started. I love your card. That doily stencil makes a beautiful background. And the interest added by using the second one is really nice. Great design…TFS

I like the layers, I like my sentiment to stand out a little more. I think the hello done solid in one of the colors would be more to my taste. Interesting though! Thanks for sharing!
