Hello Friends! Welcome to DAY 2 of The 30 Day Coloring Challenge. I am so excited to bring you a Blog Hop featuring the talented artists, guest artists & friends that taught in OCC’s Copic Class for Card Makers. I know that each designer will wow you today with their talent … that was my plan to give you all a huge hit of inspiration for day 2.
Not only will you get inspired but, today I have some special coupon code from OnLine Card Classes & a sweet giveaway at the bottom of my post! To start at the beginning of the hop click here.
Typically I work with bright colors so today I was going for something out of the box with this floral stamp from Penny Black called, “Divine” It’s a super easy stamp to color especially if you are going for the “no line” look. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp and inked up in “Fog Grey” to complete the softer look on my card. (not an easy feat for me)
To watch the video in HD click here or in case you might want to subscribe to my You Tube Channel click here 🙂
Go here to read more about the 30 Day Coloring Challenge and if you want to share what your creating go to Day 1 and scroll to the bottom of the post. You will find a blue Inlinkz tab to link up your coloring.
Below is the hop line up in case you come across a broken link. Please take the time to give some love to my friends. They are so busy and just wanted to support me and to inspire you today.

Hello Kathy. Great soft colors on this card.
Had to pin this one. The flowers are soooo pretty!
Lovely cards! And thanks for the blog hop. It is always great to see the super stars of crafting in action!
Beautiful card. Thanks very much for a chance to win. Michelle t
Stunning creation, Kathy. Wish I had time right now to watch the video and visit your OCC friends. The Copics class is awesome, even if you own a different brand of alcohol markers, but I’m starting to believe that Copics are in a league of their own, especially since they offer ultra light hues.
Marianne x
The video will always be accessible from my blog so when you find the time for you please stop by. 🙂
Gorgeous card, and thanks for a chance to win a spot in that class! Would love to take it!
So happy I found you on instagram and now your blog. LOVE how you have inspired me to color something each day.
Welcome, Sherry. Keep following the fun. I’m so glad you taking time to do something fun for yourself. 🙂
Thanks for the fab video and the chance to win a place in the class. Your card is gorgeous! I’m off to see what the other super stars have done.
Hi Kathy! Lovely card! Colors are so pretty! Enjoying this 30 day color challenge!
I love that card – especially the colors – BIG fan of purple!
Hello! So excited that I completed day one of the challenge, and have my supplies ready to go for the next couple of days.
You go girl. I’m so happy to hear you are making time for yourself. 🙂
This is a great prize! I always wanted to take that class.
Loved the No line tutorial Kathy! TFS You’re flowers turned out GORGEOUS!!
The copic class is one of the few I have not taken over at OCC, because I think I had ten copics at the time, I have since bought some Spectrum Noirs (dark Set) which I have not played with since it is spring/summer and I’m not in that frame of mind. I always regretted not taking the class though….I have a feeling it would have set me up for buying a few copics to build a small stash effectively. 😀
oh and Hello! 😀
I hope you win one of the 3 spots I’m giving away for the OCC Copics. You can always purchase and take any of their previous classes. That’s the beauty of these classes. Once you purchase a class you always have access. You can even download the classes on your IPad and take them anywhere.
Soft and absolutely lovely, Kathy!
Great inspiration here!! Thanks so very much for sharing!
Thanks for this almost mixed media tutorial with Copics, Kathy. It’s been really informtive for me. I was surprised to see that you color over colored pencils with your Copics. I always thought this would contaminate the markers!?
When I use Copics and colored pencils I haven’t had a problem. It’s not something I do all the time and it’s usually a small area. Please cautious with any Distress product. 🙂
Hello 🙂 Such a soft and pretty card!
Looking forward to another great 30 days. 😉
Kathy, this is just a breathtaking card — such exquisite coloring with such softness. LOVE it!
Beautiful card! Love the soft colors . Thanks for the lovely tutorial 🙂

Hello, thanks for the opportunity. i love this challenge and coloring.
super cute, i use the palette blending method a lot as i don;t have a lot of colours (yet)
Hello, I am in love with this color combo, it would make an awesome Sympathy Card. Your 30 day Color Challenge couldn’t have come at a better time, I have the entire set of Spectrum Noir Pens, a good number of Copics and have not colored in sooooo long. It is time to start. TFS your talents, discount code and chance to win the OCC Class, I wanted to take this class and many more of their classes, but putting my youngest through med school makes “extra’s difficult” Good luck Everyone.
Thank you for the hop–the coloring is so inspiring–I’ll have to get started now! And thanks for the chance to win the Copic class.
I may not be able to color every day, but I am going to try to use this month of fun to practice a lot more! You are so inspiring!

This card is simply stunning! I love that you used so few copic colors and blended away! Also you showed us what to do about the stems stamping in light pink. Thank you for your beautiful coloring and sharing with us.
So inspiring and encouraging! Thank you!! Now I’m off to color!

Hello Kathy! Thanks for a great hop! Your card is fabulous. I enjoyed your tutorial. I can always use some help with the no line technique. I’ve had trouble with it in the past. I will keep trying though. Thanks for a chance to win.

Loving this challenge idea! Thanks for the sharing the lovely card. 🙂
Now that I’ve posted a hello for a chance to win a fabulous class, question. My signature while gel pen NEVER EVER comes out very good at all. So of course I bought another one, same thing. Then I saw this tip so I went out and bought a fresh new one to give it a whirl, guess what? SAME THING! OMGosh what am I Doing WRONG?
Pat,
I’m sorry your white gel pens are giving you a hard time. I do think it is the pen and not you. I haven’t had a problem getting the white gel pen to work they way I showed it on the video. Take the pen back and see if they’ll let you test it before you leave the store. Sorry but please have fun for you. 🙂
Signa Gel Pen. Auto correct from 1st message. Sorry. TY4S
You are the “queen” of copics! I love your work.
Beautiful flowers! I’m loving this chance to see more gorgeous coloring for all the participants – awesome.
Hello, Kathy! Thank you for this chance to win! Love your card!
Hello! Love this.

Love watching/reading about your coloring techniques! Thanks for sharing your talent with all of us!
I’m so excited to play along this time! I discovered your challenge about halfway through last time, but wasn’t doing much coloring. You’ve truly inspired me to add more color to my life!
Welcome, Rachel to the coloring fun. It’s never to late to find time for you. Color like no one is watching. 🙂
HI HO Campers! Great card Kathy!
Beautiful card!! I tried to do the gray outline with copies one time but it didn’t turn out so well. I’m certain it was because it was on watercolor paper. The lines didn’t blend out too well. I’ll have to try it again on typical copic paper. Thanks for a beautiful card and a wonderful video and a fun giveaway!!
Robin, You will have success on copic paper especially if you use a light gray and a medium gray plus your blender. Sometimes it might take several layers till the colors soften to your liking. This step is worth it. It helps your image pop and have dimension. Have fun.
Hi Kathy. Just discovered your blog and I LOVE it!
Fabulous Bev! Welcome! Have fun learning and coloring. This for you to enjoy.
Stunning effect you created with the colours…very very pretty.
I just bought this PB stamp, so now I’m itching it pull it out and ink it up. Thanks for the inspiration! And thanks for the class giveaway. I use a different brand of alcohol markers, but I’d love to learn how to use them better! Now on to do some coloring for day 2!

The OCC Copic class covers so many aspects of copics and you have access to this class forever. I’m biased but the OCC classes are a wealth of knowledge and hours of entertainment at a very reasonable cost. Have fun.
I love the simplicity of this colouring , Copics I’ve been collecting and playing with my copics. These type of stamps would be excellent practice.Blessings

Hi Kathy,
How beautiful! I love the butterfly and the flower. Love the soft colors.
Thanks for a chance to win the give away.
Hello. I dearly love watching people color.
I had an appointment the other day and I always take my journal and/or coloring tools. My cab driver seen them and asked about them can you believe I think she was way younger than me and she had the nerve to say that she thought she was too old to color.
I just about died. Not to mention after that comment I didn’t want to tip her. Haha. Yes of course I did. Next time I’ll hand her a box of crayons for a tip and let her know your never too old to enjoy coloring a good image or two.
Like your attitude. How about a coloring book and tell her to smell the crayons? Doing something special for yourself should always make you feel young and alive. Coloring certainly does that for me.
Thank you! Beautiful card.
Beautiful colours and colouring. Loved blog hopping today
This is so pretty! I love the soft colors and the mix of markers and pencil.
Winning a spot to any class the ladies teach would be awesome. But this one would be super special. Thanks Kathy and you always inspire me.
Loved the video Kathy. Looking forward to the month of colouring. Actually this is a great time of year to do this. After the long winter, who wouldn’t want to just sit outside in the sun/shade and relax while colouring? (Its right up my alley! LOL)
Kathy! I am so glad that I am part of this challenge! Thank you for taking time to share your talent! You totally ROCK!!!
Your card is so pretty! Love how you colored it so softly.

Welcome, Nina-Marie. I’m thrilled you found my challenge. Have fun doing this. It’s all about you.
Hello Kathy, your card is gorgeous. Such pretty colors!
Awesome card. Love the effect and it certainly looks like it is 3D or raised. I have never, yes never used Copic markers, but you girls make it look so easy I just might have to break out of my comfort zone and experiment.
Go for it. Doing something fun for yourself is always a good thing.
Oh, my word! This card is just stunning!! Wow!!
Beautiful soft colours on the card! Thanks for the blog hop too. I love checking out new blogs and arty stuff 🙂

Hello! I just love your coloring videos!
Love the challenge and all the inspiration it brings. Thank you for all your efforts!
That was a great class! I hadn’t really done any Copic coloring before taking the class, and I learned a ton. In fact, probably time to go back and re-watch some of lessons for a refresher. That was a loaded class!
The videos will always be there for inspiration and experimenting with new techniques.
Have fun because this is for you.

Kathy…so far on Day 2, the hop ’twas fun. I am coloring each day. Yesterday, I received my Specteum Noir Aqua water markers and made a card. It turned out really ice. I’m beginning to feel like an artist…thanks to you and the artists already that are.
Fun blog hop! And beautiful card
I’ve seen thousands of flowers colored and this is truly the most beautiful. I couldn’t catch the grey colors you used. Could you post them. Thanks so much. Beautiful job.
Sorry for the delay getting back to you. The grays I uses were COO a cool gray and W3 a warm gray but feel free to experiment with other grays. So glad you are having fun.
I love the softness of this card Kathy. So sweet of you to offer some spots in the class. You’re just full of inspiration.
Hugs
Dana

Lovely coloring! I am checking in each night. One of these nights going to have time to play too! Thanks for doing this again. I love watching your videos!
BTW – took the On-Line Copics Card Class an it was awesome. I highly recommend it. I was on the fence for so long about investing in Copics and to be honest did not even own a Copic when I signed up for the class. This class helped me make wise buying decisions and made me much more comfortable using the markers once I did start purchasing them.
These flowers are stunning! Thanks so much for the awesome video!
Lovely card!! Your flowers are amazing!!!
Wow…. First time I came across your videos and I must say I loved watching your shading of the flowers . I have another of PB’s flower stamp and you have given me some insight on how to shade it . Hello & I’m now following you on YouTube
I’m thrilled you found The Daily Marker. Enjoy the journey of coloring. This is for you.

Hello Kathy, your work is so inspiring. I look forward to your next project.
Thanks for all of your tips in your video. I may give this a try, but your flowers came out beautiful! I wanted to take the Copic class, but skipped it since I’m still intimidated by Copic coloring. Loving your challenge!
Hello Kathy! I am loving the 30 day!
Lovely video on using Copic markers to color the flower. Thanks for the instruction.
Oooohhh….Oooohhhh! Hello!!!! Lol. I am loving the colouring experts in the blog hop. It is so exciting to see such wonderful talent – and all in the comfort of my own home! Myself and my two children (7yo girl & 8yo boy) colour in nearly every day. I recently saved up enough money to purchase a few copics so that my kids and I could experiment with some proper professional pens – so far so good, but we really need to do a class – I would love to win a spot in the copic colouring class – thank you!
I am thrilled this is a family affair of fun coloring.
i realize i didnt leave a comment on this one LOL – too busy hopping and reading and listening to videos (yes…. listened while i worked…. yesterday was crazy) – anyway this flower card is just gorgeous. i’d love to see it in real life. Just another thank you for doing the videos, arranging all these coupons etc and the hop – sooo much fun for all us coloring kids.
what a fabulous talented hop!! =)

What a great idea to put the blending color onto the palette. Thanks. I like how this turned out. I don’t do pastels easily either.

IT’s all about spirit. The videos and blog posts will always be there for you to explore. You will need time to yourself after moving. Good luck.
Absolutely beautiful!!! Loving this 30 day challenge
This is a very pretty card and I love the colors. I have always loved to color, however, what we color with today is so different from when I was young and coloring. Thanks for sharing.

I would love to win a spot in the class. I have the Copics and took a fast class at the store when I bought them but I know there are a lot of tricks that wasn’t covered in that class.

Hello. 🙂 Your coloring is SO beautiful!
What a gorgeous image, Kathy, and amazing coloring! Thank you for inspiring me!
Beautiful coloring! Would love the change to win a spot! Thanks.
Hello Kathy, I love watching your videos and have loved to color since I was in grade school. Copics really satisfiy that desire. Thanks for the chance to win a spot!
Hello Kathy. Great ideas today. Looking forward to the whole month with you!
Hi – Great card today.
Hello, Kathy. Okay, I am hooked! I loved your video today and can’t wait to give coloring like this a try. I would soooo love to win a seat in the class! Thanks for sharing.
Hello, Kathy! I’m enjoying your challenge once again. Beautiful colors on this card today. Thanks for all this great inspiration
This is a subtle look from you, Kathy, but it is so pretty! I think the flowers (not the sentiment!) would make a nice sympathy card. I love your natural BOLD look!
Thank you for the chance to win an Online Class : )
I agree. The softer colors are soothing for a sympathy card. Thank you.
Another really gorgeous card, Kathy! I love how you colored these flowers, and feel inspired to give it a try…Thanks for a fun blog hop and all the links and coupons 🙂
Hi Kathy,
Love your card but I’m a little confused on the class. I took a class called Copics for Card makers earlier this year from their site….is there another class? I didn’t see it on their website.
Thanks.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful card. I have been thinking of buying the Penny Black stamp for some time and now I know I REALLY need IT!!! I do have a question for you. I had read or heard that you should not use a copic after you had colored with a colored pencil because it could ruin your copic marker. Is that a false statement because yours was beautiful.
I haven’t had any trouble with copics and colored pencils.I did small areas on this card. If I did larger areas I would do copic first than add pencil where I wanted to shade or highlight. I wouldn’t do anything distress with copics.
Beautiful colors on the card. Thanks for the opportunity to win a discount to the OCC. Have a great day.
I enjoy your first 30 days coloring and this second time is just great. Thanks
Hi there!! What a beautiful card!
Gorgeous! You are a true artist.

Hello !! Love the card and the coloring. Thanks for enabling with the discount.
Gorgeous Card! Stinken amazing coloring!!
Wow beyond gorgeous
Hello Kathy Thanks for the inspiration and the chance to win
Your card is lovely and it’s exciting to see your talent! Thank you for offering 3 spots in the class for those of us who could not otherwise attend. Even though the cost of your class is beyond reasonable sometimes circumstances of life have a way of reminding us that indeed, “everything is relative”. Regardless, I so enjoy your blog and learning from you. Thank you!
Hello Kathy!!!!!!, I could just watch you color for hours!! I love your style and technique of coloring!!
your card is absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous!!
Great challenge. Love all the coloring I am seeing and now I am trying it. Thanks1
You have an amazing talent, I love this challenge!!
the card is stunning, and best of all you make it look so easy.
Thanks Mary you are so kind. I hoenstly believe it’s easier to watercolor when NOT using an embossed image.:) Which do you typically do with or without embossing?
have never been successful with watercolouring…but having watched a few video’s now use embossing. Once I have enough experience and confidence will try again without…..
Always did love to color…thanks for the opportunity to take another Online Card Class!
WOW! Your flowers are absolutely stunning! I wish I had a fraction of your talents! Thank you so much for sharing!
Shut the front door! I love it. Wow! This card was amazing. I am going to have to try this. It’s so beautiful with such light colors. Thank you for a chance to win.
lol thanks Pamela!!
As I don’t own Copic markers, please don’t include me in the raffle, just wanted to let you know I enjoyed the hop very much, awesome projects. TFS

Hello from Michigan.
Hi! I’ve never tried no line colouring. Guess there’s no time the present to try it out now. Thanks for making the process so clear and easy to follow.
Go for it! Color like no one is watching. Just have fun. 🙂
Lovely card! Just realized I bookmarked the first days post and couldn’t figure out why there wasn’t any more ! LOL duh. going to try again!
I love the card and your very good videos. Even though I am topic certified, I love the classes. Thanks so much.
Thank you for providing inspiration to arts & craft lovers! I just discovered your blog today because of the blog hop from Kristina Werner’s blog. I just recently purchased a few Copic markers & am very interested in learning to use them correctly, especially for card making. Thanks again & keep up the hard work!
Hi Amy and a warm welcome to you. I am so happy that you discovered me through the inspiring and wonderful Kristina. Wishing you luck to win a spot. 😉

Hello Kathy. Beautiful card.
Love the card. Thanks for the chance to win the class. I’m signing up no matter what!!
I absolutely love your coloring challenges. I do try to get something in the works every day, but sometimes I drop the ball. The soft colors of your card are so beautifully done. I keep trying the no line look, but never quite succeed. I need to practice more. Thanks for a great blog and the chance to win.
GORGEOUS!!!
Copics are on my “one-day” list, I have so much to learn about stamping, watercolour pencils & distress inks before I move on to them => please don’t include me in the giveaway.
Hi! I just found your blog and I am so impressed with your beautiful coloring and the way you talk us through it so we can all try. So far I’ve watched day 1 and 2 and my pan is to catch up! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful talent.
