Day 29. Colored Pencils & Giveaway

Today’s stamp is from Honey Bee and it’s pretty awesome. The stamp has NOT been released yet but, Melissa let me play with it anyway. I feel pretty lucky. Get this … the image is only part of the stamp so you might want to register for Honey Bee’s blog feed so you don’t miss anything.

I stamped the image with Simon’s white ink, trimmed the image down and colored it with pencils.

When my coloring was complete I used this “Friend” die cut from Simon Says Stamp. Popped it with some die cut purple foam and attached it to my card panel. I added some white dots with my trusty gel marker.

I’m sorry I haven’t kept up with the challenge as well as I should have, but I’ve decided I’m going to continue the challenge for myself and fill in the blanks on my two blog posts. By the way, I haven’t been making cards, but water coloring pages from a Gratitude coloring book I picked up at Half-Price books.     Kathy, this may be a dumb question but, if the image was embossed with versa mark and white embossing powder would you have to be concerned about coloring on the white? You said you used part of the image…how big is it? I love this BTW.
