Backgrounds with Zig Markers & Giveaway

Hello Friends, Welcome to Simon Says Stamp Blog Hop to celebrate the new release called, “One of a Kind”. Simon does it again with another exciting release L.O.V.E. it!  Check out the full release here.

To start at the beginning of the hop click here. If you are arriving from Debby Hughes blog (one of my favorite stampers) you are in the right place…. Today I have two cards and a video to share with you plus a giveaway! Woo hoo!

For both my cards I used the beautiful flower stamp set called, “Bouquet of Thanks“. I inked the stamps up with some VersaFine Black Ink & stamped them on Tim Holtz watercolor paper. It’s amazing the range of color you can get with six Zig markers.

The sentiment was stamped on white cardstock . I trimmed the ends into a banner & glued the banner on some black cardstock. A little foam tape on the back and some twine  and that’s it.

My second card was created the same way except with a few water splashes.

    Your cards are so pretty! The purple and orange together are amazing. My watercolor paper always ends up too wet (I think) because it always starts to peel up the top layer of paper and then it’s ruined. I’ll keep trying because I love how it looks painted! TFS!

    Love flowers and this release is just gorgeous. New to Zig Markers and only have a few but they are gorgeous. Love the bright colors of your card and the video is super.
