Hello Friends! How was your weekend? Did you get some good coloring time in? Ahhh finally I had time to sit down and putz over some images.
Since the coloring challenge started I really haven’t had time to do this so I am a happy girl.
I combined two of the Mama Elephant stamps sets. The sweet soaring girl is from “She’s so lovely” and they are such happy & adorable images. The flower is from “Pretty Lovely” and I have been itching to stamp it.
I stamped everything with Inkon3 … always let the ink dry first.
First I painted the background and then the flower. The stem was elongated easily. I wanted it to appear that she’s going to land into the flower and I hope I was able to convey that.
I totally messed up the hair so I made a wig and glued it on the girl. My lighting wasn’t good tonight so I added hair where there wasn’t therefore, my wig doesn’t fit perfectly. That’s ok!
I went a little crazy on the nook and cranny action lol but, it was so refreshing to finally find some real “ME” time.
The giveaways will start up this week and I am loving every single thing you all are sharing. See you tomorrow. Hugs, Kathy

This piece is so creative. I love how you pant the background first. The long flower and sentiment up the side is perfect. I think sometimes stems are too short and I have drawn them longer. The girl is perfect and great way to use her. Stunning colors as always.
You’re coloring is so amazing Kathy! I love seeing what you color each day.
Great idea, now why didn’t I ever think of that.
This is fabulous!
What a fun image to work with.
Good thinking with the wig action Kathy, I might have turfed it rather than thinking about a cover up (in this case, a wig!) These images are wonderful and of course you coloured them beautifully. Love the depth your “nook & cranny action” gives, its really lovely.
Nothing wasted and a learning experience…ty for sharing love the wig
I love everything about this! And the wig totally cracks me up!!! 🙂 Since my hair never fully grew back after chemo, and is really falling out like crazy recently, we joke that it won’t be long now that I will be needing a wig. Maybe you can color me a rainbow assortment to choose from depending upon what I am wearing or my mood for the day? 😀 but really, your card is wonderful! Glad you were able to get some coloring time in.
you are very innovative and this colouring is amazing kathy
Wow love how you have done this Kathy, mind you, you do make it sound so bloody easy. I just….. really. I would love to think my watercolouring would come together so perfectly, had a wonderful weekend colouring thank you. xx Aileen
Oh so creative and beautiful. Your coloring is wonderful. Oh to have such talent! Thank you so much for sharing! Hugs!
Beautiful card, I love the way you have fixed the hair. Your hair copic coloring is stunning, I need to learn to color so nicely as you 🙂
love the composition of this sweet card – the wig is very creative:)
Love this one, so cute and wonderful! Thanks for sharing!
Kathy as always this is amazing! Love everything about this! She is just adorable swooping down to land on the flower! Glad you mentioned the wig tip !!! lol I’ve done the same thing before !! Xx
Great to hear you had finally some “ME” time, I had it also this weekend and did some fine colouring.
I love this gorgeous project and think it’s a huge tip to make a wig if you mess up the hair on your image, I never heard of it before! Thanks and see you tomorrow.
What a lovely card! I love the ethereal feel you brought with your coloring.
OMG! So funny that you posted this… it’s EXACTLY what I did yesterday! I made a Father’s day card and messed up my dad’s hair!
This is so cute!!! What a great idea to add a wig! 🙂 I am not sure I would have thought of that! Such a cute images together! Glad you were able to get some coloring time!
Beautiful card and some great ideas!
I love everything about your card, And especially love how you show that even a coloring expert can occasionally have to cover oopsies!
I also am going to CASE your use of the little white circles on my next mermaid card. I think they will work perfectly for an underwater scene!
Wig looks great.
thanks for sharing

This is so sweet! I love how it looks like the girl is diving into the flower. And her hair looks great 🙂
Love your coloring ! Love Mama Elephant stamps 🙂
Awesome card, Kathy! Your coloring talent never ceases to amaze me!
Make a wig! LOL! You u crack me up! She turned out so pretty and the whole piece is beautiful!
Gorgeous! And, I actually learned some things and that’s a good thing!
So cute. I like how you added a wig!
Gorgeous…love it
So beautiful, Kathy, I love the little “powder” that’s coming out of her hands – looks like a magical fairy! And great fix with the hair, too!
Wow this is simply gorgeous and I love the bubbles. Would have never noticed anything about the hair but such an awesome trick. Beautiful card!
Beautiful! The whole thing reminds me of “The Flower Fairies ” and “Butterfly Fairy” books I used to read my girls when they little. Now they’re too little for me to read to them, but they’re not too old too to color with me with their Copic markers and color pencils. As always, thank you for today’s post.
BEAUTIFUL, Kathy! I LOOOVE the way you create your cards! SO WHIMSICAL!!! We NEVER KNOW what you’re going to do next! LOL SUCH A FUN WAY to stamp! 😉 THANK YOU also for the win!!!! 😉 TOO FUN!!! Seems EVERYTHING is keeping me from this challenge this time! LOL BUT, I am PERSISTENT! 😉 SO GLAD you were persistent this weekend too, Kathy!!! 😉 SUCH GORGEOUS water coloring/ coloring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( I LOVE her “wig!”) 😉
Amazing coloring! Adorable images!!
Adorable image. Really enjoy your coloring each day!
Thanks for sharing…
I’ve messed up on coloring hair on my stamps girls that I’ve stamped just hair to practice
and ended up using the best one as a wig on my card! I know of this when you lose your hair you wear a scarfs / wig or nothing!! I don’t own copic markers so I try to match colors that I have doesn’t always work and ended up with little shade so I continue to practice coloring!!
Super card and great advice! Jo x
Wow!! I love this!!! I love all the little details you added and great tip for the “wig”
This Mama Elephant set is wonderful. Who doesn’t need a wig on those crazy hair days. Glad you found some Me time……
Everyone has a bad hair day – even cute stamped images. lol
I love all the nooks and crannies. Also we would never have known about the wig if you hadn’t said. I didn’t get a chance to colour today as my physio exhausted me. I’ll do some tomorrow though x
Your ‘putzing’ puts my coloring to shame, Kathy!! But, guess what? I’m enjoying every single second of it no matter what!!
This is so very special … and wonderful, too!
=]
I love your wig idea, what a great solution for a repair when you have already put in so much time on your project.
I love the helpful tips. I wouldn’t have thought to use a ‘wig’ to cover my mistakes. Your colouring is just fantastic.
Hi Kathy I just love this card. So you combine both water color and Copic that’s good to know for I like that Idea. I feel difficult to do the background sky and so on in copic .
1. Can you use watercolor paper with Copic?
2 What color in Copic did you use in the girls hear its beautiful Love it
This is too cute! I love the background and the colouring!
Kathy I love it!!! The little girl soaring into the flower is precious!
This is such a sweet scene.
Your card is beautiful and so creative.
I love this idea. And love these two stamp sets together too!
I am loving these images and your coloring is exceptional!
Hi Kathy,
Oh, I just love the little scene you have created!! It is so darling!
Your painting is awesome – love all the little white with black dots you made :o)
Oh my, what a beautiful design, she is so cute!
This is darling! Love how you combined the two stamps. Your coloring is amazing mistake and all. Love that you left it in and showed us the fix too! (Otherwise we would have had no idea. You seriously have mad skills!)
Hi, Kathy! I am enjoying the daily inspiration! I have coloured for the past two days and plan to do so again today. I’m colouring for 10-15 min and it is working for me. Thank you for inspiring me to colour again! Your wig is a clever fix! Have a great day!
I see your little girl swimming down to “sea” flower. Yeah, I know that makes no sense, but that’s what I see. I love it. The background is so well done.
This is adorable and I love that you call that a “wig.” Totally adorable card!!
This is such a lovely and gorgeous card !! I’d love to mess up things like you do !!

I love how you colored the flowers and the background. I also love how you made underwater bubbles. It looks like she is really breathing underwater and the flower is underwater. That is so cool! I am going to post more things that I have colored. I love being a part of your blog and wish we lived closer to each other so we could have fun coloring together.
This was so funny. We’ve all done stuff like that, good on ya for embracing it publicly! 🙂
