I was so busy being first to comment I forgot to comment on your colouring today, my bad. I love those rosy cheeks you got going today they look so perfect. Cant wait to see how the rest turns out.

Those images look fun and your coloring is great as always! Oooh that sounds interesting, I would love to participate but I know I am not even close to what you or some of the others do. You’re all so talented!.But one day…maybe :D. Still would love to participate.

Aren’t these such neat stamps?! I am off to check them out. 🙂 and your coloring is wonderful as always. these look like something I would enjoy painting, which is my medium of choice.
excited to see what tomorrow brings!
Jeanne says
The images are so neat and your coloring of them is looking fabulous so far. Those cheeks! Such talent. Interested to hear what you are planning. Not sure I’d be all that comfortable in a contest, but would need to know particulars before making a decision. It could be fun to stretch out of the comfort zone a little though. 🙂
Lynda Pleckan says
These are such sweet stamps! Your coloring really brings them to life, Kathy! As far as a coloring contest, I think it would be fun. Would there be a specific image, or anything goes….a specific medium?
Marianne says
Sweet images, Kathy, and great for colouring/practising rosy cheeks.
It will be interesting to see what you have planned for the colouring contest. It may be a great incentive to jump in, try and grow, although I realise many people may feel intimidated (myself included).

Those little people are adorable with their rosie cheeks!
I love the idea of a colouring contest … but I don’t know if I’d be brave enough to enter!!
Gabi says
Those stamps are adorable and yes, a competition sounds interesting
Barbara Lassiter says
The only person I compete with, in coloring, is myself to see if I can improve. Lol! The competition sounds fun, for those who like it, and I say go for it! I am currently coloring with colored pencils and if the piece turns out well , I’ll frame it.
Tara Prince says
Sounds like a fun competition!
Sheri K says
Amazing coloring again Kathy. I’m interested in the contest–but curious how to do the level playing field. Perhaps giving everyone the same image to color? Having different categories of mediums such as water color, Copics, colored pencil etc? I’ll be interested to see–and of course the time thing may be an issue, sometimes a deadline is difficult.
Tina Ricaurte says
Looks like I wouldn’t be the only one intimidated by a contest. I wonder if you could sponsor levels in the contest so more people would enter. Like a beginners (been coloring less than a month), intermediate (been coloring less than 6 months or a year) and advanced (more than a year). Or have a particular theme so if someone is specializing in a certain medium (like me) they can be a part of that contest. Just thinking maybe it’d be nice to not have it be too wide open. Just my 2 cents. It’ll be fun to watch and/or be a part of whatever you decide 🙂
M Strach says
This is adorable 🙂 I love rosy cheeks :)) I really love how you coloring
Teresa Doyle says
Super cute images and they look great so far. (Something I don’t own is actual people images. My colouring is no where near that realm. LOL)
A colouring contest sounds like fun however, just because I enjoy colouring, by no means means I am great at it. haha
Michele F says
Ink Blot and you? a perfect match, and I can’t wait to see these finished!
I’m with the majority commenting about the Contest – I’m not fantastic, but it’s fantastic nudging myself out of my comfort zone, and trying some new things… I have you to thank for that, Kathy! So YES I’m game for a game!
=]
Mirella Rogan says
Can’t wait to see the finished colouring! I am very excited about the contest even though I know I stand no chance lol… but it’ll be great to see what others are capable of!

HOW EXCITING! You just keep blooming with ideas, Kathy! 😉 Your people look FUN! “Dude & Dudet!” (I have a couple of them in my house! LOL) I DO look forward to your 30 Day Coloring Challenges, as they push me out of my funk MANY TIMES! LOL A Coloring Contest IS A SUPER IDEA, Kathy!!! 😉 CAN’T WAIT to hear MORE!!! 😀
Christine Hodge says
I love the idea of a coloring contest. It reminds me of when I was little and I would enter the coloring contest that were in the newspaper. I like that the playing field will be even. Great idea, I’m interested to hear more. And, I haven’t been coloring a lot during your coloring challenge, but what I have been doing is organizing all my craft supplies, especially my card making supplies. It is summer here and I’m a school teacher, so I have been using my free time to organize. Then, I will be coloring more because all my markers and my paper and my stamps will be organized. so, even if I haven’t been coloring as much, you have motivated me to be creative by organizing my coloring supplies. Thank you!

First, I love the staps you did already on the gorgeous stamped images from Ink Blot, I am looking forward to see the them finished.
Second, a colouring contest? I don’t know, sounds interesting but first want to know more about it. What kind of medium, yes or no the same image, how on earth do you judge the level of colouring etc. Think you have to do a lot of thinkwork before you start.
Loly Borda says
Lovely images, those rosy cheeks are adorable!~ Looking forward to the blog hop, I’m having so much fun and inspiration wit your 30 day coloring Kathy! I know you are super busy, thanks for organizing this! And as for the contest I’d love to see what everybody does! TFS

Love those little people.
I’m not sure if I’m brave enough to participate in a coloring contest but I do enjoy seeing everyone’s work.
Clarissa Vicencio-Wickens says
I agree that those stamps are adorable, lovely colouring Kathy. I guess a contest wouldn’t hurt for those who really love challenges; don’t know if I’m brave enough to join, but happy to support everyone.

Pretty faces so far in your coloring today! I really enjoy seeing all the coloring inspiration, but personally, I am not a contest kinda girl.

I am so up for a coloring contest! I’m doing one right now to win $50 in merchandise from Colorit but I am mad about it. I got the e-mail today and the contest ends in 2 days! I couldn’t get the picture to be smaller then I printed so it’s big and they said we had to color and print out the picture. It’s detailed and I am hoping I finish it in 2 days. I still can’t believe they gave us 2 days to do it! I spent 3 hours coloring just the leaves in tonight. The e-mail was posted with today’s date so it’s not like it could have gotten lost or something. If you are going to do a coloring contest, and I am ready, willing and able, give us more then 2 days to finish it. Also, give us a lot of stamp companies to choose from or just give us something specific to color like say Flowers or butterflies or create a scene, something like that. I am so ready for a coloring contest! As for a medium, which the coloring contest I am doing didm’t specify , why not just have it be any medium we choose that you could use to color with? That way, if you specify say, water colors, someone whose not good with water colors won’t enter. If you don’t specify a medium, them those who aren’t good with maybe water colors but good with colored pencils will enter. You have no idea how excited I am right now! I might not sleep tonight! LOL
I love what you started to do with your faces. I have a fairy to color in my contest along with the tree she is sitting in so I have skin to do too and I’m not real good at getting skin exactly right. I haven’t been good at hair either but the last thing I colored something with hair I nailed the hair so let’s hope I nail the skin and the hair this time too. I hope we get to see how it comes out because right now you are teasing us! LOL
Coloring contest here we come!
MelodyJ says
Very good skin tone coloring.
FeM says
As always, amazing coloring. Coloring Contest? It’s not for me. I’m happy to color in my own world to relax. But I will support all the wonderful artists and cheer them on.
Elaine says
Those stamps do look fun! I like the variety of images! Ooo, a coloring contest…that sounds fun! Hmm…how about categories for different mediums such as markers and colored pencils?
Sladjana Perisic says
I think if the playing field is leveled somehow this would be great. Some of us that are still learning are not in a position to compete with someone with advanced skills and hope to win. Great idea though!
Brandy Duncan says
I have been wanting these girls stamps, and now there are boys. How adorable. The rose cheeks are a great addition.
KT Fit Kitty says
Beautiful job on those faces – I find it easier to colour animals than people, but lately I’m enjoying flowers the most. Thanks for the inspiration, Kathy!
Holly Denghel says
I love the idea of a coloring contest for adults. I kind of envy the kids at restaurants when they get coloring pages and colors and some of them get posted on the walls. 🙂
MelodyJ says
The fun images make this piece.
