Hello Friends, I hope your week is off to a good start. For today’s coloring I tried to recreate what happened yesterday with the Memento ink but, I guess I took to long before I started watercoloring lol. Finally I have a video for you. This flower is one of the XL flowers from Power Poppy.
See you tomorrow and I hope you like the video. Hugs, Kathy
There are 3 ways to share what you are coloring. If you want to join a community of coloring enthusiasts I recommend FaceBook or Instagram. Be sure to tag me and use the hashtag #thedailymarker30day. Kids & young adults use #thedailymarker30daykids.
The 3rd way is to link up to my blog to share your coloring.

Gabriella B says
I love the colors you picked

This is so gorgeous. Its funny that you mentioned the importance of the paper. I have finally splurged on a pad of Arches c/p and I am playing around with that at the moment. I do think I need to invest in some larger floral’s though. It is so hard to practice when the flower petals are so small. I am loving Power Poppy’s XL’s.

Wow you make coloring flowers look so easy. I need lots of practice. I love the orange and pink in the petals. I tend to make mine all look the same but really like a pink and an orange next to each other. Maybe the idea of larger flowers to practice on is a good idea. I have a large dahlia i thunk ill pull out and practice on. Cant wait for tomorrow’s ideas.

Kathy I just love watching you work. I haven’t been able to do any coloring here lately due to we have had 3 deaths in 6 months in my husbands family. He is now the last one left and I am currently in California but thank goodness heading home Friday. Driving the in laws car back to Texas so keep me in your prayers. Thank you for adding a bright spot to my days during this time of sorrow.
Gail Plaskiewicz says
WOW! DOUBLE WOW! This flower is so pretty! I love how you used all those colors in the flower. Sometimes I try to make a flower the color it should be. I’ve even gone online to see the real color and make sure I have that color or a color that is close. Then there are times when I’ve decided that since the colors in Heaven are 100 times better then here on earth, I’ve heard, so maybe flowers are different colors in Heaven then here, I’m going to do it my way. I love to make my flowers colorful.
I have a white gel pen I got with a 60 set of gel pens. That pen never worked and I have to e-mail the company. I want to do what you do with yours but without a working white gel pen I can’t. I love flowers! Now I am off to one of your blog hops. I’m having computer problems with my computer. We have high speed wireless yet I keep getting kicked off. I would not recommend Frontier internet and phone to anybody and I wish we hadn’t gotten it, so I haven’t done any of your blog hops. So far I’m still online so I hope I can stay on. I’ve been doing a lot of coloring too!

Wow Kathy, the coloring on this flower is just outstanding! I love the way you use water and colors and drop color in and blend and go in with so many details that make the petals just pop and look dimensional! I’m so glad I got to meet you in person at the Road Trip Coloring Challenge at Gina K’s last October! Thanks again for sharing your talent with us.
Elaine says
Lovely coloring as always! I’m glad you didn’t re-stamp the image and showed how you transformed the mistake to complete the image!
