Day 23. More Watercoloring

Hello and good morning. It’s almost 3 am here and I need to get to bed lol. If felt good to take my time and do some watercoloring tonight. Sometimes you just have to take more than 10 minutes!

    For 3 am, this is SO GORGEOUS, Kathy! I dare say, I wouldn’t be painting at 3 am! LOL But, I can see WHY you were tempted! SUPER BEAUTIFUL IMAGE! I have been drooling over this image since I saw it! 😉 HOPE you’ve gotten some sleep when you see this! 😉

    Beautiful image. Love the colors you used. I am interested in your palette. It looks like it holds a large variety of colors. Can you share more info about it? I have not seen that style of palette before. Thanks, and hope you get a nap today.

    Hi Kathy, We could of chatted at 3.00, lol. That is my wake time, my hubby says I am a vampire, my body will not allow me to sleep at dark, so I take naps ( long ones) during the day. Beautiful watercoloring, and I do love that stamp, I actually loved most of that whole release, it was a cool one. I wrote you a message thru your blog I hope you get a chance to read it sometime, it is regarding the Road Trip to Florida. Get some well deserved sleep.

    This is gorgeous, Kathy!!! It’s nice to know there’re are others out there using their “creative juices” at all hours of the night/morning!!! It seems like that’s when some of our best ideas come to us; funny, isn’t it?

    Oh yeah Kathy sometimes the me-time is much more then 10 minutes and then suddenly it’s far after bedtime LOL. If you enjoy yourself it is not so bad, sometimes LOL.
    I saw this gorgeous stamp from Simon in the new release, that’s one to fell in love with.
    I love your colouring, can’t wait to see it finished. Hope you sleep well and see you tomorrow, oh my than it is already the last week!!!!

    I love this set. I hope you show this one completed….. I worked on some alcohol ink backgrounds today using Yupo paper. They can be addictive. Such fun to see where the colors collide. Get some rest.

    I love to watercolor! I love that stamp from Simon says! Flowers are so pretty, especially if you stamp them and those mutant ninja squirrels can’t get to them, which we have tons of in our yard. When you watercolor them and they look so pretty, I think you succeeded!
    I’m trying to finish up a picture for a coloring contest on Dover. For some reason I’m thinking I colored this before but I liked it and it had to be a nature picture. When I am done I will post it. I wish I could color all day for a whole day but that’s not something I can do. Maybe next week? LOL

    How lovely! I often am awake at 3:30 but am not coloring–it would probably be hilarious to see the coloring I’d do at that hour 🙂
