Day 29. Studio Katia $50.00 Giveaway

Hello how are you? Super quick post and I hope you don’t mind.

I am progressing with this piece that was stamped for a blog hop on the 16th. Yesterday I colored the background on the airplane. I brought a small clip board which was really handy because it saved my neck and I could direct my coloring toward the light.

Once I checked into my hotel I was able to color some of  “Best Friends” from Studio Katia.

This is how it looked before coloring any of the animals.

Mixing the Studio Katia dogs with the awesome sentiments from Reverse Confetti equals a win win.

After stamping the sentiment with Memento I masked it before stamping  the animals.

    Hi Kathy, Cant believe we are at day 29, only one more day. Thats so so sad. I love how these challenges push us all to colour colour colour our way through each day and extend ourselves with different ideas. Here I am, I have used a couple of alcohol ink backgrounds and felt quite comfortable with it too. I am a dog lover especially since getting a companion dog for our daughter from the Guide Dog Association. Of course they come totally trained and perfect and win over the household and we have gone from a home that has never had a dog in the house to a home that couldn’t imagine a home without. He is part of the family now and is then of the best decisions I ever made for Elysha.

    Where has the month gone! I’m a cat lover. Have always had cats – although we also had a dog when I was young and when our children were little. Cute stamps on the card today

    We have both rescue dogs and cats in our family, so we love them all with abandon! 😀

    Favorite animal – this is a tough choice. I think I’ll go with Rhino. Favorite bird is Macaw and favorite sea creature is dolphin, or maybe whale. I really can’t decide.

    This Studio Katia stamp has been on my wishlist for quite a while because it DOES have both cats AND dogs! Unfortunately my budget has yet to cooperate with my wishlist. I truly don’t think that I could pick a favorite between a cat versus a dog!

    For a pet, I love my dog BUT Giraffes are my very favorite animal and I would love to have one but for two things, my doorways are not tall enough and I am not sure you can house break a giraffe. Oh and as far as sleeping in my bed with me? I just don’t think so….

    Wow you colored on the plane! The ride must have been smooth? And your coloring is amazing in any environment. My favorite is a frog with crown behind the word “most”. I like it best because it is in the back, different, and reminds me we do kiss a lot of frogs cuz it’s the kind thing to do…sometimes

    Can’t believe the challenge is almost over! I’m so glad I joined (my first one) and really got to practice coloring with different mediums. I will definitely stop avoiding any stamps that need coloring! LOL

    I love using clip boards. They help keep it in place and yes helps with the neck. I like how you did the sentiment and animals..
    My favorite is DOGS!! I have 2 rescue shih Tzu mix and they are my babies..

    I’ve prepped my final project to color on the road, Kathy … another 3500 mile road trip! I’ve brought one stamped/embossed panel to color in the car – hope I don’t get car sick – it often happens, and I cannot read in the car – we’ll see!

    Lovely card and coloring–I’m still working away at this! Having an art/organization day today, trying to find a better way to keep my ink pads safe. Now I just can’t purchase anymore! I’m a cat lover–always was, but have to say, I do love my “grand greyhound” Crown, our son’s dog. He’s just a luv! So favorite animal? Cats first, then dogs close 2nd.

    At this point in my life (70 years young), I no longer have pets, but I’ve always loved cats. I get my cat “fix” when I visit my grandchildren who have two. Your card is going to be beautiful, and the sentiment is very sweet.

    I so love ocean sea creatures dolphins !! I helped my mom
    as kid until 17 salt water fish tanks with seahorses!! I would

    I love DOGS!! I am one of those people that if I see a dog while out and about I say hi to the dog and always ask to pet or if a companion dog I tell them they have a beautiful dog. I drive my husband and his brother nuts when we got to Home Depot. They always say you just come here for the dogs. LOL!! I plan on making me a sign or a sticker that says I like dogs better than most people. LOL!! As I type this my little 23 lbs Beagle/ Jack Russell mix is sitting in my office chair with me. I can’t lean on the back of the chair because he is between me and it. LOL!! His spot if he is not in his own chair in my craft room/office. LOL!! Yes, he is the king of the house. LOL!!

    I like cats and dogs but do not own either. My husband and I are retired and love to travel whenever we can.     Probably dog, not into tame animals. Have a family of red foxes in back yard I love to watch! Along with an eagle nest, deer and hummingbirds!! And of course that never ending deer population! Lol!

    You asked us to comment on our favorite animal. I had a cat and a dog and they both lived to be 16. I loved my cat! The only thing I hated was changing the litter box. I also love baby chicks and baby ducks. I am so sad! There is only one more day for the coloring challenge! I’m going to miss it! Sob, sob! LOL I don’t plan on giving up on coloring though. How could I? I love it to much! LOL
    Thanks for showing us a love for coloring and creating beautiful things. I love the card you created but didn’t finish. I guess I’ll have to wait until next time to see it all done. I want to post a few more cards before the last day. I just finished one for my mom’s high school friend for her birthday next week. She will be 89!
    Happy rest of the summer! We are having a heat wave in CT with temps in the high 90’s but it will feel like over 100! I guess our air will be on all week!

    Cats 🙂 All the way . My current companion is one I adopted about 12 months ago, and he has been such great company for me now I am on my own.

    The only other pet I would love would be a budgie.

    I am so disappointed that I could not colour along much at all this time – first my eyes decided to go on strike , and they were only just getting their act together again when I got an ‘orrible cold/chest infection. Life conspired against me – maybe next time!!

    I love cows! Especially their peaceful eyes! That’s where my Nickname comes from: in German ” Muh” is the sound that a cow makes.

    I have loved following the Coloring Challenge and have learned a lot. I am a dog lover, but only visiting my “grand dog”. She is getting bigger and I have to prepare my self because she can knock me down with her enthusiasm/love.

    Dogs, prairie dogs, and miniature donkeys! I’ve had dogs all my life, currently have 2 labradors. We had a prairie dog once and she was one of the best pets I’ve ever had… so sweet, house broken, and was totally adored by the 2 regular dogs we had at the time. We miss her like crazy! Now I’m petitioning my hubby for a miniature donkey when we move. Our next house will be on acreage and not in a neighborhood. They are so sweet and full of personality. Cardmaker Michelle Oatman of DonkeySmiles posts about her miniature donkeys (and miniature goats) every week and it just makes me want to get one now and sneak him in the backyard… which will work until the first time he brays!!! lol

    I like cats and dogs and I’ve had both as pets. We did have 2 cats and a dog, but now we only have a dog. I do miss my cats 🙁

    Its so hard to say as I have both, so will go completely different and say Killer Whales!! I’ve been in love with them since I was a kid and top of my bucket list is seeing them in the wild!
