Hello hello Friends! How are you? Were you waiting to see who the winners are? Thank you for your patience and I truly appreciate the extra time needed to select the winners for the The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Contest. This is something I take very seriously and didn’t want to rush. As you might imagine it was very difficult to pick from all the beautiful submissions. Finally I was able to narrow down each category to a dozen painstaking choices and left the rest of the final decisions to be made by two lovely crafty ladies because I knew it would be 100% non bias.
Going through all of the beautiful cards I found it was very difficult to narrow it down and I am so grateful for you all for entering the contest. Thank YOU! I will be doing these contests again between my 30 day coloring challenges. The current winners will advance to the next category to keep things fair and square.
One thing that I was thinking about during this process is this analogy. If you have ever watched The Voice? They always reference that the song choice is imperative and I think the stamp choice can be just as important. Some stamps showcase your coloring better than other stamps. Make sense? I would love to hear your thoughts or suggestions going forward to the next contest.

Kathy I think you are right when you say that stamp choice is important and I think even colour choice is important, some shows better than others. Perhaps it is a thought of giving a colour chart with for example three colours you at least must use or a type of stamp, for example a flower. Or you can give a theme.
On the other hand there are than perhaps people who won’t participate because of the rules.
It stays difficult.

Henriette, aren’t you thrilled that you challenged yourself with a new technique? I hope everyone will experiment (play!) with stamp choices, color choices, and techniques to showcase their coloring talent. Most of all, I want everyone to enjoy coloring 🙂
I was thrilled about the colouring and this new technique. It wasn’t onIy the technique but I experimented also with my colours, I normaly are a bright colour girl, I hardly use pinks and soft colours except for baby cards. But these water lilies asked for pinks, that’s why I love flowers stamps, you can use any colour or the colours they are in nature.
And I said it already on my blog, what was I thinking to do a new technique and colours I hardley use for a contest….but you challenged me somehow to come out of my comfort zone and just try it.
Again thank you so much for the challenge, I not only had a lot of fun I also learned to do instead of only thinking of it.

I signed up to enter but never got a chance to finish my card as I got extremely sick, it has been a bad year for me, the funny part was I signed up for intermediate but wow BIG eye opener for me after seeing all the amazing talent above I am afraid I don’t even qualify for the beginners category. I knew I needed a ton of work but I have been coloring for a lot of years, you think you would pick up a thing or two.
