Hello Friends, How is your weekend going? I finally had some time to finish up these watercolor cards created with the new Gina K. Designs stamps.
Yes I made a few cards! Woot Woot!
There are three birds in the stamp set but, who can choose so I had to color them all up! The stamp set is called, “Snow Birds” and they are luscious! And I am loving the sentiments too!
The snow birds were inked up with Gina’s black amalgam ink. I pack this ink where ever I travel because you can use it with water or with alcohol markers. When I am watercoloring I always do the background first and give it time to completely dry.
These birds were painted previous but, I added some white accents and some shading in the nooks and crannies.
Quick post today because we are in NY visiting our daughter. Have a great day see you tomorrow. Hugs, Kathy

I love these so much. I have some Cardinals at my feeder right now. They are so beautiful when the snow comes. We’re cold enough but the snow isn’t staying too long right now. Not to worry, it will soon. Hope you are getting some good sleep……
Thank you so much, Anne! I agree, the red bird against a white snow is stunning. Slowly catching up a little on sleep 🙂
WOW! These are GORGEOUS!
Awww, you make me blush, Lagene! Thank you for your sweet words 🙂
Love these birds Kathy and what a great idea to start by water colouring the backgrounds first, it would help (I would think) to lessen any bleeding??? Enjoy NY and your time with your daughter.
Yes, Teresa! Make sure the backgrounds are really dry too. Thank you for the fun family time wishes 🙂
WOW! Adorable!
Thank you, Monia Lisa! I appreciate your kindness 🙂
Wow, those are beautiful stamps! They look so realistic! They almost look like you could hear them singing early in the morning & waking me up! LOL They always sing so early in the morning. I know, the early bird gets the worm & all that but do they have to do that so early in the morning & wake me up?
They are colored so beautifully! I to love the sentiment you used. I hope whoever gets those cards loves them as much as I do.
so amazing coloring!
