Good Morning! How are you all this weekend? Those of you effected by the fires we are still praying for you and have NOT forgotten about you. Did you see my post about where to donate?
On another note I am working on something for a blog hop with Altenew and I decided to use his large background stamp. The stamp is from a collection called, “Pattern Play”. Each one of these stamps can create dynamic yet easy backgrounds. There is the “Diamond“, (that you see today) there is a “Circle” stamp and “Hexagon” stamp.
This was painted a few months ago in this previous post and there is a video on the process here.

Oh yes, I can remember that you have framed this awesome diamond piece and hang it on your wall in, I thought, your craftroom. Love it. Just like the gorgeous background with all the differend green colours. Can’t wait to see where you made this for. Thanks for showing and see you tomorrow.

I remember that video & painting very much. Not only do I love it, you inspired me in the video to want to do a version myself but my online store here in UK had sold out of them. So I created a version of my own using a hexagon die to give me my pattern & then I coloured one. Actually did one in coloured pencil ( still to complete) one in gouache ( as I had no confidence to watercolour) & started one in markers but it remains a work in progress too. Thank you so much for reminding me to finish them.

I am so thrilled that you used your own creativity and ingenuity to create your own, Andrea! Awesome 🙂

Sorry so late but I am catching up on some e-mail’s. I love this! The shades of green are so cool & green & shady. Wait, isn’t that a John Denver song? That’s what it reminds of. The other one has my favorite color in the whole wide world in it so how can I not like it? Plus it has lots of colors in it & if it’s anything I am, it’s colorful! I love to color & I would love to color this for sure! I’m making more Christmas cards & will post them on here. As always, I don’t know why when I scan something it looks so much better in person but all of my cards do. Why don’t glitter gel pens show up on a scan? Something to ponder.
