Hello Friends!! How was your weekend? Looks like you all have been getting your coloring on. Woo hooo!!
Today was the last day of Jennifer Dove’s Copic Boot Camp and I can’t wait to film a video to share a few of Jennifer’s tips. With that said in my post tomorrow I will tell you more about Jennifer’s class and when her next Copic Boot Camp boot is. (Hoping I have wifi on the airplane.)
This adorable fox is from the stamp set called, “Feelin Foxy” from Honey Bee stamps and I was so delighted to color this image in class. Apparently Jennifer Dove loves her Copic blending solution as much as I do lol.
We practiced the rag technique that I use all the time on this fox and for different elements on parts of this background.
It was so rewarding to see this background come together and I am so inspired to think more out of the box.
Thanks for letting me share and I so appreciate your visit today. See you tomorrow! Hugs, Kathy

Hi Kathy,
The entire background is stunning!! I love how this came out!! I would love to see a Copic Bootcamp come close to Connecticut one day!!
I already said that to Kathy. I live in CT & I’d be there in a heartbeat unless we had a blizzard or something.
Thank you so much, Trina! You are so sweet 🙂
I’m quite sure your fabulous coloring is going to get even more amazing after that class❣️
Awww, Dot, you are the sweetest! Thank you for the smile 🙂
Jennifer’s class is terrific, I took it a few years ago and learned a ton! I like the blending solution and rag technique myself, really adds dimension, especially on critters. Have a safe flight home.
I have had so much fun and picked up so many tips and ideas, Sheri! Thank you for the safe travel wishes 🙂
SO CUTE! I NOTICED the rag technique RIGHT AWAY, Kathy! It looks FABULOUS!!!! LOVE the texture it gives! 😉 Are you certified with Copic’s, Kathy? MAYBE, that is what this class is all about too? What a GREAT thing to add to your resume’ when you’re a colorist! 😉 SAFE TRAVELS dear lady!!!! 😉
Thank you so much, Becky! You are a colorist too, my friend. Thank you for the well-wishes for my flight home 🙂
Oh my Kathy, this is fabulous. I love how you used the rag technique in your background and the gorgeous fox. I am already curious to hear what tips you learned ( and didn’t know yet) and see how you use that for your colouring.
Wonder if the tips also can be used with other colouring medium, we shall see or hear.
Thanks for your post, have a nice flight home, take a good nap (LOL) and see/hear you tomorrow.
I appreciate your kind words, Henriette! Thank YOU for your continued support, well wishes, and for always leaving such lovely comments. It means the world to me 🙂

Beautiful card with a fantastic background 🙂
I appreciate your kind words, Monia, Lisa! I am thrilled that you like my little scene 🙂
Very cool background!!
You are so thoughtful, Tara! Thank you 🙂
I love your fox! I love how it looks, the coloring, the background, I love it all! The colors are great & just how a fox & that background should look. Sometimes I do it exact & then other times I like to have a little fun & do it a color that it shouldn’t be but in my world it could be. Sometimes I think people wonder if I’ve gone a little nuts but I just think that’s called being creative & boy can I be creative when I want to!
Thank you, Gail! Yes, it’s all about having fun, isn’t it?
Oh wow, I just love this!! So so sweet!
That is so kind, Gab! Thank you 🙂
I really love the background!
love it!
Well sounds like you had tons of fun & lots of inspiration on this course, so glad you for lots out of it. Your fox looks cute but you lost me on the name of the technique, looking forward to getting a mini class off you on it.
The way you rave about Jenifer to us is how we rave about you & your abilities to get us colouring better, never put yourself down the list your fabulous & I have learnt so much from you in the twelve months I have started crafting .
