Hello Friends!! How are you? I don’t know about you but, I am missing coloring daily. I am starting to think about when the next 30 day coloring challenge should be. Hummmm … on another note …
Today I am thrilled to be part of the Simon Says Stamp Celebrate Women Blog Hop with some fantastic stamp sets for all year long to celebrate the special women in your life. To start at the beginning of the hop go to the Simon blog. The full blog hop list is at the bottom of my post.
Simon Says Stamp has a free set with purchase while supplies last. Woo Hoo! Use the code WMN 999 and you will get a free 4-Pack of our Simon exclusive Mother’s Day Sentiment Strips (while supplies last!) with any purchase.
CODE EXPIRES 4/28 at 11:59 pm EDT.
For my first card I was going for a one layer card with a graphic twist. The “Incredible Women” stamp set is super fab and I love how some of the letters spell out Mom or Mother etc. You can color the letters to match the ink color if you want to use it for someone other than mom.
I stamped the words once then .. flipped the stamp and stamped the words again for that graphic look. So fun using all the elements in the stamp set I decided to randomly scatter them around the words.
Coloring the background with some Tombow dual brush markers on some 140 lb watercolor paper. This is the ink of choice.
A wrap with some heavy weight vellum and hand colored twine is one of my fav ways to finish a card. (I tape the vellum to the back of my cardstock)
Oh la la the sentiments in this set called, “Good Job Momma“! I had to create another cards using this set too.
Can I just say … I love stamping. To create this card I used one leaf trio from the “Incredible Woman” stamp set and it’s so fun watching it come together. The sentiment and heart is from the “Good Job Momma” stamp set. There is also a coordinating die cut too.
This card was colored with the Tombow markers as well.
Below is the blog hop list. Thank YOU for your visit today it’s always so appreciated.
Don’t forget there is a limited time on the free set with purchase while supplies last. Use the code WMN 999 and you will get a free 4-Pack of our Simon exclusive Mother’s Day Sentiment Strips (while supplies last!) with any purchase.
NEXT on the hop is the talented Heather Hoffman . Happy Hopping. Hugs, Kathy

Beautiful cards Kathy, of course the coloring is awesome! Good job Mama! I love these new stamp sets. I do recall the difficult days, now the kids are all grown and are adults and are facing grown up issues–job layoffs, juggling too much at once–all of the usual adulting kind of stuff. I just try to be a supportive Mama and listening is what I do!
