I am grateful for your kind comment, Jessica! You made my day 🙂
I truly enjoy your videos. Who could not? These bears are adorable and the coloring is just stunning. I could practice for years and never come close to what you do. Thank you for taking the time to show all of us.

Mirella, I appreciate that very much! Thank you, sweet friend 🙂
I love your short videos. I don’t have a lot of time, but seeing a short video always puts me in a better mood and helps me keep learning even with limited time.
Yay, Kristina! I am thrilled that you found it helpful 🙂
Yes, they are to the point and are filled with valuable information!

I do like the shorter videos better than the longer ones. Thank you for asking.
Noted, Gabriella! Thanks 🙂
Hi Kathy! I don’t always have time for longer videos so I appreciate shorter ones sometimes. Keep up your work – it’s beautiful and inspiring!
Betsy, that is so sweet of you! Thank you very much 🙂
I love your short videos. I am a visual person so I find it so much easier to look at a video and then try the technique being shown. I am amazed at how easy you make everything look. Thanks for sharing what you create. Your colouring is gorgeous!!
Marian, I am so glad that I make it look easy. I appreciate your lovely comment. Thank you 🙂
Whether short, long or somewhere in-between, I love your videos! Always engaging and illuminating! Thank you for investing your time to help us become better colourists/crafters!

love all your videos, Kathy – you are so good at conveying the right amount of information without the length – I am not into rambling videos and this one was PERFECT!! This short video was perfect for showing very clearly how to create the shadow effect.
Excellent feedback, Dee! Thanks 🙂
Your card is adorable! I do like watching your videos because it’s nice to see how you color and add specific details. I really like the look of this shading. 🙂
Awww, Terrie, I am so happy that you like it 🙂 Thank you for your input!

Meghan, you are the sweetest! You brightened my day 🙂
YES! I do like your short videos, Kathy! I get your e-mails in the mornings, & I am usually trying to get through all the e-mails that have come through & get to the day! LOL So, a short video helps me get going! 😉 Your piece is ADORABLE & looks GREAT! SO CUTE!!!! ;)<3
Becky, I am thrilled that my emails get you going! You make my heart smile 🙂
Love the short videos
Glad you like them, Susie! Thank for your input 🙂
Kathy, I love watching all of your videos. Since I have been watching you I feel that I can shade and color better. I have been stamping since the 90’s and you are the first person I have watched that actually made sense and it made me try. Love all your cards and everything you do. Thank you
Jean, that makes my so happy to know that we connect on a sharing and learning level! I am grateful for your kind compliment 🙂
I absolutely love all of your videos no matter the length! I like longer videos as I seem to get more from them.
Melinda, thank you so much! I appreciate your feedback 🙂
I love the short videos! Sometimes details, like adding shadows, gets lost in a longer video so the shorter videos helps to emphasize it — and we pay more attention to these type of details.
Thank you so much, Liz! I am grateful for your input 🙂
Swooning over all that shading, details and shadows! And absolutely loving the tips ! Shorter videos are good for quick learning or knowledge about a technique or how the project was put together… you are amazing !!
Sweta, you are so very kind! Thank you so much 🙂
Great that you finally found where your flower inspiration was coming from, it’s so annoying when you miss place things. Great work. On the topic of videos, I like short & long video’s, all depends on who it is, what they are showing ? If it’s you I will take any advice you have to offer long or short. Enjoy your week x
Andrea, you make me smile! Thank you so much 🙂
This is so awesome Kathy!! i always struggle with lighting and am terrible at shading because I always overthink it! I’ll give your idea a try!
Heather, I hope you are happy with my “lighting” technique. It reduces my stress level LOL 🙂
Love the scene you created with the cute bears! Adorable!
The short videos are awesome! I get a bit overwhelmed with lengthy videos, and the short ones are to the point, which I really appreciate!
Thank you, Denise! You are so kind. I am grateful for your input 🙂
I will watch your videos whether they be short or long. I have learned so many things from you
by reading your blog post and watching your videos.
Linda, you are so kind to say so! You brightened my day 🙂
The short video is okay but I need a little more help some words to what and why would help me. Thanks for sharing everything.
Sherry, I am grateful for your feedback! Thank you 🙂
I like short,or long.It matters that I’m learning which I do with both videos.Hugs
Noted, Valerie! Thank you so much 🙂
I love the short video.. well i love long ones too but always appreciate a short one better.. thanks for making them

I love your short videos because sometimes I just need a nudge in the right direction and these are the perfect thing to get me going!
Denise, that makes me happy to hear! Thank you 🙂
I don’t mind at all! Actually I learned a lot right now from your short video on shadowing!! Thank you for showing us how to do it!!
Sabrina, you are so kind! Thanks so much 🙂
YES! I love short videos. I don’t usually have time to watch long drawn out ones. I like to get the tutorial quickly so that I have time to play, too. Thanks for a chance to win!
Janet, that is a great point! Thank you very much 🙂
I love the shading on the grass! Such cute bears!
Lisa, I am so glad you like them 🙂 Thanks for taking time to stop by my blog 🙂
Short, long, it doesn’t matter to me. I thoroughly enjoy watching you create. It’s soothing and inspirational. You are magical! TFS Thank you for the opportunity.
Ann, I am so grateful for your input! Thank you 🙂
Short videos are fine, but your longer ones are so informative because you are so honest and don’t sugar coat anything. I enjoy listening/watching both short and long.
Good to know, Nancy! I appreciate your taking time to leave feedback for me 🙂
I love the short videos just to get quick snippets of tips. With longer videos, I tend to get too overwhelmed with the amount of instruction. Hoping you keep doing the shorter videos! Thanks!!
Thank you so much, Amanda! I am grateful for your thoughtful feedback 🙂
I like your long and short videos! I prefer narrative over music. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and talent!
Ryan, noted! Thank you so much 🙂
I love the short video’s for Instagram but I love the longer video’s on your blog for more in-depth information…does that make any sense? LOL
That makes perfect sense, Buffy! Thanks so much 🙂
The short videos are great…I like seeing the live action.
Good to know, Judy! Thank you very much 🙂
That shadow tip is awesome. Thanks for sharing! Love the short videos – nice to watch something short when I need a quick break. 🙂
You are so sweet to say so, Beata! You made my day 🙂

Charlotte, you are so thoughtful and sweet! Thanks so much 🙂
I love your short videos! I can squeeze in a quick lesson & hopefully add what I learned to my next project.
Vickie, that is good to know! Thank you 🙂
I have to say, I like both the short and e long, so just do whatever strikes your fancy!! I must say I DO like it when you explain a little (lime in this video it was hard to see what color you were ado g and how). So instead of music, just a brief description would be nice.
I do love all your videos, I have learned a lot from them!
Pam, that means a lot to me,! I am so grateful for your feedback 🙂
I love your short video, sometimes that’s all the time have to sit and watch a video.
Your card is adorable! Thanks for sharing…
Jeanne, I am thrilled that you like my card! Thanks for your input too 🙂
Kathy, I can’t express enough how important “short” videos are. Many of us crafters, love to learn more but not at the expense of having no time to craft ourselves. Several of my favorite online people have expanded their videos to a length that just makes me click off and not watch. Too bad, because I love their stuff but just don’t have the time to watch for that long.
Jean, that is SO true! I feel guilty sometimes when watching the longer videos that I have to fast forward through parts. But there just isn’t enough hours in a day to color, make videos, read comments, and watch long videos. Thank you 🙂
I do like your short videos, I just don’t always get a chance to watch them.
Jody, thank you for the feedback! I appreciate your stopping by my blog 🙂
Super adorable bears and those flowers, WOW!
I love both short and long videos. Short vids I watch when I take my coffee breaks at work and long vids for when I’m washing dishes and cleaning up at night.
Lily, I am thrilled that you like them! I enjoy your tip for making time for videos. You make me smile 🙂
I love all your videos. 8 could watch a livestream of you coloring all day long. I learn so much – short or long!
Laura, you are so thoughtful to say so! You made my day 🙂
I think there’s a place for both long and short videos, but short is definitely easier when your crunched for time.
Amy, that is a valid point! Life gets in the way so often 🙂
I do like them—they’re helpful and I don’t have to set aside 30 minutes. Thank you!
Thank you, Chark! I am grateful for your feedback 🙂
Love your videos. On busier days, the shorter videos work out much better for me.
I am so happy that you enjoy my videos, Alyce! That means a lot to me. Thanks for your input 🙂
I love any kind of video you make because I love your coloring so any time I watch I enjoy it ❤️
Anna, you are so kind! Thank you, sweetie 🙂
I love your short videos. The content is really relevent so just as valuable as a long video.
Katrina, so noted! Thank you very much 🙂
I love your short videos!! You always have the best coloring tips!!
Thanks, Maureen! You are so sweet 🙂
I love your videos! I am trying to hone my skills and realized that I CAN learn from more than one master in the field and that no one technique is the be all, end all. I love how you use graphite and colored pencils to add details and interest to your water and copic coloring. Time for me to dust off my colored pencils and see if I can do the same. Keep the videos coming!
Karen, get those pencils out! Mix different ways to color, but more importantly, have fun. I am always learning from other crafters. Thank you for your thoughtful comment 🙂
I like (and prefer) the short videos. Thank you for motivating and inspiring us through your coloring challenges!
Jen, good to know! You are most welcome, my sweet friend 🙂
I love your short videos!
Thanks, Elizabeth! I am grateful for your input 🙂
I do like shorter videos that get in, show the intended information and are done. Love watching your videos, I learn so much! Thank you!
Eva you are very kind to say so! Thank you so much 🙂
Mir gefällt das Video ausgezeichnet, gut erklärt und man kann es nach dem anschauen sehr gut selbst umsetzten.
I love your short videos! It’s mesmerizing to watch
Mesmerizing, huh? Alexandra , you make me blush! You are so sweet 🙂
Yes! I do like the short videos b/c sometimes that is all my brain has time to digest! Also when I come back to it, I am only watching the one thing I want to focus on.
I know the feeling, Susan! hat is valuable feedback. Thank you 🙂
I love the little snippets Kathy but also enjoy the longer ones when I have more time. Any video you make is worth a watch! Thank you for all you do for us, you are amazing hugs xx
Lisa, I am grateful for your lovely compliment! You brightened my day 🙂
Yes I do like your short videos.

Thanks and keep them coming.

yes
Noted. Thank you 🙂
No I don’t like them… I LOVE THEM!!!! ❤️
LOL, Cheyenne! You make me giggle. Thank you 🙂
Yes – for sure, I like the short videos.
Good to know, Sherry! Thanks 🙂
Kathy, amazing coloring, and even though I’ve always known you to be a great colorist, I can see from your current work how much you’ve grown since I’ve started following you! Proven point is that lots of practice is required! I love your short videos, this one showed the shadow detail perfectly, and I think it helps it get “etched” in my brain, longer video’s sometimes have too much info. This one perfectly focuses in on what you are trying to teach! Thanks! I’ve been participating this month, just doing bigger things or have less time, so not posting each day’s coloring, but finished projects, once I finish a few. It seems that some need a few days to “stew” before I know what I need to do next.
Sheri, your well thought out and kind feedback is so very much appreciated! Thank you for your sweet compliment too. That means the world to me 🙂
I very much enjoy your short videos!! You have such a gift!! Thanks for the giveaway!❤️
DeNEl, you are so kind! Thank you so much 🙂
Wonderful coloring .. I love both long and short videos.. enjoyed watching your short videos.. Thanks for the inspiration..
That is sweet of you! Thank you 🙂
I enjoy your short videos! They give me a close-up look at how you do things (like create shadows). I learn from each video I watch. Thank you!
Thanks so much, Deb! Thant means a lot to me 🙂
I love the short videos! I have a young son and can’t always sit for 20 consecutive minutes!
Dawn, that is good to know! Thanks 🙂
Love all your videos!
Wendy, you are so kind to say so! Thank you 🙂
I LOVE your videos, because it gives me an idea of how you work those nooks and crannies. You’re a wonderful colorist! Thank you!
Tina, you are so sweet to say so! You made my day 🙂
Beautiful card. I love how the flowers are the size of trees!
Rebecca, I am so glad you like them! Thanks very much 🙂
I love all your videos whether they are quick helpful tips or longer videos with techniques and how tos. Every reminder is helpful to me. Love the MFT flowers. They are gorgeous!
Thank you so much, Donna! You are so thoughtful 🙂
Short or long, I sit down with a coffee and take a break…. I have been anxious to see this one finished. The flowers are so beautifully done, now the bears complete it. It was definitely worth the wait. Thank you!
You are most welcome, Anne! Anything for a sweet friend like you 🙂
Wow this is fabulous Kathy! I like long videos because I get to see the process. But I also like short videos because I learn of a specific tip.
Xoxo Olga
Thank you so much, Olga! I am happy that you like both types of videos 🙂
I have always loved your videos Kathy, I love it because you show us that even you mess up sometimes. 🙂
LOL, Nicole! You made me giggle 🙂
I enjoy all your videos, but I do like to short ones that focus on a specific part of your coloring process. You always inspired me.
Cyndi, that is so true! Both are valuable in their own way, I suppose 🙂
Enjoy all your videos, long or short! I learn something new from every one. Thanks for doing this challenge and for sharing your wealth of knowledge.
Sharon, you are so kind to say so! I am grateful for your feedback 🙂
I am loving your short videos! Please keep them coming!
Dayle, I am so glad to hear that! Thank you so much 🙂
The short videos are super, Kathy. I always learn a lot. I love the longer ones too because I feel like we get to see your thought processes too.
Donna, I appreciate your thoughtful feedback! Thank you 🙂
Found this short video concise and to the point. Although it is very brief I think it’s possibly more effective as it isolates the specific technique you wanted to highlight in a clear and simple manner without getting lost in a longer, more general video. Very much appreciate all your videos.
I am grateful for your kind input, Kathy! It means a lot to me 🙂
A awesome card that truly displays your talent and skill, Kathy. Outstanding role modeling for one and all. I like the short videos. Some artists make their videos much too long.
Peggy, you are so very kind! Thank you very much 🙂
I like the short videos. It’s like getting a quick tip about shading, details, etc. Not sure I would feel the same way if you posted longer videos.
Mirella, thank you for your helpful insight! It is much appreciated 🙂
I do enjoy the short videos. Still good tips and tricks and easier to fit in my day!
Megan, noted! Thank you 🙂

Good to know, Jodie! Thank you so much for the valuable feedback 🙂
I love your short videos. You can learn by seeing how it’s done and it doesn’t take long!! 🙂
Noted, Terry! I appreciate your input 🙂
I’ll take any video I can get! Short is better than stills, the longer the better. It’s always a valuable lesson and a joy to watch.
You are so sweet, Lee! I appreciate your kind comment 🙂
I really do like your short videos. I love how in today’s you focused on adding shadows and how easy it is to do so. You make it all look easy! Thanks for sharing your skills and inspiration!

Thank you, Carla! That means a lot to me 🙂
I truly and unconditionally love all of your videos, Kathy! I also love when I hear your encouraging voice telling me how/and that I can, do it, too!!
Leslie, you are the so lovely to say so! Thank you very much 🙂
I love your short videos!!! But all the long ones too!!! You’re amazing and very inspirational!!!
I enjoyed the short video. Adding shadows always make it look better. I wish you would have shown how you did the green grass.
Deb, I am so happy that you liked it. I believe I explained the grass in a previous 30 day challenge, if you want to look, but simply put, I use my topic markers, then add touches with pencil.
Your videos, short, or long, are always informative and are how a large majority of us find out about those extra little touches that really make a card stand out. Thank you for inspiring me to make cards I’m proud to send to my family and friends.
Michelle, your comment has me grinning ear-to-ear! I am sure your family and friends are delighted to receive a card from you. Keep coloring, my friend. You are so kind; thank you 🙂
Your short videos are fabulous! But, hey, I love all of your videos!!
That is sweet, Carol! Thank you 🙂
I enjoy watching your short videos. Your coloring skills are beyond amazing, by the way.

I appreciate the feedback, Cindy! Thank you 🙂
I really enjoy your short videos! Thanks for doing them.
Cathy, I am so glad that you enjoy them! I appreciate your stopping by my blog 🙂
I have to admit that I rarely watch videos as my internet connection is sooooo sloooow, but I’d definitely prefer to watch a short video over a long one!
That is a valid point, Manda! Slow internet connections are frustrating. Thank you so much for taking time to watch and leave feedback for me 🙂
I love your short videos. Hello give me quick ideas to try, and isn’t overwhelming like some longer videos can be.
Holly, so noted! I appreciate your input 🙂
Yes I love your short videos! Love seeing how you work.
Mimi, you are so kind! Thank you 🙂
Yes I loved the short video with shading
I am happy that you enjoyed it, Robin! Thank you 🙂

Pam, that is sweet of you to say so! I am grateful for your kind comment 🙂
Love your short videos…it’s like a sneak peek!!!
LOL, Debbie! I enjoyed your analogy. Thank you 🙂

Good to know, Gwen! Thanks so much 🙂
SUPER CUTE and SO BEAUTIFUL too!
LOVE your bears, ADORE your flowers,
together they are W O W 🙂
Your shadows and video are fabulous too!
I really enjoy your videos, I learn so much, short ones are handy when time is tight but I miss hearing about what you’re doing along the way.
Tracy, your lovely comment made my day. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. You make my heart happy 🙂
I love your videos! Always informative and I live watching you color! I have to confess that I only watch YT when I have time for longer videos so the shorter ones pumps me up to watch the longer ones – I hope that makes sense. Thanks for inspiration – truly appreciated!
LOL, Joyce, that makes a lot of sense to me! I appreciate you too; thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback 🙂
I love how you did the flowers! I would love to learn to do this. Can you come to my house? Hey, I’ll cook & everything, you just need to show up! LOL I love this card & how you finished it. You did an amazing job as usual.
Do I like your short videos? I like all your videos! After all, it was a video of yours that I watched to make my first shaker card without a die cutter! I love seeing how you do things. I am off to post more cards!
Thank you so much, Gail! You crack me up. I can’t wait to see what you’ve posted 🙂
I loved your short video! It was great watching your coloring techniques! Thank you for the quick lesson and inspiration!
I am so glad you liked it! You are the sweetest 🙂
I love your short videos to get insights on how you colour. Isn´t it funny that – though it is not necessary at all to get insights into the technique – I bend my head to see the design upside up? 🙂
Kind regards from stempelfrida
Teehee, me too! Sorry about the sideways 🙂 Thank you for taking time to stop by my blog .
I really enjoy your short videos. Sometimes when I am trying to learn something new, I like to watch a video more than once. Having a shorter video makes it more doable. Thanks, Kathy!
Barbara, that is good to know! Thank you for your valuable input. It means a lot to me 🙂
amazing coloring on these cute mages!
thank you for all inspiration!
You are always so kind to me, Fiki! Thank you 🙂

Danielle, that is very kind! You make my heart happy 🙂
I do like your short videos and love your adorable card!
Thank you so much, Cynthia! You are so sweet to say so 🙂
I enjoy watching the short videos as much as I love viewing the longer ones. Short videos help me to get a quick look at the new techniques you share, especially on days when I have a lot on my plate. I then watch the full videos on the days I am free.
That sounds like a good plan, Joy! I am grateful that you took the time to leave me good feedback 🙂
Love your bright, fun and colorful card. The turnabouts are new to me, so your ideas were terrific. You are truly talented and thank you for sharing your love of the paper arts!
Kimberly, what a thoughtful and sweet comment! Thank you so much 🙂
I love your short videos! They are very inspiring.
Kari, what a kind comment! That means a lot to me 🙂
Love love love the Hero Arts and Concord & 9th turnabout stamps. The examples look amazing and I am looking forward to giving this a try.
Carole, that is good news! I think you will enjoy it 🙂
Love your card, it came out AWESOME!!!! I love ALL your videos, short or long, truly, I have learned sooooo much from YOU MS. Kathy over the years that I just gobble gobble up all the yummy information I can get from you, waiting on hubby to bring me lunch, can you tell I’m hungry, lol. Big Hugs
Tracey, thanks for the giggle! You brightened my day 🙂
Sweet card, Kathy! I do enjoy your short videos and do appreciate your thoughtfulness. There aren’t enough hours in a day to spend hours on watching crafty videos AND getting crafty as well. Time seems to be slipping through my fingers these days…
Marianne x
Marianne, you are so right! I wonder what it would be like to have enough hours in the day…
Thank you so much for stopping by, leaving me feedback, and making me smile 🙂
Yes I love the short videos and learning new techniques from your wonderful coloring! Thank you so much for making them.
You are so sweet to say so, Ericka! It is my pleasure 🙂

I love “sped up” portions and yours don’t ever seem long! And we love seeing the process! Gorgeous coloring as ever!
Beverly, I like the speed up feature when I am watching a video too, and for the same reasons. I am grateful for your kind and thoughtful comment 🙂
Oh Kathy, that looks so sweet. You did a great job on it.
I like the shorter videos on days when I don’t have much time and longer ones when I do. So do what feels right for you as I know you are busy also.
Teresa, that is thoughtful of you! I appreciate your kindness and taking time to leave valuable feedback 🙂
Kathy, this is so BEARY sweet! I love your coloring and the video was a great tool to show the shadowing that you did (I didn’t know it was Copic 0!) It really gives the coloring so much depth and dimension to add that! Thank you!
Kelly, thank you so much! You are the sweetest 🙂
I like your short videos. 🙂

Hi dear Kathy,
Sorry I left other two comments answering two other girls.
I made a mess with my mobile…
I love your short videos!!! But all the long ones too!!!
Yes, I do like the short videos. They are helpful delivering info in small bits.
Yes I enjoy all of your videos, short or long ones.
Your coloring is fabulous! I can’t get enough!
Love all of your videos. Fun and helpful to watch your process. The little bears card is adorable.
I have to admit that I don’t really watch many videos at all; don’t have the attention span! : ) Or maybe it’s the fact I don’t have that much free time due to having 3 kids!
