Hellloooo Friends! Welcome to Day 14. of The 30 Day Coloring Challenge. It’s me again and I am back for a really cool blog hop! It’s been a super crazy week with lots of exciting things. Jane Davenport NEW Artomology + Making Faces blog hop is today and I am super excited to be part of it!! Jane Davenport has always been a huge inspiration to me so you can only imagine my excitement!
To start at the beginning of the hop go to the Spellbinders blog here. If you are arriving from Claudia White’s blog you are in the right place.
I am thrilled that Jane is sharing her talent online with a Making Faces Workshop! OMG YESSSS! There is a FREE Making Faces Workshop and really cool Making Faces By Jane Davenport Starter Kit Bundle.
“Join Jane as she celebrates the global release of her groundbreaking ‘Making Faces’ collection. Each of these beauty inspired art supplies offer myriad creative tricks! The ‘Making Faces’ workshop is an online art class. This means you can tune in when convenient, enjoy the lessons at your own pace, rewind as needed and learn in your pajamas if that’s what suits you!”
Nothing like literally taking a page right out of Jane’s book! The book is full of beautiful illustrations to color. I will be honest I was hesitant to try this beautiful palette of pastels because it was going out of my comfort zone! Let me tell you the pastels were so creamy and super easy to add shading.
From the same book are these beautiful large faces to color! Swoon!
This actually looks much better in person …. when I thought I was finished (it’s 2:30am) I took a better look at the cover and had to add another layer of color lol.
The hotel room lighting doesn’t do this justice and I can’t wait to play more with these pastels. Jane also has some beautiful stamps I will be inking up next week for the coloring challenge,
