Hello Friends, Welcome to Day 26!!! CRAZY that it’s Day 26 already. Coloring everyday is something that I still crave and want to do. For me it’s the blog posts that become a chore for me. When it’s all said and done I plan on continuing to color daily if possible. What about you?
Before the coloring challenge Alex Syberia asked me to color one of her beautiful illustrations and I am just now getting around to it.

I decided to color this opposite. The leaves in floral colors and the florals in more leafy colors. Such fun!
By trade I am a procrastinator and I have had a new printer for months. Printing this digi from Alex I was forced to clean a space, unwrap and hook up my printer. Thank YOU Alex!
I was trying out some new gel markers but, not sure I like them yet for that first layer of color.
Adding pencils and this gel pen is what made this digi pop off of the kraft paper.

Yes to the pouch! And yes to your coloring!! The difference adding the pencils and white gel pen are incredible! I love the opposite coloring that you did and how you add blues to greens, purples to pinks, etc., to shade. I’m the one that saw you at airport running back to recheck a bag LOL! It’s from bags being too heavy after Junkiefest lol!

I HAVE BEEN working away here, & DO PLAN ON continuing my coloring LONG after the challenge, Kathy! I THOUGHT I had every thing here in time to do WALL ART. HA! A snag in the plans, & I am STILL collecting things to do the BIG Wall Art I had planned! Just a few more things to come & I’ll be ready to get started! LOL Our daughter has requested I make some Wall Art for her Dorm Living Room!!! The BIG Project, is for behind her couch! ;)<3 SO FUN!!! (Seeing the images you use has helped GREATLY! Yes to the pouch! Lol! That kind of reminds me of this English teacher I had, Mr. Leonard. He used to keep this sweater in his classroom for kids that get cold because his room was unusual cold. It had llamas printed all over it and in order to use it we had to say “Mr. Leonard… I yearn for the llama.” Lol!!

I am having some issues with my hands and see the doctor tomorrow. My doc thinks I may have carpal tunnel. Whatever it is, I need it fixed!! Lovely coloring on this one Kathy. Myself, I have never been a fan of gel pens. But never say never.

WOW ! Those Digi images from Alex are superb, adore your two takes on the colour combinations. Thank you for a chance to win such an awesome pouch in such fabulous patterned fabric. With this new bout of chronic pain my condition has really got in the way of my 30 day challenge plans, managed till about day 19 but it’s been so on/ off since then. Your card is stunning, I saw it on Instagram and saw there was something differnt about it and couldn’t place it. But after reading your post here, I know that it is the opposite colouring you did.
I love the beautiful image from Alex, I know her work from her DT work for different companies. I had to take a peek at her store because I love flowers, her digital stamps are gorgeous and I will certainly go back there and not only to peek LOL.

Wow! I just love this coloured pencil on craft paper wreath. it is gorgeous! It is winter school holidays here in NZ and I’m heading away on a road trip with my daughter tomorrow. Your pic has just inspired me to do some stamping after work today and pack up my pencils. I haven’t found much time to colour in this challenge but I have enjoyed seeing all the gorgeous pics others have uploaded. Thank you Kathy so much for organising these challenges. I know they take so much of your time and energy.

What terrific coloring Kathy. I try to color or create something every day, even if it’s not during one of your challenges. I find that creating something, even if it’s just designing a card layout on the computer is important to keeping me happy.

I really love how you did this card! I am always coloring something a different color then it should be & people call me on it. I sometimes say on my world they are that color & they just look at me like I’m nuts. I might say I just wanted to do something different. Besides, you & I have never seen all the plants & animals in the world so how do you know there isn’t something that color? So how do we know that there isn’t something in this world that looks like your card? So in your world, there are flowers & leaves this color! LOL I love colors & use a lot of them in my cards as you can see here when I post. What a great card & I would love to win that tote for my markers!

I would have never switched colors, and colored the flowers with greens, and the leaves with colors other than green! What a great idea! The addition of the white gel pen to your coloring makes it all pop! Fantastic coloring!

And I don’t necessarily color every day, but I do try, and plan to continue to, do something every day related to making cards. Either coloring, making backgrounds, assembling cards, or writing notes inside and getting a few cards in the mail.
