Pretty Pink Posh Product Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

 

Hello Friends, How are you? I hope you are having a good end of the summer! Currently we are away on vacation but, I had to participate the Pretty Pink Posh Product Release blog hop. My one layer card was created with two of the new beautiful stamp sets. The “Sunflowers” and  “Fall Signs“.

I had such fun creating these stamp sets using markers and colored pencils.

 

 

The little scare crow makes me smile and I thought it would be fun to place him in a field of sunflowers.

 

 

I stamped extra stems and drew a few more stems using a pencil for more impact.

 

 

Here is a photo of my progress …. always a first layer of color with markers. My go to ink for no line coloring.

 

 

In this photo I am creating some darker areas on the flowers. While I was coloring the shirt a bloop of color spit out on the left shoulder. I decided to make a patch out of bloop of color. I added another patch on the pants and on the hat.

    Such a great design!! Your card has a perfect balance of whimsy and color and fall fun! My sister-in-law (Mary Charles) is a painter of amish folk art and has created paintings with lots of sunflowers in them. Your card reminds me of some of her pieces. 🙂
