Hello Friends! Happy Day TWO to you. I am sure it might be hard to squeeze in some coloring if you are entertaining, have weekend plans or have children! Don’t forget you can color a petal on flower. Just something quick … 10 minutes … to get you out of your head and your mind off of the daily stresses of life.
Thank you all for inspiring me on Day 1. with all of your entries. It really truly makes me giddy with joy and happiness. Thank YOU!
Hey Pumpkin is one of those stamps that I reach for in the fall. It’s from last year and I still love it so much. Thanks to Honey Bee stamps for designing it! Initially this was watercolored using the same ink and paper that I always use.
I painted this a few weeks ago and pulled it out to finish it up. We are away for the weekend and I forgot my critical supplies OMG (pencil sharpener, paint brushes, sharpie, 0.03 fine tip marker and a white gel pen) I feel so lost with out them. I could swear I put it in my bag but, obviously I didn’t lol.
This beautiful tree in our neighborhood was my inspiration. The leaves on the top are missing so I am going for that partial look ….. sort of!
Adding clusters of leaves with four copic markers was fun. I found a gel pen to draw the eyes and mouth … not the same as my trusty fine tip sharpie … and the eye smudged… don’t use a gel pen! Since I didn’t have a pencil sharpener the lines on the pumpkin don’t look the way I would like but, I wanted more texture so I went for it.
As soon as I get a minute … I will be giving away all of these boxes of gently used stamps, possibly die cuts, supplies etc.
and I will have SIXTY goodie packs of stamps and some stamps and die cuts to giveaway during the challenge. YES you heard me right 60 … SIXTY! The winners will be randomly selected from comments on my blog and instagram from Day 1 through Day 29. That’s the basic info just need to formally type it up.
See you tomorrow. Hugs, Kathy

Thanks for getting us inspired Kathy and thanks for the generous giveaway!
Such a cute picture even if you did forget your basics! Thanks so much for sharing.
Day 2. I have learned so much from you about mixing watercolor or markers with colored pencil. This pumpkin is another demonstration of how using more than one art tool makes for a more beautiful creation. Thank you.
Thanks Patricia you are a sweetheart! 🙂 Thanks for the compliment!
Just proves you can craft no matter what you have. I have that stamp and love it too. Love the colouring and I’d not have noticed the smudge if you hadn’t mentioned it. Beautiful tree as well. The leaves are all gone here in Alberta.
Beverley I have to say I was in panic mode for a few minutes lol. Sorry your beautiful leaves are gone. 🙂
Really? That’s wonderful of you to take the time to do that for us. Your kindness matters. Thanks for sharing your tips.
What a beautiful fall card! I need to read up on joining the coloring fun!

You are very generous…and thank you for the inspiration!!
Love that pumpkin, beautifully colored as always!
Good morning Kathy!! I love using nature to inspire my coloring. Sunrises and sunsets, trees and flowers…”what COPIC color combo is this”? It makes me happy to see your picture of the beautiful tree. Here in Houston we don’t get much fall color, and I miss it so much!! And the boxes of goodness! Wowwwww!!! ❤️
Hi Becky, Honestly just “Color Pluck” a red, orange and yellow. It’s doesn’t matter what color so much. 🙂
Your coloring is so stunning! I hope to one day be as good and as artistic as you are, as well as other artists out there! I’m practicing!
Debbie happy you are practicing that’s all you need to do and don’t be afraid to use color! 🙂
Coloring has become a favorite pastime and I’m beginning to dabble more with watercolors. I love seeing what you accomplish and appreciate your descriptions as to how you achieved your effects. The learning is as much fun as the doing!!
Thanks for the inspiration and sharing your very sweet picture.

Wonderful card. Your coloring is always gorgeous. I envy you the view of those beautiful fall colors. Here is Texas our trees have not started turning yet, but the last week has been unseasonable cool (cold!), so expect it to start soon. I look forward to participating in the coloring challenge as often as I can. In fact, as soon as my clothes come out of the dryer I’m off to my craft room!
Hurrah! I so love your coloring challenges! And that pumpkin is incredible!
How awesome your pumpkin card is! Also terrific all the prizes. I am coloring and have images all ready–I’m cheating and using 12 x 12 paper that has images to color, like Color play and Adorn it. I’m going to turn the images into cards to give to my Mom, who lives in a senior living facility. Thanks for sponsoring this, as I plan to do an image every day.
Hey Sheri that’s not cheating at all. Just happy you are coloring and your mom is lucky! 🙂
Really Beautiful coloring!!! I love your partially covered trees!!

Your neighborhood tree is so bright & colorful. No wonder it inspired you to color these gorgeous fall colors on your own work. I always love to see what you’ve created.
I personally don’t think you should be so hard on yourself! The trees in my neck of the woods are only partially leafed out, I have smudges on my face, and my pumpkins lines are never crisp!!! Oh, and BTW, I love your work and what you do to excite and motivate the crafting community! You go, girl!!!
lol Thanks Sharon!! You are an awesome cheerleader!
Beautiful card! I love the colors!! And-WOAH!! That is a lot of boxes!! Such a generous give-a-way!

Oooh that is the sweetest Fall card Kathy – your pumpkin colouring is amazing, I just love Autumn and where we live in the sub tropics we don’t really get 4 seasons, but I do remember all those wonderful colours and shuffling through the fallen leaves as a kid (big kid too), and a funny thing, my mum will put Autumn leaves in her letters to me. Have a wonderful day, Robyn
Robyn I love that your mom will do that how sweet and special 🙂
Love following your blog. Makes me smile.
Thanks for making my day Titus 🙂
Your no line coloring is perfection!! Thanks for sharing.

So pretty. Love the boxes and boxes and boxes. You could build a box Christmas tree with them!
Amazing!
I love the colors of fall!
What a beautiful fall card. You are so inspiring. I just love your coloring!!!
Such beautiful coloring! I just love all of the little details!
I love this stamp you colored! It is so cute! How come though in one photo it looks more orange, the top photo & the one underneath looks more pink? Must be the lights. It is a great fall photo for sure. I love your coloring! We did pumpkins when I was in high school I think & we put them on our porch. 3 of them, one for each of us. Someone stole them & we were so upset until the police showed up in our driveway. We had no idea why they were there & they brought back our pumpkins! They caught who took them & brought them back to us all in one piece. The police are great! I just had to share that story because your pumpkin reminded me of it. If I can’t post my photos on here, I will post them on Facebook. Somehow, someway, everyone will get to see them.
Darn it, forgot to comment on your giveaway. Wow, that is quite a giveaway! I love it! I’d love to win but if I don’t, it’s okay. I will live! LOL Thanks for doing this for us! You are great, girl!
That pumpkin looks amazing!

Love the coloring on your image. Amazed at the transformation in color as it progressed.
I love the way your watercolors and Copic coloring always have such depth. I look forward to learning from you in Eustis in December.
I just love this image! i wish I took the time to color more of my fall stamps, instead of thinking I need to jump right into Christmas.
Such a cute autumn themed card. Love the tree you used for inspiration.
Simply darling. Gorgeous colors.
Love this stamp set! Thanks for all the coloring inspiration. Keep the challenges coming. I’m doing my best to to color each day.
Love that you show your beautiful works of art but really appreciate you giving a detailed account of the process. Find that not only helpful but also inspiring. Thanks so much Kathy.
When I first spotted those boxes, I thought you were moving house … in the middle of a challenge …
Hopefully, the current challenge will be a bit more relaxing for you than the last one, Kathy. Love your sweet image and colouring. I had intended to spend lots of time in my craftroom today, but the weather was so glorious, I put my summer clothes back on (shorts and top) and took a book outside. Still, I did manage to do some colouring this weekend. Yay!
Marianne x
Even without your usual supplies this looks so beautiful!
Love your card and the partial leaf look! That stamp is adorable! Looking forward to a month of coloring!
Wow Kathy.. that is amazing generosity. You are the coloring bomb. I’m so looking forward to the road trip in two weeks. 🙂
LOVE this awesome card!!
Your card looks perfect to me, Kathy! Really love your trees with some leaves already fallen! Amazing prize packages!
Oh, my, I think I need that stamp set with the little girl on the pumpkin! I always called one of our children pumpkin as she grew up. She’s close to 40 and was the youngest. Your card is sublime! And thank you for all you do and give away.
That is a huge destash. I love when others are honest in their creative journey about challenges and oops moments.
I always love your before and after picks where you add another coloring step! Makes such a big difference!! And thank you for all the amazing giveaways!
It is so amazing what you achieve with your coloring challenge! Not only the coloring itself (which would be more than sufficient for those 30 days!!!), but all this organization on top. Thank you so much again for your efforts here. Your coloration today is sooo beautiful! Even though you say it was improvised here and there!
Kind regards from stempelfrida
That card is so so cute!
Thanks for your generosity Kathy – the time and energy you put into these colouring challenges amazes me!
Your card is gorgeous!
The image is one of my faves as my husband’s pet name for me is Pumpkin! Your coloring is amazing, and I like how you shared your adaptability when you didn’t have the supplies you wanted. It’s ok to be flexible and you achieved a beautiful end result even if it’s not what you originally intended!
I read how you left your favourite tools at home, and I know that feeling. I’ve sometimes gone to crafty get-togethers and discovered my best tools were left behind. The difference between you and me though, is that I’d have given up and frittered the time away doing nothing in particular, but that you found other ways to achieve a final finish using different tools that you did have with you. And that final card is fabulous! I should learn from you, next time I won’t give up x
I love how you added some pink and red to the pumpkin…it adds the perfect touch of realism.
I totally feel you on the forgetting to pack supplies, but I do impress myself with what i can pull off & am impressed with what you did as well!
Love all the fall colors and your beautiful card. I was visiting my kids in San Francisco so didn’t have time to do any coloring this weekend. I did have time to shop for art supplies though!! Bought a few new pens and a watercolor pencil to try.
Wow – this is AMAZING Kathy! I am so inspired by your work!
Hola, Kathy, from San Antonio, Texas, where we hit 80*F today. We don’t really get much Fall, but that pretty tree is so lovely. Great coloring! tu amiga, Marisela

Love your no line coloring Kathy! ❤
Thank you for the giveaways!
With three young kids (one of them is only 10 months old) I don’t have a lot of time to work on my coloring so it’s so wonderful that you break it down into little bits. Thank you for the tips and hints, and for making it okay to be a beginner!
This one is really eye catchy…
Just love the shades of pumpkin patches…
Adorable coloring Kathy! I hope to carve out some time soon for practice on no line coloring 🙂 You are truly an inspiration, thank you for all you do and for your generosity!
Stunning card and coloring!
That pumpkin is fabulously coloured, even if it isn’t quite how you want it. I’ve got to say that is a lot of boxes which are filled with goodies that will make 60 people super happy. What a generous prize!
WOW Kathy, I am SO far behind on my emails. EEEK! Playing catch-up now but managing to get some colouring in. I lost my beloved MIL in Sept. who lived next door to me for 40 yrs. so I am still adjusting to my new norm, I miss her so much 🙁
For not having all of your supplies with you, you sure are managing quite satisfactorily. Love the trees with the partial leaves, it looks about right for the season. ‘)
Thanks for the chance to win one of your generous giveaways, you are so sweet. (((HUGS)))
I love the soft look of it! Here in SoCal the leaves are still green – will need to use your photo for inspiration!

Interesting thing happening here. When I press post comment it says I already said that… but I haven’t. I suppose I need to use different adjectives to describe your lovely work.

Hi Kathy, I took your class last year at My Favorite Things and it was awesome. I have learned so much since then from your posts. I would love to be a winner. Thank you for everything you do for those of us that need help coloring. Jana

PS – for some reason I can’t leave a comment on Day 1, so I thought I would take the opportunity to say how WONDERFUL your stencilled projects were. I have just started collection distress inks, stencils and daubers with some blending brushes in transit too, so I look forward to giving them a workout, maybe even add some backgrounds around my coloured images => THANK YOU for INSPIRING 🙂
