Day 9. First Batch of Winners

Hello Friends, Happy weekend to you! Ahhhh finally I am back home and loving every second of it.  Next week I head to Gina K. Designs beautiful  store for one of my Road Trips. Super exited to see some of you and meet some of you.

On another note …. hello internet and wifi!  I didn’t realize I was so spoiled with a good connection.

Today I am super EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE  the first batch of 60 winners as  seen in this post.

Now for today’s coloring. I am so in love with this sweet parade from Mama Elephant called Animal Parade and I am thrilled to have a masculine card on hand.

When I was at the Mama Elephant’s Anniversary party I was able to do some coloring demos. This is what I was demoing and sharing how to use the Copic Blending solution to add texture. A technique that I  always use and it’s so simple!

I had a 3.5 hour plane ride ahead of me so I packed this for my return trip from AZ to home.

Search your colored pieces at home and see what you might want to add.  I found it very relaxing  to finish this card panel.

    Congrats everyone. Great texture on your beautiful card Cathy. I failed to colour yesterday, but hope to get a bit done this evening. I had been keeping up quite well. I have a plane trip on Tuesday so maybe I’ll take some images with me and use the time productively. Hugz

    I use your tip for texture also on other mediums, I don’t have Copics, it’s always great to use.

    I have a set from Ma Ma Elephant like this & I LOVE IT TOO!!!! I have recently fallen in love with those CUTE little faces their critters have! 😉 Your textured coloring is WONDERFUL, Kathy! I keep forgetting to do this when using Alcohol Markers! I’ll have to make note of it on my swatch chart so I won’t forget again! LOL AGAIN, THANK YOU, Kathy!!!! ;)<3

    Your animal parade pals look super furry and I like your technique. I will have to try that next time I color in some critters.
    Even on the plane you coloring looks marvy! Bad Wi-Fi is all we have so I am often offline when I don’t want to be and we love in a huge suburb outside DC! Must be the 1960’s construction beams.

    Your coloring of the critters is awesome.

    I have along plane ride as i am going to see my daughter and grand daughter God willing next month. Now as i am improving i can proudly try to color on the plane i am not sure lets give it a try. I am coloring daily and i have to upload my coloring samples for which i have to find some time. I color the pieces and put the date and keep so that i can upload all when i find some time. I write all your tips on a book. I am an old fashioned book type person as i want to keep it near me. May you and your family be blessed with gd health and happiness always.
