Hello Friends! How are you? I am popping in today to celebrate Honey Bee’s annual Twelve Designers of Christmas Celebration at the Honey Bee Stamps blog! I am thrilled to be participating and today is Day 12. Check out their previous days for loads of inspiration.
My goal today was to create 8 quick and adorable tags without to much fuss and in a timely fashion!
Simple is difficult for me and I am proud that I was able to stick to creating something simple with these darling “Snow Buddies“. I wasn’t going for green snow people but, sometimes things don’t always go perfectly but, I made them work. My paper was hot press and I don’t like anything about it. Cold press yes please!
During the holidays I don’t like spending money on packaging and I do my best to cut down on boxes and such. My gift bags were from Anthropologie when I purchased some ornaments for gifts I asked for some small gift bags. The “ribbon” I used is raffia because it’s not plastic ribbon. I am trying to be more mindful of other ways to reduce the plastic in our lives. 30 years ago my gifts were wrapped so exquisitely but, I have let all that go.
Honey Bee’s “Snow Buddies” just make me smile. This year the boys and girls will be wearing matching p.j. bottoms on Christmas morning and now I have a fun way to make this gift more fun & festive with my tag!
I had some of this tape for the glitter strip at the bottom of my tag. This tape is the most amazing. It was really easy to lift off the backing plus it’s nice and thick and soooo easy to handle. LOVE!!! For the snow balls I used a dollop of Gina K. Designs glue and poured on the glitter. The best part is I had a great time making these. It is possible to whip up some gift tags in the midst of everything else I am proof of that.
I hope you all are doing good. Sharing photos soon of my trip to the MFT boutique. Thanks for your visit. Hugs, Kathy

VERY PRETTY, Kathy!!!! That little snow man IS ADORABLE!!! I LOOOVE ALL the glitter too!!! I’ve been told, you can NEVER have too many tags!!! I think they’re right! I sent a bunch to a friend, & had to make some more for myself! LOL JUST IN CASE, we don’t have a chance to tell you before Christmas, ” MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!” ;)<3
These are Soooooo Adorable!!!
These are the jolliest snowmen I’ve ever seen, so delightful on your sweet tags!

Merry Christmas and
Thank You
So fun and cute!
Your tags are so adorable! The snow buddies are really fun and I love all the glitter details you’ve added. 🙂
Your tags are fantastic. Love them.
These tags are simply adorable. ❤ I think it is fantastic that you are trying to reduce your plastic use as I am too. I hope you have a very wonderful Christmas.
Glitter makes everything better! Love those tags you made!
Gorgeous Kathy–love the cute snowman tags and red bags are great! Many years ago I made fabric bags, from Christmas fabric, with ribbons sewn at the top to close the bags. Those bags are reused every year, we have them in tiny to huge sizes–gifts (and other fun “decoy”) are added to the bag, usually with the true “gift” at the bottom of the bag, requiring the receiver to dig out all the other “stuff” in the bag.
Sounds like a fun tradition!
I love your sweet buddies! The bags are genius. I always try to regift bags. Some I get are pretty spectacular. You should be proud of yourself, I know I’m proud of you… received my package from Patti today. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. Such a fun early Christmas present.
Oh my goodness, absolutely adorable! Such sweet designs with amazing texture and sparkle from the glitter.
I love the simplicity of these tags and all the beauty and sparkle you created! They are perfect!
Love your tags!
Love the icy cold snowmen with their glittery accessories. I know everyone will be enchanted with their packages! Handmade elements just say, “love” in my book.

Your green snowman art simply adorable. Great job and thank you for sharing.
What a wonderful set of tags! Love this stamp set! And the glitter is an excellent addition! Thank you for the inspiration!
Your tags look so pretty all lined up on their gift bags. Wonderful job on them! Happy holidays!
Cute and simple tags. Love the coloring and glitter on tags. Thanks for sharing.
They’re adorable Kathy! And I love your packaging!
The last 3 years I use Kraft wrapping paper, no scotch tape in order to reduce the use of plastic. I use twine instead of ribbons. I love the simplicity and the recycling factor.
Xoxo Olga
These tags are the cutest ever. Love all your great coloring.
I love all the pretty sparkle as well as the dimension.
And simple or not, they pack a big punch of cuteness!!
Oh my Kathy those snow buddies are adorable! I love your tags and honestly I think those green snowmen are gorgeous, love the colour!
Thank you for sharing and have a great weekend!
This snowman has to be my all time favorite! Your tags are cute. Love all the sparkle. I love to make my own bags or wrapping for recycled material but it does make a full and messy craft room for the holidays. 🙂
A very cute snowman and love that glitter. Hugz
super cute!
These are delightful. they make me smile every time I look at them. They would go in my “keeper” box.
… dare I say “SIMPLY DARLING”?!?!?
Your snow buddies make me SMILE, they are SO CUTE and they have the PERFECT amount of SPARKLE and COOL glittery glue snowballs 🙂
THANK YOU for sharing and INSPIRING … and for the top tips too, I’ve been using twine but think the rafia texture is an added bonus, as are the smaller store bags!
So cute with this snowman and love the sparkle. I like the gift wrapping tips too.
Snow cute, love that you’ve managed to stick to a simple yet stunning look. Will look fantastic under a tree, great job x
Also extremely pleased to see another crafter doing her bit for the environment. As you know there is still far far to much excessive packaging out there, more so plastic. I’m so glad to hear that it’s not just me that’s reducing the usage of it, even though like you I used to love having my given gifts all wrapped up beautifully in excess paper & bows. Merry Christmas to you & family x
