Hello Friends, How are you all holding up? Not to put words in your mouth but, I am guessing mixed feelings? Stressed? Hopefully healthy! I just found out that someone near and dear to the coloring challenge and me has been diagnosed with Covid-19!! I am praying that she’s ok!
Feels so good coloring a flower again after that rainbow cyclone watercolor the past few days lol. This sweet “Potted Lily” is what I inked up today.
What do you think of the flowers on flowers? Why the small hand? It’s prettier than mine especially if my nails are unpolished.
For the background I was going for a quick color.
My favorite part is how the flowers extend on to the planter … kinda fools the eye.
Tomorrow I won’t be posting my coloring here but, will share it on Instagram. I am praying that each and everyone of you is ok, safe and healthy. Hugs, Kathy
P.S. There are 3 ways to share what you are coloring. If you want to join a community of coloring enthusiasts I recommend Instagram or FaceBook . Be sure to tag me and use the hashtag #thedailymarker30day. Kids & young adults use #thedailymarker30daykids.

As expected, you did an amazing job on this card. Adore your color combination, your background is adorable, but your vase and flowers are simply stunningly gorgeous with the extended look. One of my favorites to date

Wow Kathy this is so beautiful. I want to colour (and did tidy my craft room yesterday) but so far this time….nothing! Since loosing my dear MIL last September I have been keeping busy cleaning my house as it is therapeutic for me. I have only made a couple of cards in months, one of which was a beautiful sympathy card that took me a half a day to make in January and I still haven’t sent it
I am hoping to get back into my colouring/card making soon but right now I am too busy with other things…soon though. I am determined to not get down and depressed about what I cannot change however, I am putting my energy right now into home and what I may need for the future.
I will pray for your friend as I continue to do so for everyone, be KIND everyone and PATIENT with those still working on our behalf. Those folks who work in drugstore and grocery stores are sacrificing a LOT, for us!
Be well everyone!

I am sorry for your loss and understand the disappearance of your crafting joy. My daughter tried and almost killed herself on February 11/20.
This is a very difficult time, but I enjoy seeing what other people are doing. Take car of your self and also be kind to yourself.

I love this one a lot! I love how you did the background! This is more like you! I like this stamp but I’m not sure if I like it enough to buy it. I like what you did with it. You always get so creative with your cards & you do things I would never think to do. I don’t get how you did the background though. You show it in gold, then you show it with the black flower in the pot, then the background is partially colored than the background is all colored but the flower in the flower pot isn’t. I don’t get how you did that. Maybe it’s just me, all this staying in is getting to me. It’s not like I go to a lot of places but being told I can’t leave my house & I have to stay home is a pain. Mom & I are fine. Mom is 92 & I am 65. Mom is definitely in that age group & they say I am too. Mom has a slight heart problem & slight COPD so those could be bad I guess for someone with her problems. She also has high blood pressure. Me, I haven’t been sick in about 10 years & this is from someone who was sick a lot all the time. The only problem I have is Thyroid & my seasonal allergies are acting up. I don’t expect that I will suddenly get sick. We are in lockdown right now so I can’t catch anything. I have had to go to the store but I haven’t come in contact with anybody. The cashiers have Plexiglas in front of them when they wait on you. What a sad world we are living in right now.
