Altenew 6th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 1 + Giveaway

Hello Friends, How are you today? I hope this blog post finds you healthy and finding some joy in each day.

I am popping in to celebrate Altenew’s 6th Birthday with a blog hop and loads of inspiration. A big and warm Happy Birthday to Altenew! To start at the beginning of the hop go to the Altenew Card Blog here. If you are coming from the talented Emily Midgett ‘s blog you are in the right place.

It’s pretty neat that Altenew’s encloses printed cards with the stamp set. The beautiful stamp I am using today is “Wallaper Art“. I love that the petals are  nice and open space for an easy color! If a petal is to small I find it more frustrating to color.

You can cut the cards out and use them or save them for card inspiration. I decided to duplicate the card on the right  and the process was so enjoyable.

Minimal markers and a few pencils to pull this card off. Thanks Altenew for the inspiration.

All I needed to mask was the flower.

On another note I love that Altenew is donating money to different relief organizations that are working to help vulnerable populations. Watch this short video to learn more.

Are you finding coloring essential right now? I know I am. The background behind my card is something I drew for a type of meditation with a Sharpie. This particular one isn’t finished yet but, made a good backdrop.

In this photo I used only markers. If you are wondering yes, I did color pluck.

Adding the pencil made my coloring pop and helps bridge the two colors. Please keep on sharpening that pencil!
