Hello Friends! Welcome to Day 10. I can’t believe it’s the tenth day of The 30 Day Coloring Challenge already! Today I have some pencil work to share with you.
I have always admired people that stamp and stack animals so I took the opportunity to stamp a stack. The name makes me chuckle … “Way to Goat” from Honey Bee stamps.
One of my mantras is to use markers before you color with pencils PLUS it’s a good time saver. All I needed was some kraft paper, Warm Glow ink, pencils and I was set.
*This was colored over the course of a few days and the final touches were my coloring for today.
As you can see this looks pretty awful and that’s part of the process. If you take your time and play around the image your coloring will show the effort. After I finished the first layer of color I was ready for pencils.
That’s it for today and I hope to see you tomorrow. Hugs, Kathy

Such a fun card, Kathy. I have used coloured pencils on kraft before but I have never tried putting down a layer of markers first. Thanks for the inspiration. Hope you are staying safe and healthy.

What a fun and cute card. The colored pencils really gave the animals the wow factor and I didn’t know to use markers first. Great colors you chose and love the kraft paper.
