Hello Friends, Happy Saturday! If you are new to my blog a warm welcome to you. If you are here for The 30 Day Coloring Challenge today is Day 25!! Crazy how time flies but, I doubt I need to tell you that! (If you have any questions about the coloring challenge you can refer to this post ).
Today I have a special package deal if you are like me …. always looking for that deal! Thank You to Colorado Craft Company!
The Big & Bold Honey Bee and the Big & Bold Majestic Moth are on my ah ha list and I seriously love them so much. With that said I pretty much love everything I use and never ever use something I don’t like.
I could stamp and die cut a million of these for shaped cards.
I stamped the Big & Bold Moth and the Butterfly on Arches cold press paper with Amalgam Black Ink (great for any medium). The size of these big and bold stamps are great for little hands or compromised hands. Easy to color, ink and or paint!
*When I ordered the stamps regretfully I did NOT order the die cuts! All of these were fussy cut with some good scissors.
Any chance you can tell which bee took longer to color? Do you have a favorite? The army green bee was so much faster to paint. I dropped color around the outside edges of the wings using the wet on wet method. On the blue wings I dropped color in each separate section of the wings.
Now about that special bundle pricing from Colorado Craft Company! The bundle is called, “Kathy Racoosin 2 Bundle” which includes the
Big & Bold~Honey Bee Clear Stamp Set 6 x 6
Big & Bold~Majestic Moth Clear Stamp Set 6 x 6
Big & Bold~Majestic Moth Dies 6 x 6
If you choose the bundle pricing it’s 15% off PLUS free shipping for US and flat rate for International only $5.00 wow!! But, wait … all of their Christmas items will be on sale at 15% off !.
I have to admit I am partial to the big & bold series and this is a good time to pick up the Big & Bold – Holly & Berries at 15% off. See my unconventional holly below … Holly can work for any time of the year!
See you tomorrow and thank YOU for your visit and a special shout out to Colorado Craft Company for the special pricing! Woo Hoo! Hugs, Kathy

Only you could color bugs and make me love them! I especially love the yellow and blue bee. Amazing!
Ha! Thanks for the compliment!
Whoever would think a bee could be so pretty!!!
TFS
Thanks!
Thanks! Appreciate it
Your bees and moths are lovely!!!!
TFS
Thank you
Wow! IMO the blue bee was worth the extra effort although I would probably opt for the easy way. I love how they look against the golden tones of the background! Bet the dies are in your basket! Great fussy cutting though.
Thank you!
I love big bugs! And jewel beetles! There was an old tradition of telling the bees your news. So nice to see you colouring some.
I have never heard of that tradition! Thanks for sharing.
Ooooooooooooooooow so lovely. What a fantastic deal from CC too. Can’t get over the international shipping fee, I see so many beautiful stamps you have over in the state’s but usually the international shipping cripples me buying them. I have fallen in craft lust with a lot of CC sets, the hold range are so unique, love them. Stay safe and healthy, look forward to tomorrow’s post x
Thank you! Their stamps really are beautiful.
These giant insects are beautiful. I would transform them as stained glass
projects. You do not sell in Québec Canada. Well, I shall keep admiring your beautiful work of art with these Big & Bold Honey Bee and the Big & Bold Majestic Moth.
Merci, for your artwork
Yolande
Thank you for the kind words.
I love all your coloring , they are all so gorgeous.
Thank you Eleanor
The MOST beautiful bugs, ever!! I love Colorado Crafts big and bold stamps. The best!
Thanks Anne! They were fun to color.
I never thought I’d say bugs were beautiful, but yours are!!!!
Ha! Thanks!
I love these great big bugs & your coloring is perfect! The army green bee is my favorite! He would blend right in with the greenery!
THanks so much!
I’m not a fan of bugs in general but I love how you colored these winged creatures, Kathy!! That blue -winged bee was definitely worth the extra time to color!!
Thanks so much. They are fun to color even if we don’t always enjoy them in real life!
Love how you made the bees and moths look so majestic with your colouring. There is a lot of detail in those bee legs! Your fussy cutting is tremendous- I would have chopped off a leg or something else!
Thankfully I like to fussy cut! Thanks for your kind words.
So beautiful!
Thanks so very much Marisela
I never really pictured myself coloring bees; but I can now.
Right? They are such fun images.
Oh my gosh, I hate bugs! With a passion! I’m so glad I don’t live outside because although I want to be loved, I don’t want to be loved by bugs & they love me! LOL I love the colors you used, I really do! I love butterflies though. This year, probably because of the virus, our greenhouse had late blooming Lantana’s, the butterfly & humming bird flower. They said butterflies are becoming extinct & I believe it because not one butterfly has showed up to feast from my flowers. I am so sorry I am so late in coming into the coloring challenge! I didn’t like the way you did it last month &I thought you would be doing it that way again. I love it this way! Please always do it this way!
These look amazing!!
Thanks a lot!
Beautiful bees and I love the red holly leaves!
Thank you
I love the green bee. The hints of red and yellow really add a nice touch. Who am I kidding, I love them all, and wish I could watercolor like that, LOL!
LOL. They are fun to color for sure.
These are absolutely stunning, Kathy! They look so luxurious. Talk about a Queen Bee!
Queen for sure! Thanks for your kind words.
I own these sets so excited to try your ideas!
Have fun coloring them
Ice Cream. I screamed when I first saw this ice cream cone, and love that it’s so huge. Great to color even for those of us who struggle!
These large images are great to color. You are right that you don’t have to deal with little images.
Both your moths and bees are looking amazing, Kathy! And well done on the fussy cutting!
Marianne x
Thanks so much
Beautifully done!
Thank you
Wow…love the moth!
Thank you
This is gorgeous Kathy. Well done on Fussy cutting those legs and antennae!
Thanks!
And, fabulous background too!
Thank you Donna!
These bees and moths are gorgeous!! I guessed wrong — I thought the green bee took the longest! I really enjoy your 30 day coloring challenges!!!
Thanks so much Bernie
Amazing insects!!!!!
Thanks so much Lagene!
I don’t know how you fussy cut those so perfectly. I love big old fat Bumble Bees and have only seen one this year. My favorite is the blue one. Cool and unique!!
Thank you!
BIG, BOLD and BEAUTIFUL!
Bugs are fascinating , the colours and patterns are amazing … you can see where many of the SciFi creatures really originated from 😉
This is too much!! Yes! Simon Says Color!
