Hello Friends, How are you doing? Are you experiencing the joys of coloring and decompressing? I hope so … I know it’s hard to find the time but, when you do I hope you feel the rewards coloring can bring. It is proven that coloring can lower your blood pressure yes please!
Drawing lines with my trusty pencil and ruler is so relaxing and mindless. If I am watching TV with my hubby this is the perfect thing to busy myself. Once he goes to bed I start painting.
Yesterday I mentioned my Daniel Smith paints and where I purchased them. Most of you know that I love finding antique salt holders for my water when I am watercoloring. This particular one is a vase and the scalloped top is perfect for a brush. Such fun!
All finished and ready to use for a background. Off to see what you all are coloring and sharing.
See you tomorrow and thank YOU for your visit it’s always so appreciated! Hugs, Kathy

Beautiful, Kathy! I love these line paintings you do. They remind me of those meditation mazes. There’s something so zen about them!
Kathy Racoosin says
They are very relaxing to do.

Fantastic evenings work Kathy. I like the geometric look to it but it also gives me the image of really close up to a roses edges. Might just give this a try one evening or actually whilst I’m bed bound again due to the osteoarthritis I’ve n my spine might try drawing one up then. Stay safe, healthy and happy colouring x

Your drawings have reminded me of something I use to draw lots of when I wanted to do something mindless. I might have to give it a go as I need to do something that doesn’t involve thought. I lost my Dad on Day 1 of the challenge and I’m not up to much creatively. I tried yesterday to make a simple rainbow card and ended up just making lots of silly mistakes. I do enjoy colouring so I’m hoping that I can take some time out over the next few days especially now that I’m back to work after the funeral.

I am so sorry for your loss Julie. I can understand your struggle. May I offer a suggestion? Just coloring. Don’t even think about the result or making it perfect, just do it to relax and escape. Take care
