Hello Friends! Welcome to Day 8. Thank you for returning each day and for posting your inspiring coloring !! f you are taking it all in from the sidelines a big thanks to you for watching!
*** On another note all winners for my Giveaway Incentive have been announced here.
Simon Says Stamp had a new release last week and I didn’t have a chance to participate in the blog hop but, wow so much inspiration. So many are enjoying this beautiful mermaid stamp set called, “Be A Mermaid” Love it!
The mermaid tail was linked up with … you guessed it … Gina K. Designs Warm Glow ink. Copic markers were my first layer of color.
To add highlights and accents I used colored pencils on top of the marker. Cutting up the waves I was able to add five layers instead if three to my window card below. I stamped a sentiment on some heavy weight vellum and added lots of Lucy’s sequins!
See you tomorrow and thank YOU again for your visit. Hugs, Kathy

Your waves are magnificent as is your mermaid tail! My favorite card of yours in a while!
Thank you
Fabulous card! That mermaid tail is gorgeous and the waves are stunning!
I love these, Kathy! I need to try brown more often for the shadows. I adore those waves, too!!
Thanks so much
WOW!! This is GORGEOUS!!! That water is breathtaking!!
Appreciate your kind words Nora.
I just love this! I love the colours and shading. It’s funny, I use brown and French grey for my shading when I use my prismacolor pencils but I don’t think to use it when I Copic colour or watercolour. Might have to try that in the future.
Thank you Julie
WOW ! Really loving your waves, so much fun with all the colours. Who doesn’t want to be a mermaid if they got a chance, even just a day ! Off to care on a piece it inspired me to do . Stay safe, healthy and most importantly happy creating with colour x
Thanks so much
This is incredible!!! JAW ON FLOOR!
Thanks Meghan!
Love how you changed the design of the mermaid’s tail. Your waves looks so cool too!
Thank so much
Your tail and waves are SO, SO beautiful! Thanks for sharing. I don’t know what I am doing vis-à-vis posting things to you (or to Gina’s site either, for that matter), but I am coloring. You’re an inspiration. Thanks!!
So glad you are coloring!
Love your card and love water and mermaids. Wonder if you didn’t realize your “ sending vitamin sea “ is upside down or if it was a late night oops. I’ve done several of those mostly not deliberate. Occasionally it’s just to see if my relatives are really alive and well.
Looking forward to more fun during this 30 day coloring adventure.
Did I notice the oops? Not until now! Oops!
I wasn’t too excited about a mermaid tail stamp until I saw your card, Kathy! Totally amazing coloring on the tail and the waves and I love how you featured them in the circle window. Still with you on the challenge – hope to continue posting every day!
Thanks so much Linda
Stunning work Kathy! I love the way you layered the waves~
Thanks so much Marlena
Beautiful Kathy! This card is so magical! ♀️
Thanks Rhonda
This is stunning Kathy
Thank you
Love how you tucked her tail into the
waves. Some examples I’ve seen
haven’t done that and it ruins
the illusion. thanks for sharing
