Day 2. Not Your Traditional Holiday Colors

Hello Friends! How are you? It’s Day 2. of The Daily Marker Coloring Challenge. I love seeing what you are coloring it makes me so happy. Right now Instagram is not accepting hashtags so it’s going to be a struggle to comment and find you. Hopefully it will be restored soon. Don’t forget coloring can bring you some peace and or joy. I know it’s hard to find even 10 minutes in your day. I have to share this text I received this morning.

Sometimes coloring is getting into a new routine. I hope you don’t mind if I share this text with you. Just trying to gently nudge you to find some you time for whatever it is.

Peace is something we always need especially now and I hope you are doing what you need to do to feel at peace within yourself. Recently I added yoga to my routine and it’s been so nice.

This gorgeous stamp is from Simon Says Stamp “Center Cut Holiday Floral” inked up with my favorite “no line coloring” ink from Gina K. Designs.

Can you believe that I added black to the nook & crannies? Since the purple is so dark black was the only way to go. I strive for a contrasting color when filling in those tiny areas. Small amounts is necessary. If you are on the fence about purchasing the big box of Karin markers SSS has the best price on the market. I just bought one for a giveaway incentive I am working on.

    Not only is this my favorite color combo – for anything! – “Peace” is my very favorite word! This is just stunning!! I would display this all year long – even in Fall with a different color scheme. LOL

    I think this holiday the colors are quite bright and cheerful… I think we all can use that right now… I love this stamp and that black was the perfect choice. Lovely job!

    This is so gorgeous! I love the purple and blue-green colors are so pretty together! I’m determined to paint at least 10 minutes every day for this 11 day challenge…once I’m started, it usually ends up longer. Such fun! Thanks for doing this Kathy!
