Hello Friends, Hows it going? For Day 25. I have a quick post 🙂
This card set was easy to finish up but, required some time. On Day 11. I watercolored these cards  with the stamp set called, “Funny Food“…. the sayings & images are soooo F.U.N.  I was determined to finish them.
I added a few grey halos around each image with some copic markers …then four layers of glossy accents.
After the second layer of glossy accents you need to give the glossy accents a full night to dry after each layer … so it takes several nights lol … patience right. The texture is delicious and oh so lovely but so worth the extra time you need to give them to dry.
I love Tim Holtz bright white watercolor paper. To get the cards to stand up I cut the tip (from the die cut) off the back of the card so it’s straight and flat and will not rock on the table.

Fun food set! Amazing how much just a little bit of colored pencil work adds to the image, really sets it off and makes it POP.

I ordered that food stamp set. Just got the other day.. It’s one that I stamped but not colored yet. I like the layers of glossy. Makes a difference.
The video plays for 30 sec. then stops and goes back to beginning. I don’t know if that is what it’s suppose to do.

That Stamp Set is just too adorable Kathy! It is on my list. I am trying to resist temptation and wait until the end of the challenge to buy but am compiling a list as we go along LOL. Your card set is so sweet and the grey halo and glossy accents make your beautiful colouring come to life 🙂 xo

I don’t know if I’d have the patience to wait 4 days for each layer of GA to finishing drying, but I am good about setting things aside “to finish later.” 😉 I really liked the close up of the shading with the pencils. Lovely work, as always.
The glossy accents actually dries quite quickly. Instead of applying a heaping amount to begin with, if you apply a small amount, then let dry for 10-20min before re-applying it can be done much faster. 🙂
I only ever do a maximum of 2 layers of glossy accents. I am so impatient! But these look great, so I will change the habit of a lifetime and give it a go

Never would have thought to use FOUR layers of glossy accents! Wish I could see these in person! Guess I’ll have to give it a go 😀
These are to cute but….with me on a diet and yes doing very well….lost 33 lbs so far. These stamps would send me into a craving attack lol.

Adorable!!! I am not patient when it comes to the use of glossy accents but that’s usually cause I’m right on my deadline and don’t have 2 or 3 days to let it set. I agree its worth the wait though :o).
