Hello Everyone!! I am shaking in my booties … it’s Day 27! Wow how time flies when you are having fun…. maybe I should preface that and say when I am having fun lol.
STAMPtember is such a fun time of year and I am lucky to be able to work with some of the exclusive stamp sets. This set called, “Magical Wishes” was a must have. The die cut “Frond Collage” seemed perfect to create a little garden type scene for the lantern to hang from.
Here is a video sharing my process. Max is barking a little bit at the end … my apologies.
Loading up this watercolor paper with some distress ink for a galaxy card was fun.
Thanks for your continued visits and see you tomorrow. Hugs, Kathy

Lovely! I like the way you did the background and then cut the leaves out for the window… it’s very moonlight-ish. Cute fairies!

Max barking is NOT annoying! 😉 I’m SURE he doesn’t think so either. He’s just watching out FOR YOU! 😉 AND your card looks FABULOUS, Kathy! I LOVE the depth of color you did to the background & ALL of your little tips & tricks! 😉 What a SWEET SCENE you’re created! HOPE you are feeling better! I don’t know HOW you did the video & painting! When I get headaches, I’m USUALLY in bed for the day! LOL Rest up! 😉

Oh Kathy, this is so beautiful. However, you should have stayed in bed, we all would have understood. I started the day with a headache the other day and ended up sicker after lunch. It was about 90 degrees F & very humid and I was under a duvet freezing by 3 o’clock. NOT good! I was feeling much improved by the next day and I sure hope you do too by tomorrow. Now, please, go get some rest! {{{HUGS}}}

Hi Kathy, wow a challenge and I am just now out of the hospital. I had my total left knee replacement done and wouldn’t you know it…I got an infection. So back to surgery and now trying to do rehab with a wound vac on and still trying to color wow it’s been interesting. I did do some zig clean color watercoloring while in hospital. Nurses all loved it. Beautiful card today and now I get to play catch up.

Oh Kathy, I laught out so loud that my daughter ask me if everything whas alride. When you started need and tide with a brush and then decidet that that was not working for you. It was if I heard myself talking. It’s much more fun and colourfull when you do it this way, gorgeous! Love your card, its so cute.
Thanks that you made the video, despite of your headache. Hope you soon felt better.

Crying babies and barking dogs cannot always be shut up when we want! If that’s all people can think or talk about, it’s time they got a real life! I was more worried about you.
It sounds like you need a few days in bed sipping ginger-ale and OJ! Please take care of you. And I noticed the second layer of leaves and wondered how you did it. It adds so much. Love how you created the “glow!”

Fascinating project! I loved your video. No need to apologize for Max. That was not an issue at all. I felt bad for you though, as you did not sound well. Beautiful techniques. Thanks for sharing!

I left a comment on U-tube.. I had to come back and see a close up photo again. I love the colors you used and the way you did the colored leaves and branches and dies. The clouds in the back ground and the darling image. I love the cuteness of them. Again I hope you’re feeling better and happy anniversary.. I love hearing Max bark.. He needs to get his two cents in.. Thanks for the great video and way to stretch your dies.

I really love the background, Kathy, so vibrant! The little fairy girl is precious! Belated congratulations on your anniversary! I hope you had fun! I really enjoyed your video – I always learn something!

Wow, Kathy! I was mesmerized watching you put together the galaxy background. Next time I’m going to use my ink pads to create it instead of the paint brush as I was getting frustrated with it the last time I attempted to make a galaxy. I also loved the cutting tip you gave – I’m filing that away for the future!! I need to get a Memento black marker so I can add the edging detail (and leave it out in plain sight!). LOL
Loved hearing Max bark and I totally understand getting in the zone so I’m glad you left his barking in. I miss hearing my dog bark, especially whenever Big Brown pulled into the driveway! For a spunky schnauzer, she sure sounded like she was bigger than she was in real life! LOL
