Hi Kathy,
Did you mean Eustis Florida? I live about 45 minutes from there and it is the home of My Favorite Things. I am hoping this is where you will be for the Coloring Challenge Road Trip!!
Kathy Racoosin says
YESSSS Merry that is it!! OMG I spelled it wrong thank YOU. Hugs, Kathy
Yay I will get to meet you 🙂

WOW, there is so much more depth & dimension in the 2nd photo just from the added colour in those nooks and crannies. Also these images ARE beautiful.
We had a little sun here over the weekend but it is still cold for this time of year. However, there was no snow so I can live with the cold a while longer… My weekend consisted of some housework and a little crafting. Overall, not a bad weekend!

Stunning and love that birdie!
Will you be at My Favorite Things??? They are in Eunice … I love about 3 1/2 hours South … you never know! 🙂

This is gorgeous! I like your coloring philosophy to not worry about light source but to just have fun and shade wherever you choose. Coloring the nooks and crannies makes so much of an impact to the overall card. Just beautiful. I appreciate your tutorial and will have to look into getting this stamp when it comes out. It looks like it would be a lot of fun to color and if I did half as good a job of coloring it as you, I would be happy. Thanks again for a great tutorial.

Wow, just stunning. The nooks and crannies make all the difference in creating depth.

Wow, you have a twin? How nice that she will be living closer to you now!
Off to watch your video now. I am in love with this Power Poppy image especially since I’m seeing it with your awesome coloring! Thanks for sharing!

I love the way you embellish an image and make it pop! You are the master! We had snow all day yesterday. Mother Nature just can’t make up her mind. It’s supposed to be 69 degrees tomorrow. Go figure. Over the weekend I had my 18 month old twin grand babies over for a fun day! They are the best!

P.S. Love what you said about just letting ourselves experience the joy of coloring! It’s so great to have permission from an expert like you to not worry about being perfect! Also, it was eye-opening to watch you color the nooks and crannies! I have watched most of your videos so I know this is something you always do, but it was great actually seeing the process. Thanks!!

Hi Kathy, I really appreciate how you do your coloring, it takes the anxiety out of the process. I have always enjoyed coloring, so I’m going to work on your suggestion for myself! Thank you!
Also, I just started my own blog, come visit me!

Another amazing video!! This stamp from Poppy Power is so pretty. I think that bird could fly off the page his feathers are so realistic. Michigan still is getting snow….. we’re suppose to warm to 60′ this weekend so I hope this will be the last of it. I have been working on a full page floral that I intend to use for some backgrounds on my cards. Now that I see you using navy I think I can put some of that on my page. This was awesome to watch. A forever fan…..

I cannot tell you just how much I enjoyed your video. I’m so excited because I already have that calla lily stamp! I don’t have to wait for a mail delivery to try your beautiful technique! Your light touch really was an ah ha moment for me. Also drawing the water down to the color. Those leaves are spectacular!
I learned so much! Thank you.

Kathy, you are absolutely the coloring genius. I love watching your videos and hope to be able to relax in my coloring and be able to get better results. I really like the idea of doing the highlights with the Sharpie first.
We had great weather here in the Midwest over the weekend. I spent one day inside at a Truth conference that was amazing. The next day I went down a small meandering river on a canoe. Then at the end I took a Pseudo Polar Plunge. The air temp was close to 60 and the water temp was cold. It was invigorating.
