If you are new to the 30 Day Coloring Challenges a very warm welcome to you and so happy you are here. I hope to answer any questions you might have or give you a little refresher if you have participated before.
Sharing daily here on my blog and Instagram is something I always do and hopefully the private FACEBOOK PAGE where you can share your coloring. Keep in mind I am not super active at FB but, we will have a presence there and the focus is community.
WHAT IS THE GOAL of the challenge: To carve out a little “me” time and to color something daily even if it’s a few minutes but, certainly not required. (I know that I am happier when I am coloring even if it’s for 10 minutes.) Hopefully together along the way we will all stretch our creativity a little bit more. IN A NUT SHELL … it’s anything goes challenge … and whatever you feel inspired to do. Any medium of your choice including “coloring” with ink or fiber for that matter. Some days you will have more time than others but, it’s just about adding more time to color and carve out a little time for you. (often I have colored one petal on a flower)
CAN ANYONE PARTICIPATE IN THE 30 DAY CHALLENGE? YES please! If you want to participate you can jump in at any time during the challenge! Feel free to include your children and grandchildren. If you miss a few days don’t feel like you have to catch up. We all know life can get in the way.
HOW DO YOU SHARE WHAT YOU ARE COLORING? On Day 1. I will have a place for you to share on my blog with a link up. (here is the last challenge link up if you want to have a look) Two more ways to share are FaceBook or Instagram (these are more interactive) When you use the hashtag #thedailymarker30day I can find what you are doing. Kids & young adults use #thedailymarker30daykids.
WHAT IS A GOODWILL AMBASSADOR? Each challenge a group of people are chosen that were very active during during the previous challenge. They will be helping me spread love on Instagram and Facebook. The challenge is about coloring & it’s about community, spreading kindness & support for each other.
THE GOODWILL AMBASSADORS FOR THIS CHALLENGE are: A huge shout out to these ladies Seeka, Lizzy, Kelly, Gina, Susan, Amanda, Kari, Cris, Ardyth, Tina, Jo Ann and Patricia
WHAT IS “THE COLORING CHALLENGE ROAD TRIP” ? If you are new to the coloring challenge you most likely don’t know about the road trip. I have taken the coloring challenge on the road to create some happiness with a feel good all day event that is affordable plus give back to the community at the same time . The Coloring Challenge Road Trip will has & will continue to have lots of stops that will be all day meet-ups for anyone who loves to color and wants to be with like minded people. You can check out the Dates & Locations for “The Coloring Challenge Road Trip” here.
Feel free to grab the logos below to share on your social media. Thank you all again I am so grateful and super excited. See you tomorrow!! Big Hugs and lots of gratitude, Kathy

I color 365 days a year. Okay, maybe not on Christmas, Thanksgiving, & Easter but otherwise, I am always coloring. My mom goes to a chiropractor once a week and it lasts about an hour, sometimes 45 min. I settle myself down on the couch, take my clipboard out of the big bag with handles that holds my goodies & guess what I do? I love it! Then my mom goes for therapy for the arthritis that she has in her knees. That was an hour twice a week. Now she is going for the arthritis she has in her shoulder. Of course I bring all my goodies in my bag & spend a whole hour coloring & having fun. Of course people always want to see what I am doing & maybe ask me questions & stuff. Everyone always loves what I do & that makes me so happy. I’ve even mentioned you & Jen M. a few times!
Now I am making Christmas cards for family & friends & for the challenge where the cards are going to nursing homes, so I have been stamping, using stickers, sequins & sparkles & coloring. I am having so much fun being creative! I even made some fall cards with real fall leaves that I laminated to send to my cousin & niece in FL. When you laminate them, they stay the color they are if you laminate them right away. Otherwise they start to turn a little. I always say that God gave me a talent, & if I don’t use it, I will loose it. Boy am I using it a lot!
Thanks Kathy for starting up the challenge again. I am so totally up for it!
Are you coming to CT? I can’t go to the Cape but I wish I could because I would so totally love to meet you. If you came to CT I would so be able to go!
