Hello Friends! Happy Weekend to YOU! Quick tip and short post today.
Thumbelina was one of my favorite stories as a child so little homes like these from Stamping Bella make me happy. This particular one is called “Little Bits Fairy House“. There is a awesome collection of Little Bits fairies, flowers and such. Hope to ink those babies up later. By the way love how Stamping Bella has colored packaging a perfect guide to get you started when coloring.
I linked up the stamp with Ink on 3 Fade Out ink on this 110lb. Neenah.
Right now the texture looks a bit to much but, hopefully when the flowers are colored they won’t. The random stones were easy to create. See below.
I colored the base of the house with the above colors. Using the “0” marker I colored over the E51 and N1. (I can’t find my E50!) Coloring over it with the “0” gave it a modeled texture. Take a pencil and use the modeling to color around the lighter areas. Make sense?
See you tomorrow and I AM LOVING WHAT YOU ALL ARE SHARING. Hugs, Kathy
P.S. There are 3 ways to share what you are coloring. If you want to join a community of coloring enthusiasts I recommend FaceBook or Instagram. Be sure to tag me and use the hashtag #thedailymarker30day. Kids & young adults use #thedailymarker30daykids.

Love how you’ve “colored” the stones on this cute little house! Happy Sunday!

That means so much to me, Gwen! Thank you 🙂

That texture looks totally cool!! I always feel like my coloring is so flat and when i try to texture stuff it just doesn’t look like the pros, no matter how much I practice!! Thanks for the inspiration!
Kathy Racoosin says
Nora, I feel that way too! I find that if I walk away (and the Copics have time to dry), when I come back to it that I like it better than I originally thought. We are often our own worst critic 🙂

Gorgeous Kathy, I love that you draw in your stones in the wall of the cute house. I am colouring an image where I draw a stonewall with flagstones, love to add things of your own and make the image more interesting.
Thanks for showing and see you the next post.
Unfortunately I didn’t get a e-mail notification, not from this and not from day 4.
Glad that I saw day 3 on instagram and popped over here to see the whole post.

I am still trying to post but I’m not having much luck. I sent them a second e-mail & I hope they will explain better how to post stuff. I liked what you had before & I had no trouble posting anything. Now I am having all kinds of trouble. I’ll get it fixed I hope.
I also loved Thumbelina when I was a kid but that’s because I was smaller then all the other kids back then & guess what? I’m smaller then all the other adults now! LOL I had a Thumbelina doll as a kid & she was a big doll. She had a dial in the back & when you turned it, she wriggled like a real baby. She was big enough to wear my baby clothes!
I love how you did the house & how you put the stones on it. I always admire your coloring. It’s beautiful & of course I love Stamping Bella.
