Hello Friends, How is your week going? I am pretty thrilled I was able to finish my watercoloring. Did you see how my background came together in this post yesterday?
Thank you all for your blog comments I do read and enjoy each one. I am trying to get better at answering them. Working on that.
I printed the digital stamp from Power Poppy called, “Dancing With Daffodils” on some regular printer paper. (I enlarged the digial stamp before printing) in my post yesterday I explain how I got to this point.
So here she is all finished. The leaves at the bottom were blue but, my husband “didn’t care for the blue” and I was slightly unsure so I added green. I just showed him the green leaves and he said, “better” ah MEN!
Honestly I really don’t promote products that much but, I have developed a love for the Karin markers. If you have watercolor markers you don’t need to buy these but, if you are on the market for watercolor markers I highly recommend them.
When everything was dry I added a few pencil details. Less pencil details than what I normally do.
Often I mention our posture and to be mindful of our necks. I just acquired a table top adjustable easel for less strain on my neck. It’s top quality and beautiful…. this is a forever piece and it will last that long. I like to think that you get what you pay for. BONUS the top swivels so you don’t have to turn the paper …. just swivel your easel (the part my floral is on) Table top easel is from Louden Art Boards.
Do you like the blue or the green leaves? I do like the blue peeking through the green.
A paper block such as Arches (my fav paper) is easy to work with unless you are stamping or tracing a design on the paper. Then you have to deal with some warping.
If you leave your project in the book over night it will be as flat as a pancake. Have a wonderful day and thanks for your visit! I will be back tomorrow. Hugs, Kathy
