Helloooo Friends! How are you today? Insert prayer hands …. I truly hope you all are ok!!
On another note …. Today is the 15th day of “The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge”. Wow how time flies!! If you have been on the fence and watching The 30 Day Coloring Challenge from the side lines the middle mark is a great time to take the leap, jump in and get your feet wet! Test the waters! Don’t feel like you are jumping into the middle of the challenge I hope you will think of it as a new beginning.
The world is getting crazier by the day and finding that 10 minutes for some you time is more important than ever. Time to get out of your head and take you away from everything except what’s on your paper in front of you.
If you decided to jump into the challenge don’t be hard on yourself and dive in with your eyes shut and enjoy the benefits that coloring will give you. If you want to get my posts in your mailbox you can sign up here or subscribe to my videos here.
This is the first time I have tried Simon Says Stamp “Sentiment Strips” OMG LOVE! Once my coloring is complete it’s a painful process for me to stamp a sentiment. These strips you just cut and add some foam tape on the back for dimension!
The “Etched Snowflakes” background stamp resembles a mandala to me in a way lol. Previously on an airplane (weeks ago) I added some lines with a brown marker. For today all I needed to do for my post was watercolor with a pink Karin marker. Sooo relaxing!! Especially since we can’t find any toilet paper!! We are always down to the last roll before we get more but, we have about 8 which is a lot for us.
In case you are curious this is the watercolor paper I use and always use Gina K. Designs Warm Glow Ink… like ALWAYS!
See you tomorrow. Hugs, Kathy

This is beautiful, Kathy! The design and the colors make for a stunning combination. I haven’t been able to participate in this 30-day for multiple reasons, but enjoy taking a peek at the accomplishments of others!

I love the colors on the etched snowflake. The card is beautiful. I would trade a roll of toilet paper for it. That’s how much I like it.

Gorgeous watercolored backgound!

Love your colour mix! I never would have thought of it.
Ok. So what I’ve heard is the thing with the tp started because a lot of Europe gets its tp from China and the supply was disrupted because of the virus running rampant amongst so many people living in close quarters.
There is no shortage in North America where we make our own. It’s only out in the stores occasionally here because they can only stock so much in the space they have and people are buying it all up. They get more in the next delivery.

That is beautiful!

Gorgeous coloring… I love the shading. Looks really dramatic! Crazy times out there. Our governor just closed all bars and restaurants. Only take out will be available if your favorite place offers it. Thank goodness for lots of card making supplies! I had to go for a dentist appt. today and was happy to get back home. Glad your challenge offers some fun away from all the craziness. Thanks for you!

Kathy, I feel your pain about the toilet paper but I figure as crafters, we can always use our paper scraps. Love this piece. Love you.

Just gorgeous Kathy

I like the way the concentrated color looks in the pockets. I feel the tp pain. The shelves were out at the only store open last night. They had plenty of napkins and tissue though…

Gorgeous Kathy and you could have fooled me, I wouldn’t say they were snowflakes the way you used this awesome background stamp.
And yes we are half way, time flys when you have fun.
Thank you so much for sharing , happy colouring and see you tomorrow.

I like what you did with that stamp. However, it’s not a stamp that I would get. Sometimes I look at what you did & I say oh my gosh, I have to have that stamp. Not this time, sorry. I guess we can’t like the same things all the time, can we? Great job, Kathy!
