Hello Again Friends, Thinking of you all during this crazy time in our lives and giving you a virtual hug and big squeeze!
Simon Says Stamp is hosting a huge celebration of inspiration on their blog!! This timely blog party is called, “United We Craft” and we’re excited that you are here joining this EPIC party!
There will be over 100 Simon friends using product that was previously released. This way you can pull from your shelves or drawers without needing to purchase a thing hopefully!! If not I would bet that you have something similar.
If you want to check your stash for the products that I used here you go. The large card panel die called, “Marilyn Full Card“, “You’ve Got This” and “Picture BookBunny“. My goal in creating this card was to make something happy! This bunny with the google eyes helped accomplish that.
The Simon Says Stamp store is unable to ship at the moment BUT, you still can add to your wish lists or to your cart so that when we get through this Simon Says Stamp will be READY to ship! Kudos to Simon for following the law!! I can’t imagine how hard this is for our favorite small companies…. and how this Covid has affected everyone.! Every.single.day I count my blessings!
My intention was to finish this but, time didn’t permit. In the following photo you can see the flower I colored have colored so far.
Below is a thumbnail of a previously colored image using the same stencil.
This card was watercolored using the Peony Bouquet stencil with distress ink.
This time using the Peony Bouquet stencil I inked it with Simon Says Stamp die inks. I enhanced the petals with pencils. As you can see I didn’t do that great of a job with the stencil but, once I add color with the pencils I think you won’t notice. I will finish this up during the next 30 Day Coloring Challenge. It’s open to everyone!
Simon Says Stamp asked us to share what we are doing that relates to United We Craft. As most of you know I will be hosting The 30 Day Coloring Challenge back to back because we all love to color and I have heard that it brings some joy and calm during this crazy part of our lives. Selfishly it does for me too.
Thank you for signing up for our Color & Connect yesterday. I have so much energy after seeing your faces and talking about coloring.
Lydia and I have will be doing these every Tuesday but, will switch the times up to accommodate all different time zones. If you would like to sign up I have attached the sign up below. Thank YOU for your visit today. Hang in there and sending you love and prayers. Hugs, Kathy
